"You haven't got a letter on yours," George observed. "I suppose she thinks you don't forget your name. But we're not stupid - we know we're called Gred and Forge."
-Sorcerer's Stone
Snape's reaction was interesting. Of course, he doesn't know if Voldemort is in power and what story Draco has told. I would assume that once he saw Harry, Mr. Weasley, and possibly other Order Members like Kingsley in the audience he would have told them the truth.
Harry will help Draco out of the mess. I doubt he will want to admit that they spent the night together. Maybe he'll play the Harry Potter-war hero card again.
"The guard can see us through the mirror," That was funny. : )
Author's Response: I think Snape was a bit confused. He\'s spent months in Azkaban with no one to talk to and no information, so he can\'t really be sure if things are as they seem. He\'s also a little bit paranoid...
Ah, yes, the hero-card... Harry feels wholly uncomfortable with that, as he should, being, you know, Harry.
Thanks once again for reviewing!
wow...major cliffie!
i must first say i very much enjoyed this story!
Severus finally pulled through for Draco! I'm curious about what made him come around. I like Narcissa's speech. She always seemed to be sort of in the background when Lucius was around, but now she's taken her maiden name back and she's standing on her own two feet. : )
Author's Response: Even after HBP, I was one of those people who were absolutely convinced that Snape was good. Of course he came around! :) As for Narcissa, I always did feel like Lucius was holding her back, and that there was more to her than the sour-looking woman first described in GoF. As much as I dislike Bellatrix, I rather like Narcissa. A mother\'s love always deserves respect.
I really liked this! I think you captured Harry's reactions to the deaths very well. The song was a great choice, too; also very sad.
I didn't understand why he hugged Aunt Petunia, though, because she wasn't really ever a member of his family. I would expect the last people he would go to would be Ron and Hermoine.
Author's Response: Well, Harry had been with Ginny, Ron, and Hermionie before, and he had already left them so that they could not be hurt in his final battle with Voldemort. He also watned to see aunt Petunia, uncle Vernon, and Dudly one last time because they did keep a roof over his head and (occasional) food in his stomache; they also made him stronger by teaching valuble lessons about human nature, and how not to love...they were also the closest living people to his mother and father, so he wanted to be with them one last time.

I was really worried when you said The End, but I'm excited for the sequel!
Harry messed things up big time! I love the explanations you gave for why everything has changed.
Author's Response: Glad you liked it! Ch. 1 of the sequel is in the queue; hope to see you there!
I just started reading this and I really like it! This chapter was like Wow! He just destroyed the leather! Dumb Harry...
Author's Response: You\'re not the first person that\'s called Harry that...lol...glad you liked it; thanks for R/Ring!
What a mess Harry's gotten himself into. But now Ron and Hermoine are here! YAY! Can they use the diary to go back in time and keep Lily from getting pregnant? Maybe it doesn't work like that, but I'm just glad they're back. : )
Author's Response: Yeah, he could be in deep trouble right now...and you\'ll see why in the next chapter. Thanks for R/Ring!
That was beautiful. I love the way the story went back and forth between flashbacks and Draco in the forest, but we're not quite sure how they connect until the end.
The ending was perfect. It was sad, not all endings should be fluffy and happy. And it leaves an air of mystery because we don't know what happened to Loralie.
Draco's characterization was great. Even though his parents have pureblood mania drilled into his brain, I believe that a childhood crush could lead to something more. My only criticism is that Loralie reminded me a lot of Cho, because of crying over boys, being really pretty and being in Ravenclaw.
I just started reading and I really like this story! Dave's in Slytherin, that will be interesting.
I second that Harry will likely be expelled.
-Kristen
Author's Response: I won\'t ruin the story and tell you what happens, but Kingsley Shacklebolt is well aware that Harry is a special case and has a job to do... though not everyone knows that ;-)
That was really exciting! The reactions of the prisoners were very good and very believable. I have a question though, how did Snape die?
Author's Response: we don\'t know if he\'s alive or dead. its never addressed. as far as we know he took draco and disappeared, hiding from both the dark lord and from the order
This was cute! Pansy doesn't treat Dave like her plaything like she did Draco, I guess she did some growing up since he left. I never pictured Blaise being into the Dark Arts like Draco, since his dad isn't a death eater (I don't think - I could be wrong) Update Soon! : )
Author's Response: he has no dad, his mother is famous because all her husbands die mysteriously
All is not well.
George uses work and Firewhisky to cope with Fred's death until a drink with a friend leads to something that dulls pain better than alcohol. Emotionally torn by grief, he struggles to allow Alicia into his life...and then comes baby....

Very good chapter! I can't wait to see what will happen with Mrs. Weasley at the Spinnet house. ~Kristen
Author's Response: I can\'t wait to \'see\' your reaction to it...although I guess I have to, lol.
I love this chapter! Bill's such a great big brother, I'm glad Fred's voice is back; he hasn't been around much in recent chapters. I can't wait for the next one!
And Ghouls wear Ron's pajamas when they're pretending to have spattergroit!
-Kristen : )
Author's Response: Some moments in life are too intense for a little voice to be heard, but Fred will never be silenced for long!
The boy has more than one set of pajamas. Which ones?
Definitely squeeing! This was so adorable! I loved the chapter and that he finally was decent to Percy. Now I can't wait for the update!
Author's Response: Decent is all George is up to for now, but it\'s a start, and beats wanting him dead any day! :D
*squeals*...That was unexpected! I can't wait for the update!
Author's Response: Yay for squeals, and what sort of pajamas do ghouls prefer? :D
This chapter was really good. I liked how you had her dreaming everything, it showed George for the workaholic he is and that's what she's afraid of. Is that really the future or just a dream though?
Author's Response: Kinda \'Ghost of Christmas Future\' LOL. If she doesn\'t expect anything much from George, if she just loves him and enables him to keep in the same rut, this is what the future might be like...not all bad, but not good as it should be!
That was such a sweet chapter... very unexpected and a lot of fluff, but I liked it! I liked Blaise too, and I loved that line about Draco Malfoy, and I don't have his politics and opinions or whatever it was (sorry I'm on the wrong page to go look for it) I can't wait for the update!
Author's Response: You got the gist of it, so you\'re the cat\'s pajamas to me! :D
I like this story! Just added to faves. I see Dawlish is jealous of Arthur (and taking it out on Ron and Harry)
Author's Response: Thank you for the add! Isn\'t that the way it usually goes--Harry and Ron taking the heat for someone else?
Your characterization of Snape is amazing! I think you really got inside his head and explained the events perfectly, especially since it was written pre-DH, you predicted canon very well!
I'm sorry to say that I would leave the last couple lines off. It's a great twist, but it doesn't feel right with the rest of the story.
~Kristen
Author's Response: Thanks Kristen! It was interesting writing a story from his POV, because I had always strongly disliked him (unlike most of my fellow Ravenclaws!). I\'m glad you thought I did well! And I didn\'t really predict canon, I was just going off what Jo had already shown us.
As for leaving off the twist at the end - the whole story was actually written for the twist, so it would sort of defeat the process. Obviously, if I had been writing it post-DH, I would have left it to a simple Snape-POV fic of that night. But I just wanted to have a little fun with one of my theories!
Thankyou very much for the review!
This is so sad, Harry would have been mortified if Ginny died. The funeral was really sweet too, but where are Hermoine and Ron? They should be helping Harry... : (
electric blue — what’s so unusual about that?
heh. I liked this line! Teddy seems like a cool kid, but I'm surprised Harry never told him Remus was a werewolf. Update Soon!
