This is an incredible analysis of the characters. The descriptions you gave for Ron gave me goosebumps, especially the 'unknown soldier' reference. And I agree with you, Ron and Harry are the everyday heros, because they act from their hearts.
That's just so unfair! Cutting an epilogue in half! and I thought the cliff hangers were over with! Anyway, great chapter and I can't wait to see how the wedding turns out!
Bravo! Smashing! Simply wonderful! I like how Ginny's destiny was behind her, and then Harry runs to catch up with her! :) And who do the bands belong to? I'm dying of curiosity! Can't wait for the sequel!
Author's Response: Ahhh...well...the rings are a bit of a mythological throwback. I'm going to write an Afterword for HPDL that will explain all the mythological and location references. The previous owner of those rings will be explained in there. Some eagle-eyed readers will already have deduced who they belonged to by Maeve's vision in the chapel and by Lugh's explanation. And I'm not really a shipper, but I can't deny the Harry/Ginny vibe that's going on! It seemed fitting.
This story was quite amusing. I liked that you included Peter in the story- so many people chose to ignore him completely. Although I don't see his friends as the type to constantly remind him of being fat. Granted, he was stuck in the pipe, but I felt that it was uncalled for. But really the idea of him hiding in a sink and getting stuck was quite unique.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I don\'t really see the Marauders as the type to remind Peter of his weight problem either, but well . . . it WAS kinda the reason he was stuck in the pipe in the first place, and Sirius isn\'t precisely the mosttactful person in the world, either. But, yeah, thanks! Cheers! --- Loki
he he he, I liked the last line there. This was a rather amusing story- one of the better humor stories out there. So many are utterly rediculous in their characterization and plotlines. I felt like the characterization was well done, and the plot plausible. Good job!
Hysterical! I laugh so hard whenever I read your story. I can't wait for the last chapter *sigh* even if it is the last one.
My roommate keeps shooting me evil looks from across our bedroom. Aparently she does not appreciate my hysterical laughter and the arcid smell of wet pants! Love your story and hope the next chapter is posted soon!
Excellent! I'm working right now and the kids in my program keep yelling at me to stop laughing! I especially like how you ended this with McGonagall giving the letter to Harry, and then him and Ron adding more stuff to it. Of course the intent wasn't the same with our favorite threesome, but the rule breaking tradition continues!
Excellent! I'm at work right now, and the kids in my program keep yelling at me to stop laughing. I love how you ended this with McGonagall giving the letter to Harry to cheer him up.
I simply adore how you've mixed our favorite characters into a beloved fairy tale! Update soon!!!
Simply adorable! Definately not too rushed, we all know how the story goes anyway. I can't wait for the epilouge!
A very sweet ending to a lovely twist on our favorite fairy tale! Kudos to you!
Ha ha ha! I started reading this tonight and just kept on going. Made it through the first 10 already! And then I looked at the summary. You started this exactly one year ago today! So happy anniversary to you! I'm really enjoying this story and look forward to another good long reading sesson soon!
BRAVO!!! I was so excited when I found that this had been updated today! Here's to Harry and Ginny! (Even if he pulled a Spiderman!) Anyway, and excellent chapter, this story was one of the first I ever read and I'm so happy you're plugging away at it again! Hope ch 14 comes soon!!!
OH MY GOD! That was one of the best things I've ever read! I cried through the whole thing, from Harry's letter, to Harry's defeat of Voldemort, and then to his retreat! Oh I can't wait to see his reactions once he sees his daughter!
This was a WONDERFUL ending to his story. I loved that Petunia put Harry in his place, even though I hate her. The conversation between Harry and Remus was so eye-opening. I think they both really needed that. And Yeah!!! Remus and Tonks!! I also love the image of Harry at the end there holding his daughter while she slept. The idea is making me tear up! Thank you so much for pushing through and finishing the story. This was one of the first stories I read when I first fell into fanfiction. It is amazing and I'm so glad I've gotten to see it progress. I may not have always been patient in waiting for the next chapter, butit was ALWAYS worth the wait! You are an amazing writter and I hope to see more of your work!
Author's Response: Thank-you! I'm so glad you stuck with me, I know I've been awfully slow in updating! *blushes*
As for Tonks... Well for my other readers... that changed in deference to a good friend's ship preference ;)
Happened along your story today. Was very depressed when I realized I had finished it so quickly! Keep the updates coming.
Author's Response: Don't be too depressed! Chapter 12 is on it's way! I'm so glad to have another new reader aboard, welcome and thak-you for reviewing!
I'm simply dying for the next chapter!!!
Author's Response: Ach! I am sorry, but it will still be a bit longer. Until we lose a couple of prints of Star Wars at work (I'm a projectionist), I'll still be working late nights and not have much time for writing. I must also confess that what writing I have done has gone into my other two projects. Please don't worry, though, it won't be much longer before I get back to this one. It's just that taking a step away from it between chapters has really been helping me put together better chapters. So, I hope y'all can be patient with me. It won't be months, just another couple of weeks.
uhhhh.... My head is still spinning from this twisted tale. I love that you implemented so many of the chiched theories out there, that made the story rather amusing. Dudly is Peter's love child huh? hmmm...
I have to say, that I'm not much of a peotry fan, but this really made me smile. So the fact that I read yours through is a huge compliment! I liked your use of muli-versed quatrains. The language was simple and easily understood but you picked good verbs/adjectives to convey your meaning. I appreciated the fact that it was humorous. Overall I found it very enjoyable. Good work!
