Hi! I am an australian bookaholic, with a love of fantasy/historical fiction and mythology.

My favorite authors are: J. K. Rowling, J. R. R. Tolkien, Phillip Pullman, Garth Nix, Isobelle Carmody, Jean M Auel and Tamora Pierce.

I also enjoy sailing, cooking, sewing and bike riding, but my favourite hobby is (of course) reading and writing fan fiction.

I love this story! I can't count the number of times I have come back to read it. I love the way that you have presented them, the similarities between their predicaments and their solutions, the title, the way Slytherins are displayed as, not evil, but ambitous (I think that it was a major flaw for fans to even think that, much less believe, that all Slytherins are evil). Determination is in my favourites and there it will stay. 100/10!

I really like the way you have put Lizy in Slytherin, I agree that Slytherin is about ambition, not dark magic, it just happens that a lot of dark wizards are ambitious. I also like the 'other side' to Draco, I believe that he will become an unlikely ally later on. The way the Malfoy's interpreted Lily's ideas was interesting and perhaps paves the way for a sequel?

The whole book is written, along with all of year seven. I will post as fast as I can get the chapters past the moderators.

It's great so far, but it seems a little out of character for them to pratice illegal curses by tring it on each other, and for Lupin to let them, he was after all "the sensible one"

Author's Response: Well, breaking the rules has never been a problem for Ron or Harry. Hermione always goes along with them too. And Ginny, well your going to find out just what lengths she will go to to achieve her goals. They formed the DA which was an illegal organization last year, their biggest rule breaking endeavour yet. What I think is really silly, is not practicing against the Imperious curse. We know for a fact that you can fight it off. It does not hurt to be under the influence of the curse. In a controlled situation like they are practicing in, it makes perfect sense to me why you should train against it.

It's great, although I think the speech could be a little more fluid, in his 150 years of life, a lot of which was spent teaching, you would assume that better public speakers would be nearly impossible to find. I really enjoyed the plot, it was original and interesting, I would enjoy seeing more of the same.

But thank you for your constructive critism, and for your kind word. If you're interested, I have another story in queue, and I think it's much better than this one.
