I'm a Miss, no Mrs, that has always loved to write but never had the courage to do so. Muggle Net Fan Fiction gave me a bit of courage to finally actually write something. So please let me know what you think so my stories can grow.
My real name is Martine. I'm a 23 year old Cultural Studies student from the Netherlands. I hope to graduate soon but at the moment all I do is read and write fanfiction.
Besides reading and writing anything that has to do with the world of HP (believe me when I say that I don't shut up about it until you have at least read the books) I also love reading other stuff. Anything from SF like Dune (classic) to the Great Tragedies of Shakespeare (even more classics). From Kama Sutra (the original Indian texts) to Western fiction on Chinese women (hopefully the subject of my final thesis).
But I also have to breath in some fresh air now and again so twice a week I get up and go out to climb. Well actually I climb inside but whenever the weather allows you can find me hanging on the rocks. To top this love for climbing of I will also be on the board of the climbing association here in Maastricht for the next year.
Other than that it is movies, music, travelling, swimming, hanging out with friends, my boyfriend or family (not necessarily in that order) that keeps me going.
The stories that keep me going until HBP comes out, are mostly about Severus Snape. In the books my favorite character is Hermione (I simply adore intelligent people) but Alan Rickman has always been one of my favorite actors. And well Alan simply plays the ultimate Severus for me. I can't help it, that man simply oozes blackness and bad boy and the only thing I want to do is drown in it.
This doesn't mean I can't enjoy other stories, though I do tend to stick to the romance. I will also leave you a review, when I read something of yours and hopefully you will one when you read something of mine.
At the moment I only have one story online. A little fluff thing about Hermione and Snape (did you see that one coming?) I'm also writing a story about Draco and Hermione which is more angsty but has the potential to become a ship. Not sure on that one yet, but I'll probably start putting it online soon.

Normally I don't read humor fics, being the romantic type that I am. Your other fic got me interested, since I am a Snape addict. I must say the best ship I ever saw. :)

It's almost like a game, who has the nerves, who has the courage. It would seem obvious, but you make it teasing, wanting more and more. Looking forward to there first get together. I assume the next potions class.

Interesting ending, though i doubt Severus would ever stay after death, even for love.
Definitely very different from my own, but as promised, my review. I guess I'm usually interested in the Dark Side, but then again mostly then men that are on the Dark Side. This little story leaves me wondering, however, if I should perhaps pay more attention to the women. I wonder why she would let McGonagall in so easily.

Okay, I read it again, now I can talk. Sigh. What is there to say? They don't fight like equals but somehow they are. Just as stubborn, just as intelligent, just as tempting. All I want to know is the rest of this story.

I love where this story is going, and especially how you let Snape be Snape and not embrace her back. You couldn't have written a nastier last line thouh.

Complaining aside, I agree that the past that scarred and twisted Severus is the draw that pulls us to him. I also think that even a long-lived wizard could develop a few strands of silver after defeating the Dark Lord! Thank you so much for the R&R!

I knew I would like this story when I read the first chapter. I love to see Hermione be so emotional and strong. Even with Snape boring his eyes into her she stands her ground. I would propably kiss him if he stood before me like that. I wouldn't be able to do anything else.
Author's Response: I think that Hermione is, after all, a woman, even if she is a very intelligent one. I also don't see her taking much guff from anybody. I do think it costs her a lot to stand her ground with Snape, because she wants to kiss him too -- but she is both stubborn and proud!

You wrote this a long time ago, but wanted to point out a small thing. You say Hermione is 16 here (when working on George) but she's 17, nearly 18 here.
