I really liked this, I'd love to see it continued, see them work through their problems, or perhaps read Ginny accounting to Harry what actually happened and why she took the dark mark. Who was the cloaked figure Harry hexed? Did Ginny have a realtionship with Malfoy? Did they threaten her family, is that why she joined? Anyway, this was full of some excellent descriptions and feelings, I hope you do decide to follow it up.

Croaker by The Savant

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: A day in the life of Edmund Croaker, Unspeakable extraordinaire!

I found it hard to take any of this seriously, it was very very funny.

Enchanting by GwendolynJames

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: She stands up to those who would tear her down. She laughs when others would cry. She sings when the rest of the world screams in anguish.

I'll take a guess at the girl being Luna. I really hope it's Luna, she's a wonderful character and this sums her up perfectly. I really enjoyed the fic being from the sorting hat's point of view, he's always fascinated me. I say he because well, he was Gryffindore's hat. Anyway, an excellent piece.

Charlie by pumpkinjuice

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Hermione, frustrated by her increasingly unsupportive friends, seeks refuge in the school library one evening. Little does she know that what (or more specifically, who) she will find that night will change her life forever... Please review! 1st fanfic!

Oh great! I swear Hermione's mental! Lets go off alone in the dark with a strange ghost without telling anyone. I hope Crookshanks gets her help or something. And what are all those odd objects hidden in that tree for? He reminds me of Voldemort, collecting trophies, are those things that once belonged to people he killed or something? I've seriously got the creeps now. Please update soon, although I can't decide if I wouldn't prefer Hermione to stay exactly where she is than have her attacked by Charlie. And this Charlie winters is no ordinary ghost, he has colour. Wonder if he has something to do with the chamber of secrets, that was fifty years ago too. Anyway, don't keep me in suspence too long.

Addicted by Lady Wolf

Rated:
Summary: Skeletons in the proverbial closet? Hidden talents that drive one mad? Obsessive compulsive behavior? All this and more can be found within this trilogy of insanity. Characters admit their addictions and, for the most part, have nothing to be ashamed about.

That is one of the most surreal things I've ever read. Your humour is similar to my brothers, is there something you wanna tell me? I think Ron and maybe Colin and Ginny were the only characters not OOC here. But I think Prof McGonagall was my favourite, always thought there was more to her. Utterly nonesensical but very funny.

Define Love by Lishkish

Rated:
Summary: Lily Evans deals with a sixth year at Hogwarts, and a first year as Head Girl. To her frustration, the Head Boy is none other than James Potter. As the year progresses, they fight many evils, Malfoy, tryouts for the Huddersfield Hurricanes Quidditch team, and their growing affection for each other. Some mentions of SC but nothing over PG-13. PLEASE R&R!

I'm not going to review, I want Sirius to come and sing to me.

All in the Timing by winkysfree

Rated:
Summary: Emily Gardner's life was at best uneventful and at worst slower than a tourtise enjoying a day at the beach. Until, through a series of near fatal events, she falls under the care of the mauraders.Soon, all of their lives become just a tad more interesting. But then again, when you put a frightened rat, a failed Don Juan, a chivalrous werewolf, a handsome bastard, and an aspiring actress with a talent for sticking her nose in places where it doesn't belong together in one dormitory...interesting becomes an understatement. (rated for mild swearing and some sexual inuendo latter on)

I was so relieved when I saw that the entire story was here, I detest waiting for updates, impatient person that i am. I absolutely loved this fic, and I'm so glad Remus got a leading role, he's so often left on the edge of things. The scene in Dumbledore's office was so funny, glad she's staying, and I really hope you write a swquel because I'd love to know how her catching up goes. Wonder if Dumbledore gives her special permission to use magic in the holidays so the marauders can teach her some of what she's missed out on. Maybe Lily could help, they could be friends. I doubt if she'd catch up seven years of work in one year, shame, she'd end up without them after next year. I never like to think too far ahead in marauder fics because the fate of the Potters looms, maybe Emily could change that, interfere in some way, convince Peter or warn the others or something. Sorry, I'm getting carried away, but thanks for the fic and hope you write a follow up.

Cooking Adventures with Elysia by Elysia_Snape

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: COMPLETE - This is about a cooking show called 'Cooking Adventures with Elysia' and in this episode, Elysia, the host, has a very special guest......SEVERUS SNAPE. Comedy. Very funny. P.S This is a real recipe!
Reviewer: Binka Fudge Signed
Date: 04/29/08 Title: Chapter 1: One Shot

Hilariously funny! Think I'll try the recipe too. She's not in some way related to Dumbledore is she, lemon drops were mentioned. This would make a great series, perhaps she could get Lockhart on as a guest, having after this episode decided that prerecorded shows were safer?

A Push in the Right Direction by Weasley Mom

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: It's the summer between Harry's 5th and 6th year and he is not dealing with the loss of Sirius. Perhaps all he needs is a little push from beyond the veil.

This is so hilarious! Odd considering the impending threat of Voldemort. James Lily and Sirius work well together, and even Remus who was supposed to be the well behaved marauder had a little mischievous glint in his eye. The comments about pranking Snape and haunting Peter were so funny too. Do you suppose Sirius regained his full marauder personality after meeting James on the other side, he seemed to have lost it a bit after Azkaban. Anyway, I'm off to press NEXT, see ya'

What a beautiful ending, I had a warm bursting feeling when i read the marauder's messages. Hope you keep writing. thanks...

Azkaban Dreams by Terri

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Time is heavy burden in a place like Azkaban Prison, especially for a man wrongly accused of the death of his best friends. All Sirius has are his dreams of what might have been...

Date: 02/02/08 Title: Chapter 1: Harry's 11th Birthday

I loved this fic right up until the last paragraph, it must have been so shattering to find out it was a dream. Really well written, and it was nice to get a glimpse of what Harry's life would've been like if Sirius hadn't gone to Azkaban.

As the World Falls Down by Deia

Rated:
Summary: As the final battle is approaching, a new prophecy is made. Would you go against it for love?
Reviewer: Binka Fudge Signed
Date: 01/28/08 Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 9

Wow, what a situation. It does sort of make sense though doesn't it? How Hermione is such a powerful witch. I'm hoping the four of them put their heads together and find a way out, a loophole in the prophecy. Anyway, Dumbledore said himself that Professor Trelawney's prophecy about Harry was only proven true because Voldemort acted upon it. Not all prophecies are fulfilled. If Voldemort hadn't heard that their would be a child who'd have power enough to destroy him, he wouldn't have gone after Harry, marked him and set the whole sequence of events in motion like a line of dominos. I think they should all just ignore the prophecy and get on with their lives. And I really hope Harry and Ginny get together too. Can't wait to read on about how things went with Hermione and Minerva.

Descent by Seren

Rated: Professors •
Summary: His happiness nourishes me. He surrounds me, swallows me, tears me apart and puts me back together, and makes me feel more alive. He is my fire. I am his, to the last breath. Nothing exists without her. She is my infatuation, my fetish, my fixation, and my drive. I cannot let anyone else have her. Harry and Hermione slowly descend.

A Simple Suggestion (With Dishonorable Intent) by Mary

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Hermione pitches an idea to a reluctant Severus, but her motivations aren’t completely innocent. He IS a tall, dark, and brooding Potions Master, after all. Prequel to Painfullly Obvious.
Reviewer: Binka Fudge Signed

I thought this was hilarious! I loved how Hermione kept outsmarting Snape with every retort. I was a bit dubeous when I saw it would all be dialogue, I'd never read anything like that before, but in some ways I enjoyed it more than I would if it was full of cold glares, confident smiles and thoughtful pauses. One Blue Line by blondebouncingferret

I've laughed out loud about five times while reading this, it was so hilarious! And you've really kept the characters IC.

But I Do Love You by iheartyou

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: It's Lily's last year at Hogwarts, and she's determined to make it the best. But with Voldemort taking over everywhere, people are becoming distraught and friendships are breaking. Not to mention a certain someone just won't seem to give up on her. It seems like Lily just can't catch a break, and her friends and family are in danger...

It's so true to life, how they're getting back to some normality and then someone else is attacked. Just when you think your biggest problem is that you might be falling in love with James Potter. That last part was chilling. Excellent writing.

Reviewer: Binka Fudge Signed
Date: 03/04/08 Title: Chapter 8: Pure-blood Prejudice

I seem to be channeling some of Lily's anger at present. Why on earth would Remus be the one attacking people? I mean where's the motive for crying out loud! This is just like Fudge suggesting Madam Maxim was responsible for Mr Crouch's disappearance. Ruddy ministry, always after the quickest solution despite being so far from the truth it's fictional. Loved the eavesdropping, Shame Lily couldn't've hexed that idiot though, but I suppose Remus appreciated the sentiment all the same.

That Quidditch game was absolutely brilliant! I was on the edge of my seat reading it. And James reprimanding his seeker for lack of attention made it all very real. I liked the reasons for James switching to Chaser too, very funny. Nice how you got a few well known names on the team, it must've been so. And staying at school for Christmas should be something every Hogwarts student should do at least once, Christmas there sounds fantastic.

I loved this chapter. Lily decided to nick the mistletoe so James couldn't ask her out but instead she uses it to ask him out, well sort of. Anyway, great chapter, more upbeat than recent ones. I sort of guessed Raven and Sirius secretly liked one another, i mean they're more like James and Lily than I'm sure they'd care to admit.

Aww, more fluff, it beats all the dark stuff. Hope someone discovers the attacker soon so the rest of the year can be completely fluff.
