Hey! My name is Chris. I'm sixteen years old, a Sophomore in High School once it starts, and I love to run. Harry Potter is probably my favorite book series ever, and I love writing fanfiction when I get the time. (Which unfortunately isn't very often and when I do it's in a notebook, not on here.)
I used to be more into humor fics, but I'm starting to read L/J more. I read Marauder Era fics a lot, too. I'm obsessed with the Marauders and Lily Evans. I loved the Phoenix movie, but I could still make a very long list of things I didn't like about it. I was crushed that they cut out Snape's Worst Memory, but then again, if they wouldn't have I would have been more dissappointed that Sirius and James weren't cute.
I love my friends. I can trust several of them with just about anything. I trust them more than it is probably a good idea to trust most people. They could blackmail me if they wanted to. Luckily, they don't. I really appreciate how comfortable some of my guy friends and I are. They'll lean over and whisper "she's hot!" without a second thought about it. I really appreciate it when their next comment is "but her skirt is too short." They resect me, and vise-versa. I know they'd respect me enough to tell me if MY shorts were a little too short.
As far as boks, other than HP, I love, love, LOVE the Left Behind and Left Behind serieses. They're the awesomest ever :) I'm always reading something, but that's my thing right now :)
My favorite Movie (debaitably) after the Phoenix and GoF would have to be the Pirates of the Carribean (The Black Pearl). The second one was great and I totally loved it, but the 1st was just better. Also, Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom... They are amazing. Haha.
I love Contemporary Christian and Country music. Casting Crowns is with no doubt my favorite band in the history of the universe, and Jeremy Camp is a close second.
I've gotta live in the smallest town in Ohio, and our K-12 school is really little. This year I'm running track and cross country again. CC is the awesomest sport ever in the history of awesome sports. I love how close we all are on the team.
I play trumpet in the marching band and I'm in the Science Olympiad, which pretty much makes me the biggest geek ever, but I'm okay with that. At least most of my friends are on the teams.
Random fact about me- I spelled my name wrong on the morning of the spelling bee last year.
BOOKS & MOVIES
Did you cry when Sirius died? Almost. I had a huge bloody blister looking thing on my lip from chewing on it and it wouldn't go away for a couple weeks.
What about Dumbledore? I was devastated. Ditto the lip thing that nobody wanted to know.
Do you like the movies as much as the books? No, but I loved the GoF and Phoenix movies.
Hottest HP actor? Tom Felton and Robert Pattinson.
What scene did they leave out in the movie you wish they hadn't? I can never decide if I wanted them to cut Snape's Worst Memory or not becuase it's my favorite scene in book 5 and maybe even in the first 6 books, but I havent sen it yet (anxious for the DVD to come out!), so I can't make that call yet. **My DVD doesn't have special features... does anyone else's??
Favorite movie moment? Hermione just being annoying in the 1st one. Or Ron just being an idiot. That's always fun :) Then maybe after the 2nd task in the Gof. Hermione was really funny there, too :)
Least favorite movie moment? Whenever Dumbledore is there after the first 2 movies. It's not just a differant actor, they made him a hippie. Gag me. I mean, he has jingle bells in his beard, and you can hear them when he talks.
Favorite character in movie? Today it is Alan Rickman as Snape. (That might change tomorrow, I can never decide.) I'm a little nervous about him in the DH movie though. I just can't picture him in (spoiler!) his death scene ("Look at me") or sobbing in Dumbledore's office, devistated over Lily's death. I hope he'll suprise me and pull it off wonderfully. :)
Favorite Movie? Mmmmm... I'd have to say Phoenix. I loved it so much :)
Right now, I'm writing my 1st fic- "Hard to Find, Difficult to Leave, Impossible to Forget". I suprized myself by writing a romance fic (It's L/J). I never do stuff like that. I'm such a tomboy. :) It took me ages to finally be satisfied with the way my 1st chapter ended up, but I'm getting there. My life is incredibly hectic, but it's summer, so my schedule is slowed down a little. I'll try to type up the rest of it quicker than I have been :) Oh, and thank you to my wonderful beta, Emily. It is ambitious Lily Evans' 7th and final year at Hogwarts. She is very excited about being one step closer to becoming an Auror and thrilled about being back to school altogether.
But there is one little annoyance: the Marauders. Specificially arrogant James Potter. He has been pestering her to go out with him, but she has coldly denied his wishes. She thinks this year will be no different to the past six school years.
But life is full of mistakes.
..::~!~::.."Just one minute.” Lily noticed footsteps heading in her direction. She saw a hand reach from between the screens and drop a flower onto her bedside table.
“Mr. Potter! Return to your dormitory immediately!”
“Alright, alright…” The hand disappeared.
Once Lily was sure that no one was in the wing, he lifted her head and saw what flower Potter had dropped.
Lily stuffed her head in her pillow and screamed a muffled scream that no one could hear.
I love how these two are so awkward with each other. They're both so scared to say something stupid. It's pretty much adorable :)

James almost killed himself. Did he really just say that? He was having an actual conversation with Lily without her shouting at him, when he had to just blurt out that touchy little line." Aaaw. He's so scared to sound dumb... It's so realistic :)
I love Quidditch :)

Aaaw, I've always loved Remus, and it's tough to see him with someone besides Tonks, but I'm happy with the way you're doing it :)
I like the way you've had Peter get gradually more and more annoying... Because I really hate him. Nice chapter :)
It's sad to see how cold Lily is with Snape here (since the DH came out). :( It's always a shame to see friendships go so terribly.
James was being pretty harsh with Peter consitering that he and Lily totally trusted him with their lives later...
Professor Madres is pretty creepy... I don't really understand the stereotype of Potions teachers being creepu and Slytherins. :P
Hey hey hey. Back off on Snape. I've grown to love his character even though I absolutly hate everything about him.
Well written chapter. You're really good at capturing the characters' personalities. I really love to see how you have them react to one another and everything around them. I like how protective you have James being of Lily. It's very sweet.
And I liked how Sirius is counting the number of times that James has asked Lily out. That made me smile. :)
Aw, I really liked how Sirius stepped in to defend Lily, then Maya. It makes him easier to respect. That was a great way to show that he cares that much about the people around him, even though he's so light and casual with them most of the time.
"'Holy smokes!' Sirius shouted." Haha. That boy...
“'My God, James. Are you O.K.' Remus bent down next to Lily." Try writing out "okay." It tends to flow better.
I loved Dumbledore's "Next time, I would recommended valuing your life about a piece of wood, Mr. Potter."
I miss Remus, he hasn't been around much :)

Hum, Hermione got her apperating license in her 6th year, and Harry will before his 7th year. Sorry, am I being nit-picky? Well, anyhow, this is a pretty good fic, I enjoyed it.
Author's Response: I wasn't pin-pointing the time that they recieved their licenses, it was more of Hermione's way of reminding Harry that they could still be together regardless of distance.

Eh, I hate it when I enjoy romantic fics. I am basically a non-shipper, and try not to get involved with future romantic intrests. I am stubborn, so when I decide on something, I rarely go back. So I'm technically not a H/Hr shipper. That way I can't get into heated debaits. So why do I always go back and read H/Hr romance fics?
Anyway, I am really enjoying this. And I'm glad Ron wasn't hurt, or feeling shoved aside with Harry and Hermione being in love with each- other.
This is awesome, 'cuz, no mtter how much I strongly disagree with G/D, I keep going back to this fic to find out what'll happen next.
I have to give this story a 10!
(But Hermione died? *sob*)

THIS WAS SOOOO AWESOME!!!!! Actually, this was one of the first fics I ever read :) Not that I'm a H/Hr shipper. Would you strangle me if I told you that I used to read these just to laugh at how shippers bended everything to make it fit what they WANT to happen? Well, I did. And even though I don't like H/Hr at all, this was great!!! I seldom run across a GOOD H/Hr fic... and this was GREAT. Even though I hate fluff, I'm giving this story a 10. It was awesome how the characters progressed throughout the story. I loved it!!! Thanks SOOOO much for writing this!! I'm going to go see if you have written anything else :)
