What a lovely little ditty! Charachterizations are good, and the twist at the end is superb. Well done!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad I managed to get Lily in character
I read through your work, and each of your stories begins with a unique central idea, which I consider to be an accomplishment within itself. This one is my favorite; I like the idea of Bellatrix as an emotionally disturbed teenager. It certainly explains her later choices.
Author's Response: Thanks; I dislike writing a story unless I have a really good plotline to it. Yes, Bellatrix must have been somewhat like that to become what she is know. Thanks for reviewing!
"If Hermione had thought Albus had changed the subject earlier to make her more comfortable, she quickly found that he had absolutely no trouble at all with making her uncomfortable again." Ahh, this line made me chuckle! So, Severus is thinking about Hermione in the lavender dress? I wonder if he would buy it and send it anonymously?
Author's Response: Thanks. Yes there will be quite a bit of thinking for Severus, but You'll have to wait and see. He definitely has his own agenda.
Oh, a mystery!! What happened in Seventh Year, hmm? Tell us soon!
Author's Response: Sorry, you'll have to wait until the end to find out.
Yum! I want Hermione's bath dream too. What in the world are those Weasley women going to do to keep their prey tied together for the entire wedding? And what in the dickens are Hermione and Albus up to with the healing potion? So many questions, and Miss has the answers... Tell us soon! More!
Author's Response: It's not exactly those Weasley women are going to do, it's more who is going to do what, but you'll see.
My, my, my -- not just a dress, but shoes, a necklace, and earrings?? What a clever, sneaky, snarky Professor! I do enjoy the idea of a Cinderella Hermione. We only have to wonder what Albus will get up to now ...
Author's Response: If you do something, do it right. In my mind Severus is the kind of man who always wants perfection, and I think he can afford it, although I don't know why. Maybe it was this story where he takes Hermione out to dinner and acts all aristocratic? *hint*
Oh, how he does provoke her -- and he knows it! He does it on purpose. I am curious to see what is going to happen when they stop deliberately ticking one another off long enough to take a good long look. More, please!
Author's Response: Thanks. Well we really are approaching the end of the story, so it won't be long. I actually did a bit of rewriting at the end, making it possible to write a sequel. We'll see....
"All she was thinking about were those dark tunnels that were his eyes." Ah hah! And we know whose eyes are like dark tunnels, the snarky bastard! I'm glad to see Ginny and Harry being happy. Looks like Ginny has her work cut out for her, getting Hermione to cooperate, though...
Author's Response: Thanks, you are the first one to pick that one up though. One of my beta's (who isn't a fan of Snape) was wondering who I was talking about, until she read chapter 3.
Get them both involved in Harry and Ginny's wedding??? Interesting to see how that will work out!
Author's Response: It's called a simple plan, believe me it is. Molly will explain....
Those nights when I am summoned to the Dark Lord, and do not return to the tower until after midnight, she leaves me a note. ‘Goodnight professor,’ She signs them with her name, ‘Hermione.’ I have kept every single one. Oh, my dear, this is so BEAUTIFUL, and it touched me so! What a lovely idea, and how very much I enjoy the parallel points of view. This is an excellent piece, full of poignancy, and I sincerely hope that you will write many, many more.
Author's Response: Thanks. I don't know what I would write about if it couldn't be about this. So I guess I will keep it up. :-)
How sad! I feel so badly for them. You need to write a companion piece for *after* the war ... one with a happy ending ;)
