Ok...bio, bio, bio....

Well, I’m a Harry Potter fanatic…I think that’s sort of a given, though. I’m mainly interested in Lily/James stuff, so you should expect mostly that category from me. I spend basically my entire life either reading or writing. Oh, also, if occasionally you see an Author’s Note from me that seems completely random and somewhat spaztastic, just regard it as a normal circumstance and ignore it. That should be about all.

A Single Miscalculation by megan_lupin

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: One night will always be remembered in the world of Harry Potter. There was one night that started it all — a Dark Lord was defeated, a friendship was broken, and a child was left an orphan, yet hailed as a hero at the same time. The night of All Hallow’s Eve is recounted once again in this tale.

I know what you are thinking. Anyone would think the same thing. You want to hear the story, the tale, from the very beginning. You want to know exactly what happened on that Halloween night of 1981.

Very well. I can tell you about the one night that I will never forget — the night of 31 October, nearly sixteen years ago.

Wow. I have to say, I thought this was wonderful! I've never even considered something from Voldemort's point of view, and I though that was incredibly interesting. You had a wonderful grip on the idea of what's happening to Lily and James, and how they would react. Again, I think this is fantastic! Great job!

Of Cauldrons and Comrades by LuthAn

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: "Albus Dumbledore aimed his wand at the Pensieve’s liquid depths and twitched his arm upwards. Ten ghostly figures slowly emerged from the liquid, their bodies spun out of the translucent matter. The Gryffindor Class of 1978..."

We all know how this tale ends, but how does it begin? Did Lily hate James from Day One? Did James fall head over heels the moment he first laid eyes on Lily? How did Remus feel about the whole thing? Who let Peter slip through the cracks? And what exactly happens when Sirius gets hold of some Time-Release Dungbombs?

The Marauders' years at Hogwarts were marked by internal demons, external tensions, and whispers from the shadows growing steadily louder. By intertwining lives in the midst of danger. By powerful love and a whole lot of laughter. This is their story, a tale of cauldrons and comrades.

Oh. My. God. Oh my god! I totally knew it, too! I thought Ted was a Death Eater the second James started suspecting something about him! But still, I hoped it wasn't true...oh my god!

And he stabbed Lily! AH! OH MY GOD! Is James going to come save her? He has to! Please please please update soon!

Author's Response: Did you guess it? If you did, good for you! I had been trying to drop hints that Ted wasn't exactly a great person. . . . Most of the reviewers seem to think that James will be the one to rescue her, but you'll just have to wait and find out as soon as I can update! (Which will hopefully be very soon!) Thanks for the review.

Wow. That was really good! I loved how you brought in the mythology. I'm a big fan of it myself, so I thought this was really creative and cool. I also thought the way you kind of changed from memory to reality to fantasy and back to reality again was awesome. It flowed really nicely. Awesome job, and great story!

Author's Response: Thanks! I really love mythology as well; I\'m glad you liked how I incorporated it in. :)

aaaah! i love it! love it, love it, love it! you're a fantastic writer! aah! ok, as for the ending...
i thought it was really good, but i was a tiny bit confused at the whole thing with snape looking at malfoy, or whatever that was. so, yeah. still think it's fantastic though! oh, and you do have a few little typos in there. again, fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!

Author's Response: I do need to fix those few typos that escaped me, you\'re right. At the end he\'s going to a meeting of Death Eaters, run by Malfoy, who\'s already graduated. Thanks for the review!

Click! by Pussycat123

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Before Harry’s fifth year at Hogwarts, he is shown a group photo of the original Order of the Phoenix, back when it was his parents fighting against Voldemort.

But a photo doesn’t show their lives, their personalities, their every day conversations ... or how much organising can be needed to take one single photograph when you have a room full of people – especially when four of whom liked to call themselves “Marauders” back in their school days ...

A Highly Combustible Situation by whatapotter

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: When James makes a cocky boast that he knows Hogwarts so well he could make his way around it blindfolded, Lily unexpectedly takes his bet. Now, James has to spend twenty-four hours with a magical blindfold on, fumbling his way around the trickiest areas of the school. If he loses, he must publicly announce his failure, admit he’s not really as cool as he thinks he is, and give a large apology to Severus Snape. If he wins, however, he gains the adulated prize of giving one kiss to Lily Evans.

Suddenly, James is very keen for this bet to take place…

As for Lily… well, at first she thought it would be a grand idea to humiliate Potter, and was looking forward to his embarrassing debut. However, as any student who’s attended Hogwarts for longer than a few hours would know, Hogwarts just isn’t that safe… especially not when you’re blind, have a natural affinity for trouble, and your name is James Potter. Somehow, Lily’s been roped in for Potter-sitting, and it’s starting to look like a very, very long twenty-four hours.

Wow. I love this story! It's so cute and fluffy and sweet, and it just gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. I think you did an excellent job of capturing the characters' personalities. Once again, I love it.

Author's Response: It gave you a \"warm fuzzy feeling?\" Definitely a good sign! Lol. Anyway, I\'m glad that you found the characters believable as those created by the wonderful JK Rowling. (All hail JK Rowling!) Ahem. Anyway, thanks for loving it, and thanks for the review! :D

Romance will bloom.

The author will try to stop using so many bad plant puns.

The story of Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs' NEWT years will be told.

First of all, I have to let you know that the summary you wrote for this story is incredibly entertaining and definitely caught my attention. I like it a lot. Any chance you might want to give me summary writing lessons? :-) Just kidding.

The first chapter is definitely very surprising. I wasn't expecting Lily to get sent to jail...very new, very different. I'm loving it so far. I really like your writing style. Awesome job!

Author's Response: Thank you. I worked hard on the summary. Thanks for your review!

Haha, I love the last bit! That's amazing! I can't believe Remus would actually kiss James...ew! But so funny!

I do have one suggestion, though. It seems to me like Lindy's adoption comes on a little bit fast. I feel like maybe you want to have James watch her for a little longer, maybe, just so we (readers, I mean) can get to know her a tad more. Excellent job, though!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I do wish now I had made the beginning a little longer, maybe put in some more observations about her. But it's too late now. Thanks for reviewing!

Another very good chapter, if I do say so myself. I'm rather curious to know what Lily and Snape are talking about. I hope it comes up. Hint hink wink wink nudge nudge. ;-)

Author's Response: Thank you! Lily and Snape are just talking about the "Mudblood" incident during O.W.L.s, and that Snape testifying in Lily's favor somehow manages to even that out. Thank you so much!

Oooh, Lady Firebrands. I can't wait to see what they come up with! I'm loving your take on Lily, by the way. It's much different than anything I've seen before, and it's really cool. Awesome job.

Author's Response: Thank you very much! I appreciate your review.

This is really intense. I love it. I've said this before, but it's definitely true: I like your writing style. It's fun to read, and it flows nicely. Great job.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! My writing style is fun to write, too, believe me. Thanks for the review!
