Hey all you HP lovers!!I of course, am a total Harry Potter maniac, or I wouldn't be here. I got addicted to fanfictions a while ago and it is worse than some people with coffee! I consider Ginny Weasley to be the HP character I am most like. We are funny, fiery, bold, and in love with Harry. I'm also in love with Daniel Radcliffe, but that's a different story :)
I am working on some fics right now; I have so many wicked ideas, but I am really busy with school and homework (blah). I have some poem/songs I have written that I am going to submit soon as well. Another problem besides the time and lack of my own computer would be that I'm not very good at writing middles, or finishing ideas that I start.
I love Harry/ Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Lily/ James, Lupin/Tonks, and the next generation stories. If you have written a Teddy/Victoire story, I really wanna read it! I will also read alot of humor stories and sometimes Dark/ Angsty fics even though they make me cry sometimes..If you want me to read and review your fics, please let me know because I would love to read them!
Which HP Kid Are You?
Barty Crouch Jr. and Regulus Black; two boys with different expectations thrust upon them.
This is the story of how their paths cross, merge and then divide, leading towards two different endings; one tragic, one heroic.
"The Death Eaters, I want to join." I stared at him. His blue eyes were steady, his mouth set. He looked resolute. He had thought this over.
And then I got it. I finally got Sirius.
Nominated for Best Dark/Angsty Story in the 2011 Quicksilver Quills and for Best Marauder Era in 2012. Thank you so much!
Lovely! I found myself relating to Barty Jr. a lot, as he and I are shy and enjoy watching and studying people, and sometimes just want to be left alone. I can't wait to read the rest! Again, great job, thank you, and keep on dreaming and writing and scheming :D
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so glad you like it. Barty's shyness is really a very exaggerated reflection of myself when I was younger. Thanks, I will, you too! :)
"It was cruel, but beautiful. Like nature."
>Loved that!!
Lovely, again! You used the wrong "every one" once and I caught that, but really, really good. I enjoyed how unsentimental it is (in a good way, similar to Jo's, but it still manages to convey emotion, and I struggle with being too sentimental) and how relate able you make the characters. It really makes you wonder what they were like when they were all children....
Thanks and keep writing!!
Author's Response: Ah, thanks, I'll fix that. I'm glad you think it's unsentimental, because it's easy to slip into that "he's evil because he had a tragic childhood" but I still think there are reasons for these two that might explain a few choices they made... Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Brothers don’t leave.” He looked as if I’d hit him. It satisfied me.
”I left Mum and Dad, not you.”
Sorry to post another review right away (well, you probably don't mind too much; I know what it's like to beg for reviews), but I really loved that bit. Again, great story!! Lovely descriptions, as well.
"Sure, I pitied them, but not their pride." Like the Malfoys!
"The star had resigned and there was a vacancy at the theatre. I chose to step on stage."
Author's Response: Haha, don't worry I love the encouragement! Thanks! I'm glad you like those lines, espacially the first and the last ones. They were actually among those who came first and then I went from there. Thanks for the appreciation, truly makes me happy. Hope to see you next time! :)
Oh, my! What a good chapter. I liked the bit with the bible- that was funny. And I really like that end quote. Keep writing!
Author's Response: Hi! Thanks for reading and reviewing, I'm glad you like it! As you can see I haven't updated in a while but I'm still writing so hopefully it won't be too long until the next chapter :) Thanks again!
Just read the latest chapter- the way you write characters is amazing. JKR has always had a magical way of making even the bad guys real, round characters, and you do a great job of that. I never thought I would feel sorry for Bellatrix... she's so insane, brainwashed even, but you can't help but pity her! And Regulus is so relatable. Keep writing, this is fantastic.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the compliments, that's so heartwarming. I try hard with the characters so I'm very glad you think it has paid off. I hope you'll keep reading, because I won't stop writing. Thank you, again.
This is so sweet :) Although I think it's a bit sad that Hermione doesn't think Ron would be a good dad.
Author's Response: Thank you. How much faith do you have in the twenty-year-old males you know?
This is so sad! I'd never really thought of it like that- that James knew, that Wormtail would've come to tell him. And I think his last thoughts were of Lily and Harry.....Alas, just my own ponderings and opinion, but, all in all, lovely story!
Author's Response: It was really just a spur-of-the-moment thought for me, and then I couldn't stop wondering what would have happened if James saw Peter before he died.
I'd also like to think that James would be thinking of his family before he died, but I thought that this fit more, based one what had just happened. James has seen the two extremes: Peter eventually siding with Voldemort, and himself (James) vehemently defying Voldemort. Now that he's about to die, he can't help rethinking his choices.
Thank you for the review!
~Artsy_Werewolf
Haha, so sweet! I'm interested in how James changed... anyways, really great job!!!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! Chapter two will be up as soon as possible. I decided to do some major changes to it...almost done though. Then it will be off to my beta and posted ASAP. Thank you for reading!
My God, this is just awful. I mean, the story is lovely, and you've done a great job, but what I mean is that it's really sad :( Lovely!
Author's Response: My heart skipped a beat at first, but thank you! Snape's story is certainly a sad one, but thank you for the review!
My God, this is lovely. Really, truly, lovely. The Golden Dawn- I like that.
Keep writing, you have true talent!
During the second war, many must leave their homes and run for their lives. What must they feel, forced to hide from a government that hates their very existence?
Nominated for Best Poem in the 2011 Quicksilver Quill Awards.Beautiful. Really, it's so real and touching and emotional. Keep writing!!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review. That you found this poem touching is probably the highest compliment I could get. =)
This is lovely :) I thought the homemade dress one was either Molly or Ginny, and the first was maybe Draco's wife, but Narcissa makes sense. Anywho, keep writing dear!
Author's Response:
I'm glad you like it. :)
The first was meant to be Narcissa, though either Malfoy bride would fit. The second is Molly, since Ginny married Harry, who had more than enough money to buy her a dress, not to mention her own money made playing Quidditch. Plus, she was never portrayed as having domestic skills to spare that would be necessary to sew a dress (I've done it before; it's a pain!). The third bride was meant to be Ginny, but someone else pointed out that it could have been Hermione or even Andromeda, as well. I'll let you decide which fits the best. :D
Thanks for stopping in!
~Jess
Lovely!! I really enjoyed this. Keep on writing!!
Author's Response: Thanks! And I will! This is only the first fic that got posted, I have way more!
So cute! What a great proposal- so in-character. Typical of Ron, really. And I like how even Hermione can be a bit thick sometimes. I think this is very realistic and you did a lovely job! Thank you for sharing and keep writing.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I haven't written R/H in a looooong time so I appreciate your comments on them being in character. No worries on the writing bit - I enjoy it far too much to stop! Thanks again! ~Gina :)
I figured Brian was Neville's son when you mentioned Leaky Cauldron! Lovely story, by the way. And Teddy has a son- with Victoire, I presume. I see them naming their kids after his parents or grandfather, or something French from her family, possibly. Anyhow, just my musings. Great job- I'm a big fan of yours- I got an email about telling me you had a new story!! Keep writing and dreaming X
Author's Response: A very belated thank you so much for the lovely review, I'm so glad you enjoyed this story! I don't write my own characters very often, but I must say I sort of like Brian. I wonder if JKR had Neville becoming a dad? Thanks again! ~Gina :)
Ha! This is funny. I'm quite hungry now, though! Keep writing, you did a great job!!!
Author's Response: Thank you! It doesn't matter if you've only got two meagre fat cells, they'll conspire to make you eat absentmindedly. This is almost a public service warning. :P
This is STUNNING. It's beautiful and terrible and wonderfully written. It hurts me to think that something like this could happen and that wizards, especially Harry, had to suffer at the hands of Muggles. I hope this wouldn't happen- I hope the world doesn't become like this. Lovely, lovely, job. Keep writing.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm so glad you liked it, since it's a bit dark until the very end. I agree - I hope something like this wouldn't happen either. I don't think it really would, and sometimes it's hard for me to write things that I don't actually think would happen, so this was a good thing for me, to write it and make it believable. Thanks so much for the wonderful review, it's so encouraging. I really appreciate it and have no plans to stop writing! ~Gina :)
Lovely :) I can't wait to continue the story!
Author's Response: Thank you very much! I hope you enjoy the rest! ~Gina :)
This poem describes the joy that I feel when reading the Harry Potter books.
This is lovely. I really liked the phrase "the chosen pne of love". The imagery and emotions are truly felt- and shared.
From one aspiring poet to another, keep writing. Thank you for sharing this wonderful poem!
I can honestly say that this story brought tears to my eyes.
Never do I want to think about Harry dying.
But I've always believed that when that time comes, it will be with Ginny.
Thank you for a beautiful story.
