Well, hello Kevin!
Great chapter! Corrine and Mickey are so funny, and I'm glad he made a friend. I thought they didn't see the castle until they were already out on the lake, but I could be wrong.

Author's Response: **Shrugs** I had the book on my lap and I pretty much followed it from that. ~Evie

Hey guys! A lot of you have been wondering whether I'm continuing this story. Don't worry, I am. I've been really busy with real life issues lately and haven't had much time to dedicate to writing while keeping the same quality as previous chapters, but I’m very sorry about the delay. I’m a reader as well, and I know it’s horrible to wait forever for an update. I can promise chapter six will be ready for you guys soon though! I've finished writing it, so that leaves the editing with my beta and then being accepted by the mods. (I have no idea how long the queue is these days.) Again, I hope you guys don’t think I’ve abandoned this story, because that’s not going to happen, so please don’t abandon me! I love my readers and reviewers and I plan on submitting at the pace I was before, now that I’m not so busy. The next chapter is titled What Dudley didn’t know about his mum (or something to that effect—it’s a working title) and I hope you guys like it. It’s one of my favorites so far! If anyone wants to contact me, you can find me on the Beta Boards, my username is the same!

I know, it's been so long! I'm trying to fire out a few more chapters before school starts. I'm glad you liked it and thanks for reviewing!

Author's Response: Wow, how lame am I? Accidentally reviewing my own story...

Desires by Stubbornly_appeared

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: "Men have wasted away before it, entranced by what they have seen, or been driven mad, not knowing if what it shows is real or even possible." -Albus Dumbledore

Everyone has a desire. Few realise what it is. Fewer are ever faced with it.

When the Mirror is created, the young apprentice Faxon must make a difficult choice.

Creepy...I like it! It's interesting how you gave the mirror a history and told us who made it.

Author's Response: Hey, thanks. Chapter Two is in the works. *ghostly music*

Things That Go Bump In The Night by shewhoguards

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: First take one ghoul. Stun it, and stuff it into pyjamas before it has time to struggle. Add red hair. Cover the final product liberally in large painful boils. What you produce using this method should be a perfect replica for a Weasley with spattergroit - and if Fred and George were right, better looking than Ron - and the rest was straightforward.

Or not.

I had to read this story when I saw it! *points to author name* It was cute and very funny.

Holey by wewillmissyou

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: There is more than one hole in George Weasley, other than the one of the side of his head. Ever since Fred died he'd been different, so his often neglected fiance Angelina suggests he adopts a child for two weeks to see how he would fare as a father. George does just that, and adopts Holley, who had also lost a twin. They both expected nothing of the experience, but soon learn truly what love is. And how to heal that hole in both their hearts.

I really like this! It's an interesting start to a story, and Holley seems like a fun character. Her personality seems a lot like Fred's, who was always more outgoing than George. Holley and George could be really good for each other. I'm looking forward to updates!

Author's Response: Aw! Thanks for the great review! I\'m glad you like it! I\'ll be sure to update it soon!

Worth a Thousand Words by starscribe

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The hunt for Sirius Black is not going well. Two years after his mysterious escape from Hogwarts, Kingsley Shacklebolt is no closer to finding the infamous murderer, and to top it all, rumors of Voldemort's return are seeping through the Ministry. So when Mad-Eye Moody offers him a chance to join the Order of the Phoenix, Kingsley is more than glad to accept...until he meets someone unexpected at headquarters.

That was great! It's an original idea and I liked it a lot. Kingsley's reaction when he first saw Sirius was really funny, and everyone seemed to be in character.

The Angels Come to Visit Us by social loner

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: “Yes. I’ll just ask an angel to watch over me,” Maura replied with steady certainty, like it were the most logical thing in the world.

Oliver laughed again, readjusting Maura on one knee so that he could face her. “Oh, I see. And where are you going to find this angel?”

Maura shook her head. “Everyone has an angel, silly. I already know mine. They just don’t show up unless you really need them.”

When Oliver Wood's daughter once again begs to learn how to fly, she makes a promise that brings Oliver's past memories back to life, as well as his belief in Angels.

That was really adorable! Oliver's and Maura's relationship was so close, it's really sweet. I like that it is centered around flying, since that is what we see of Oliver in the books. He is also one of my favorite characters!

The focus of angels is also very sweet, because it emphasizes the loss of her mother, but she is handling it well and feels that her mother still watches over her. Maura's determination for a year to continue looking for the angels shows that she really wants to learn to fly, and I'm sure she'll be as great as her father!

Sunrise For Hope by paperrose

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: What will become of you all, as you wait in the Room of Requirement day after day, wait for the end, wait for salvation? The answer to that question, it seems, was lost a long time ago.

The end of the war is little more than a faint wish. Hope and the will to love has all but vanished from sight; the will to fight is slowly becoming weaker and weaker. But does that mean that all is lost? Neville desperately needs something stable on which to hold. Will he find a reason to keep living and continue fighting? Or will he give up and leave fate to decide?

Wow... That was great! Neville is one of my favorite characters and you characterized him so well. I love the way you worked up to Harry, Ron, and Hermoine's return, and then, killing the snake --my favorite scene in the entire series! -- so I'm glad to hear it from his POV. I was inching my way to the edge of the seat the whole time... Definitely going to faves!

Author's Response: Thanks for your wonderful review! I am so happy that you think I portrayed Neville right. This was my 1st story featuring Neville. The scene where he kills the snake is definitely one of the greatest scenes in the series! It shows how Neville\'s evolved from that timid 1st yr with lots of insecurities, to the man he\'s become!

Tears Of Innocence by Siriusly Mr Black

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: An external monologue, from Narcissa Malfoy to Voldemort, in which she talks about her daughter Rose.

Date: 01/13/08 Title: Chapter 1: Innocence Is Always The First Casualty Of War

Wow! That was really great. I love that she is speaking to Voldemort, it gives the story a defferent perspective. Often, when it's written like that, it doesn't flow very well, but this was done amazingly! And it's your first fic? Wow! Can you tell that I liked it? : )

~Kristen

Author's Response: Yeah, its my first fic! I was kinda worried it would sound disjointed...but meh! I\'m glad it doesn\'t. Thanks for your review!

I enjoyed this chapter. I don't know that I would have expected that reaction from Snape, but your explanation makes sense. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: I appreciate your opinion and I can see why you would think that since it is Snape. Thanks a lot!!!

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •

Ghoul in Pajamas of Ravenclaw entering the Gauntlet!
Reviewer: Ghoul In Pajamas Signed
Date: 07/31/11 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Thanks for being the first review! I'd actually completely forgotten this story. I wrote it for the Gauntlet Challenge a couple years ago, which, if you don't know, is a challenge where you choose a character and are given ten prompts to write a full story with. But you don't get the second prompt until you've finished writing the first part, and so on, which is why the plot is so all over the place. It was a fun story to write though, and I'm glad at least one person other than my guide and beta read it! lol

I Wish I'd Taken Muggle Studies by OliveOil_Med

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: A potion has been created that has the ability to strip a wizard of their powers: a potion the Ministry of Magic couldn't wait to get their hands on. After the Battle of Hogwarts, lesser convicted Death Eaters are given a choice: go to Azkaban, or spend the rest of their lives as Muggles. While many people refused such a degrading option as a matter of pride, one Draco Malfoy chose the potion. Now, cast into the city of London, Draco both struggles with, and eventually enjoys his adaptation into the Muggle way of life.

But what happens when the effects of the potion turn out to be not-so permanent?
