Graves by Oregonian

Printer
Summary: In December of 1997, Harry visits his parents' graves in Godric's Hollow and realizes that they are the end toward which we all are headed.

Written for the Sixth Annual October Triathlon: Race to Hallowe'en.
Inspired by this fragment of verse:
We do lie beneath the grass
In the moonlight, in the shade
Of the yew-tree. They that pass
Hear us not. We are afraid
They would envy our delight
In our graves by glow-worm light.

Story Notes: The words 'Yule' and 'wheel' come from the same Old English root, because the people of those times saw the changing of the seasons as the turning of a great wheel.
