I am quite new to fanfiction and writing in English, for that matter, although by no means new to writing itself.Feedback means a great deal to me, in terms of motivation and improving my style with constructive critisism. So please review :) If I ever manage to get everything right to get a story published, that.:P I also greatly enjoy composing poetry, so I think I'll also write "fan-poetry".:D

Sliding Drawers by Loup_garou

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: It is argued that the most minuscule of occurrences can shape the course of history irrevocably. Butterflies flapping their wings overzealously, missing a train/forcing open the sliding doors of a train and catching it/getting your finger stuck in the sliding doors of a train as you attempt to force them open and having to run alongside it for the duration of the journey as an alternative to having it ripped off…and other such minutiae. Thus it was that, on a cold, wet night seventeen years ago, in a room above the bar at the Hog’s Head Inn, that Severus Snape made his (skid)mark. The History of the Potterverse is now at stake, and it remains for Lily Potter (with a little help from Lupin) to sort it all out. BE YE WARNED - this story contains pants. Underpants. (This story is intended as a bit of light-hearted fun and should be read as such, even if it is rather OOC!) Final chapter is up! Gather round, my children, and witness the astonishing finale!

"[...]was heard to mutter a word that made the infant Hermione, many miles away, say “Ron!” in a reproving voice. It was the beginning of a lifelong habit. "
That's the hardest I've laughed in a long time!:D

Like Father, Like Son by Mira Miracle

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Maths like it's taught in Muggle schools is useless, isn't it? In this matter, both Ron and his son Nick think alike. Unfortunately, they have to complete Nick's maths homework together - but luckily there's always some help around.

That was fun! And it seemed very real. That's the exact way Hermione would run a house, I'd say.

A Hypothetical Harry Potter Book 7 by Abif

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The story begins a few weeks after the end of Half-Blood Prince, when Harry is back at the Dursleys' once again, waking up Uncle Vernon from his favorite golfing dream. On escaping from the Dursleys', he finds that Hogwarts is open again and decides to return there after all, but only to find himself face-to-face with both Snape and Voldemort much sooner than he thinks! Through the course of the story, Harry will meet the most mysterious DADA teacher yet, learn the truth of the misunderstanding that took place on the lightning-struck tower, and discover that there really is a little more to Petunia that meets the eye, all the while with references to the amorphous Deathly Hallows.

This is meant to be a humorous rendition of what could happen in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It is intended to be a parody rather than a serious prediction of what happens next.

Love it! I especially like stories featuring Petunia as a character. Usually Vernon is the dominant one, but I really enjoy nuggets into Petunia's world, now that we know she has a lot more than meets the eye. And "ice cream! i want ice cream!" part is just too amazing!

Author's Response: Thank you for all your positive comments :) If you like Petunia/her story, you might also like the poem Into the Light (by me). And I know there is a story on this site that follows Petunia through the war- I just can't remember the name of it (it's not by me).... you could look in the D/A fics or General for it? Thanks again!
