Iman is a pompous old hag and shall be the first to admit it. She’s a proud Sagittarius--a horse, by Chinese zodiac guidelines--and enjoys nothing more than expensive shoes (which she really can’t afford, that haplessly unemployed teenager, and must instead take extreme measures to get her dirty hands on them) and torturing fictitious characters with her master puppeteering. She is a self-proclaimed history buff, and insists that there is no such thing as too much chocolate.

She currently resides in Chicago, the most hospitable city on the face of the planet (even though the planet doesn't have much of a face), but hopes to travel the world one day. Iman hates long walks on the beaches because exercise and a healthful lifestyle are all she’s against (and also because artificial sand is impossible to walk in), is revolted by candle-lit dinners because most people act completely out of character when taking part in such, and is also feeling as if this is turning into a personal ad and shall stop immediately.

The Upside of Being Down by Kimberley

Rated: Professors •
Summary: *COMPLETED!*What happens when you put a hopelessly "romantic" man-hussy and a girl with a soft spot for bedtime activities (not THOSE activities, silly!) together in a dark bedroom? Well, I don't happen to know either, so I suppose we'll find out together, won't we? Come with me, Tia C. Spencer, on a lovely ride through the countryside... er, lakeside... okay, so we won't actually be riding NEXT to anything, but it will be lovely, I promise you that. How can it not be, with me as your illustrious (and quite possibly mad) companion?

And no, contrary to beliefs very likely impressed upon you by this summary, I'm not a gormless prat.

Well... not entirely.

In the Eyes of Others by Vindictus Viridian

Winner of Mod Quicksilver Quill for Best Novel! Thanks, all!

Rating and warnings do not apply to all chapters; I just didn't want anyone hooked and then shocked.
"What is it?" His mother held out her hand, and he put the letter in it wordlessly. "Are you eleven already?"

His father lowered the newspaper to look at the calendar. "Yesterday. ‘Appy birthday." And that was the end of that.

Where Laughter Dies by Noldo

But now that she's been allowed to return-- under certain terms-- in what would have been her graduating year, will she be able to regain the trust of her fellow Hogwarts students, and of herself?

Excerpt from story: Merlin, he was going soft, Draco thought as he tried not to grimace. He'd start spouting off poetry in a minute if he wasn't careful. This whole love thing was sending him round the twist.
