Trebble Aww! I loved this. It's so nice when you can open up to someone when others aren't around to tease and make comments. And i like how they had simple food, I can't get along with all that fancy stuff. Another excellent chapter.
That was so awful, I know the story wouldn't be real without a little darkness, but it was still so awful. You'd think Professor McGonagall would ask Lily to come too being head girl and Raven's best friend, for comfort, but i suppose you never know how someone will take such news. And the other girl, Natalie is it? Will she be sent back to Hogwarts? And what of the little bird? Is it an animagus? The red eyes are suspicious.
I love the extra secrets of the marauders map, but in what way does it help, can you see what the person is doing as well as where they are? And the bird Blizzard seems a little protective of Lily now he's claimed her, or is it that he senses James love of quidditch? Also, Sirius has the worst timing ever, first he interupts their kiss before christmas break and now he interupts Lily when she's going to tell James about Raven's parents. Surely the head boy and girl should've been called to the headmasters office and told about the attacks, as they surely relate to those in the school and at the very least they'd need to know so they could look out for the affected students. I like the switching points of view, gives you more creative room, you can also put two reactions to a situation in if you cannot decide which you prefer.
I'm guessing the others won't quite understand why Raven omitted to tell them of her parents murder, but I'm thinking it's a sort of denial, she can act normally around those who don't know and pretend it hasn't happened, and sympathy just makes people want to sob anyway and she's not that kind really.
It was weird when James was following Lily in the snow, it was scarey for her but because we know about the cloak it was funny too when she hexed him. What does Raven think she'll achieve that the aurors won't? besides getting herself killed that is. I hope Lily goes straight to Dumbledore and they find her before the death eaters do.
I'm hoping it's not full moon or anything and Remus has forgotten because of Raven, it'd be dreadful. I like the passage behind the mirror being used, and the upward sloping passage that leads to the fourth floor from the seventh, but nothing in Hogwarts should make sense really. It's a shame the marauders couldn't conjure a firemans pole, although i guess they don't know what one is. Why Dumbledore would think they're still in the castle is beyond me, perhaps he was just trying to give Professor McGonagall something to do to keep her out of harms way too.
I love that there's an apparating point somewhere in Hogwarts, but what if a death eater knew about it? Pettigrew! he knows about it surely, being a marauder, well of sorts. Although that passage being caved in prevents anyone unwanted getting through in the books. This story fits so well with JKR's. Hope Sirius remembers to transform into a dog before entering the shack, because if Remus is there... And why didn't James carry his cloak everywhere? Anyway, didn't he have it on him, he was wearing it when he followed Lily in the snow. They could've just hidden under that in the alley. I really hope Raven's OK.
Oh God! I feel so sick! What's James going to do, thought he'd transform before going inside, is he mental? And he left Lily in the cold, couldn't he cast a warming spell or something she'll get hypothermia! And if Remus could get through a door inside the house, why can't he get out of the house itself? is it charmed? Are there no spells that work against a werewolf? Oh God Oh God Oh God...
I hope Remus calms down now the humans are gone and that Sirius is OK. I think James will be able to win Lily back by just showing her he's an animagus, then she'll understand that he could handle a werewolf and only stunned her because he loved her so much. I say this with hope.
Annabella was a bit shifty i must admit, don't know whether to believe her or not, i'd like to think the's on the right side but i'm paranoid now too. Hope Lily and James make up in the next chapter, i hate when they're fighting, it takes their attention away from important things like the attacks.

I loved how Lily imagined Filch's face on the trophy she'd been scrubbing, excellent idea. I notice you've not updated for a very long time, so I'm on my knees begging you to finish this fic, even though you've left it at a very nice spot, and however much I'd like Lily and James to stay where they are forever so they never met with fate, I'd still like to know whether they cleared up the attacks and if Sirius and Raven start going out. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE update soon.

This was so funny, you actually made patroling intersting. My favourite line though was about Lily doing what every Gryffindore does in a tight spot, lie. And it's all the more funny because it's so true.
Such a full chapter, lots of fun but that last bit was chilling! Snape's a git! And Raven and Sirius, what a predicament. I like James, bet Lily would miss him if he gave up on her.
I really hate Gary. What a git! Thought it might be him doing the attacks, because Lily broke up with him and she's muggle born, but guess i watch too many cheap murder mysteries.
Dumbledore's really putting in a lot of effort when it comes to making sure his head boy and girl work closely isn't he? And you did a great job of writing Hagrid, he's one of my favourites too.
I've not reviewed yet because I couldn't stop reading, just thought I'd say that Harry's mental! Why on earth would he tell Lucius Malfoy of all people that he was in love with Ginny, this can only mean trouble. Oh, there's another possibility as to the break-up he doesn't remember, maybe he was imperiused and then given forgetfullness potion or something. Not likely I grant you, but where was he when the imposter broke it off with Ginny? You'd think he'd be by her side every spare minute, somethings not right. If it was Malfoy, perhaps his father put him up to it so as to weaken Harry. I had another thought, maybe someone faked it to give everyone the impression that they'd broken up so the pressure would be off. After all, why would the death eaters want Ginny if Harry didn't care about her? I wondered if it was Ron and Hermione, for they aren't really talking to Harry, but then I thought of Dumbledore, and/or Ginny's parents.

I just don't get it! Infront of Dumbledore it's 'you and me against the world', but five minutes later they've broken up again?! OOO I could just bang their heads together. Hope they get back together and don't break up anymore, it's so draining getting annoyed. Some people say a few arguements at the beginning of a relationship makes it stronger because you know each others boundaries and how far to push them, I don't know.
I have a really bad feeling that there's more than one spell at work in this chapter, that remissio spells a bit odd though, a little like the imperious curse. Anyway, it seems like Ginny and Harry are blowing hot and cold randomly and it occurred to me that Malfoy put a hate spell on them ore something, but it doesn't work properly because they're so in love. It's a bit, well a lot worrying. Right, being a lover of the Twins antics I'm off to the next chapter.
