My Troubled Tyrant by Belledeg

Summary: Keedie Dante has experienced many amazing things during her time at Hogwarts, including the hushed up drama that was the Chamber of Secrets. However, with two overachieving friends and a headmaster who does not even know she exists, Keedie feels that perhaps her seventh year will not be too spectacular. However, Dumbeldore sees her potential as a writer and enrols her in a simple writing course. Here, she meets the mysterious and terrifying Tom Riddle and they instantly get under one another's skin. She is drawn to his dark determination towards some unknown goal and he is fascinated by her, in every way. However, Tom's friends do not approve of Keedie and her unconventional ways and Keedie has many people trying to keep her away from the dark young man as well. Something inside tells Keedie that she can make him better, but even he assures her that this is an impossible task. But she's not one to give up easily...
"He is a dark one, Keedie. Try not to let him consume you entirely."

Wow!
The parallels from Peter Pan were amazing! Especially when Hook couldn't defeat Peter despite him being a boy, Voldemort probably remembered that when he was in that vapour form after being beaten by Harry! And she tells him Peter flies without a broom! And how he stays young forever and doesn't die!
Though he did make a horcux (or more) before that. Does Keedie realize what she's doing???
So that's why Melena was acting that way. Though I can't see what she sees in Greg.
The memories were awesome as usual. They once again showed how similar their childhoods were.
Can't wait for the next chapter!

I just realized! I never before considered the possibility that Keedie could be a ghost! She did have unfinished business!

If Riddle wiped away Gregor's memories of Keedie, how did Adrian know about her? And also, is Adrian Melena'a son too?
By the way, sorry we all accused you of lying and covering up and trying to trick us! You were right when you said 'by that time, Voldy's mind will be open to hallucinations, etc'.

I like the Nagini-Voldy conversation! I've always felt Nagini was a very interesting character and that we should have seen more of her in the books. I imagined her as Voldemort's confidante, someone who he could tell anything to. And of course she was a Horcrux.
Remember how she was in Bathilda's body in DH?
By the way, how long is the epilogue? 30,000 words?!!

By the way, I didn't really understand the Keedie phenomenon. Was she a ghost or was she like the imprints in GoF during Priori Incantatem? Could you please explain that?

Author's Response: Bearing in mind that death is being played with quite a bit, she is an imprint returing to brace Tom for death. In my mind, the bridge between the dead and the living is kind of open what with all the out of body experiences people have been having. One shot would be nice. We'll have to see.

So this is the Adrian who's in the Ted/Andromeda fic? I don't get one thing.
You say Bella was meeting someone who is Adrian Holmwood's friend. But from the excerpt, it sounds like Adrian still studies at Hogwarts. So is this like Adrian Jr and maybe Bellatrix met Adrian Sr? (Not that it really matters, lol)
Author's Response: Adrian is grown up in the time of the battle. He went to school with Andromeda and Bellatrix. He became and Auror. He only has a tiny part in the epilogue. :-)

If it's nagging you want, it's nagging you'll get! How about a revew every half-hour begging you to update?! (But even I am not crazy enough to do that!)
Anyways, back to the story; loved EVERYTHING in this chapter!
My thoughts at different points while reading this:
'so that's where Louie came from...'
'how annoying can Melena get, reminds me of Dobby in CoS'
'how does she write this well???'
An E in Charms? She certainly charmed Riddle well enough to get an O!
At this point, PS/SS never happened for me, Tom never killed Harry's parents, didn't make any horcruxes, didn't do any more evil things, how could he?!
Loved the flashback as usual, it's interesting how they came into contact all those times, when they were kids out in the street, in 3rd year, etc, and still don't seem to know each other at all at the start of this story.
Author's Response: Aw, thank you. I'm glad this chapter got up before I left. Mel will be redeemed, but Greg's going down. Your charms comment is genius! As for Tom...well, he's just misunderstood. Did you see he finally managed to say, "I love you!" :)

Okay. I've come to terms with it. And I guess that's where Riddle and Dumbledore's conversation stems from where he asks him not to tell anyone about Keedie.
And the voice with all that concern! It's Voldemort, has to be!
You know what? Lots of MNFF authors were upset about major characters being killed off in DH and so wrote fics where, through some loophole or another, their favourite character became alive again. Could you please do such a one-shot after this fic?
Author's Response: Hahaha! I'd really love to....I'll think about it. Hopefully, the last two chapters will keep people entertained. Our heroine's still holding on by a thread. I'm just scared about how Hayden'll take it. ;)

Anyways, I read the lyrics of Goodbye My Lover. How incredibly sad! You're right, it does fit in really well with MTT. It leaves a sad and hollow feeling inside :(
I'm going to be as depressed as I was when Sirius, Dumbledore, Lupin, Tonks and Fred died :(
(Of course, I really should wait till the next chapter. You're a master of trickery!)

Anyways, I hope Keedie comes to his defense and maybe Greg goes away forever or something. She's probably the only one who could prevent him from killing anybody.

I wish you could do an AU sequel where you change the ending of this one Maybe make Voldemort defeat Harry or better yet, make Harry evil and Riddle good and he and Keedie have to figure out how to stop Lord Potterhead from destroying the world. (wishful thinking)

As for Tom 'going' bad, he already killed Myrtle, his father and grandparents till this point, I think that's 'bad' enough!

So I'm guessing they didn't exactly keep in touch after he started experimenting with darker magic.
I agree with Hayden, it seems like a very possible way for her to die without making it Voldemort who kills her (I mean, how could he?!)
The Flaw in the Plan, huh? I'm just off to read it. Though from what I remember, it starts after Harry comes out from the pensieve and ends with Avada Kedavra, right? So Keedie is probably with Voldemort in The Forbidden Forest. Does she stand and watch Voldemort strike Harry? And she's probably concerned when he faints as well.
Hey, I just realized! It probably looks quite weird to the Death Eaters seeing this woman come out of nowhere and start chatting with the Dark Lord! Though I do remember an excerpt of a conversation between Bellatrix and Rodolphus!
By the way, he's Voldemort again now! No more Riddle. The excerpts from the epilogue and from chapter 27 have done that!
