This place has really, really gone downhill since I worked here as a mod. Since I have re-entered the fanfiction community, I have seen nothing but sloppy work and poor excuses on this site.

Summary: Giving high school essays a Marauder twist, this fiction is centered around the idea that some seniors in high school are require to write a letter to incoming freshman before they graduate. At Hogwarts, Seventh Years are given an assignment to write such a letter for the new First Years. Sirius decides to actually take an assignment, well seriously...sort of. He decides to look back on his entire Hogwarts years and write down his list of things not to do at Hogwarts.

Well, wow...I've just finished your story and there is so much to say... First of all, it is extremely well-written. The plot flows easily, and the dialogue is believable even if it is quite a ways off from canon! :) As you know, I'm an H/G shipper too, but this is not a direction I would have taken. When you told me what this was to be about, I was skeptical. I am pleased to say that I enjoyed it immensely, am adding you to my favorites, and am eagerly awaiting chapter 13!

This is some of the best fanfic I have ever read. I stumbled upon you only three days ago, and have been spending all of my son's naptimes reading Power of Emotion and Curse of the Damned (my housework has definitely taken a turn for the worse)! I can't wait for chapter 21!

This was a very sweet piece, and I like that it is only now that they are letting their relationship rekindle - only now, when it could be the beginning of everything or the end of it all. Ginny is very wise and yet stays in character. I enjoyed the way you dealt with some of the issues - Horcrux destruction, the removal of the piece of Voldemort's soul within Harry - via flashbacks.
All in all, a satisfying read. Great job as usual!
