It was whipped cream—
velvety, soft, smooth,
melt-in-your-mouth,
cool with the right tint of ice,
warm with right tint of silkiness—
atop the most decadent dessert
(two ‘s’s for an extra helping).
And then it was strawberries—
juicy, sweet, supple,
firm but yielding,
cool with the right tint of winter,
warm with the right tint of summer—
underneath the beginnings of the sumptuous dessert
(two ‘s’s for extra pleasure).
For now it’s just a dream—
thrilling, alluring, blissful,
typical sunshine and roses,
cool with the right tint of resistance,
warm with the right tint of temptation—
all wrapped in the idea of his one kiss
(two ‘s’s for sensual sensation).
