Summary: All her life Ginny has tried to live up to the expectations set by those around her, and more importantly herself. When Harry breaks up with her Ginny thinks she realises what she must do to acheive this perfection but this soon turns into an obsession she can't escape.

Warning: The main focus of this Story is on the effects of an eating disorder, if you get easily upset by such issues I suggest you dont read.

Wow. This story is absolutely amazing. And terrifying. I've never really thought about the extremes people go to for beauty. Wouldn't it be nice if people could just love themselves for whatever they are, not just what they look like?

I thought that Ginny was very in character, which sort of amazed me, because when I first read the summary, I thought, 'oh Ginny will probably be all weepy and annoying', but it really surprised me. Brilliantly written!

Author's Response: It would indeed be lovely if everyone was happy within their own skin without worrying what others thought of them, but I can\'t see it happening any time soon. Society is too focused on appearence to have it change around so drastically. But you\'d be suprised how far some people will actually go to make themselves \'perfect\' if you did some digging. Ginny\'s actions here would seem almost normal.
I\'m glad you think Ginny is in character, she is my favourite in the Harry Potter series and I want to do her justice, especially as I\'m putting her through hell...

That was... just wow. It was really well written. I thought that the characterization was great, ecspecially about Tonks being scared to live if everyone else died. I like how she wasn't lying and saying that she wished that she'd been able to stay. How she was jsu tbeing honest and getting to the point. It was really touching.

Summary: Fifteen year old Emma Lovett hates Regulus Black. He's an arrogant jerk with an ego the size of Asia. Or at least, he was. When Emma starts her fifth year at Hogwarts, Regulus' behavior seems to have changed a bit. She begins to think that Regulus might not be so bad. Of course, no one but her diary ever needs to know what she thinks.

It's five years after Emma Weasley and her chums graduated from Hogwarts. Ted and Ivy are married, Haley is working at Madame Puddifoot's while trying desperately to break into show business, Jordan's doing whatever it is he does, and Emma is an Auror trainee working as a guard at the Chudley Cannons' stadium. The Cannons have actually been doing much better lately, due to their new star Beater, Tyrone Thomas. Unfortunately, Tyrone is Emma's ex-boyfriend. OH, THE AWKWARDNESS.

Follow Emma through her awkward adventures told in her usual insane way, as she experiences angst, hilarity, obnoxiously strange people, misadventures involving a deceptively dashing cad, Haley's wedding, the birth of Ted and Ivy's baby, and her own eventual descent into LURRRVE.

Written for the marvellous Vindictus Viridian's Pride and Prejudice NEWTs class on the Fanfiction Beta Boards, based on Jane Austen's fantastic novel, "Pride and Prejudice.".

Nominated in the 2008 Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Non-Canon Romance Story! And its lovely (haha) heroine, Emma Weasley, received two nominations for Best Female Original Character, while Haley Potter and Ivy Potter each received one! Thanks so much, guys!

Wow. This is fairly awesome. Emma's awesome too. Babies kind of scare me. I can't imagine wanting one.... Ecspecially not inside of me.... Or in the same house as me for more than ten minutes.... Poor Ted... I can just picture Remus doing the whole 'who wants some tea?' thing. I'm not sure why, but I like Ted the most of all the characters in this. He's all happy and stuff...

Author's Response: Wow, thanks very much! Yeah, babies are adorable but I don\'t really... want one. I guess that\'s a sign of Emma\'s personal immaturity-- she\'s in a verry different place in her life right then than Haley is. I\'m glad you like Ted... he\'s adorable. If you like him, you\'d probably like the Potter\'s Pentagon trilogy, because Ted plays a much larger role in that. But those books aren\'t as funny as this one.
