Hi and thanks for stopping by!

My story "Soldiers" is now complete! Feel free to contact me if you ever want to know a little more about what happened to Septimus and Cedrella after the story ends.

As for "Meet the Weasleys," I plan to write more. However, it is on hold for now because I don't have as much free time as I would like to spend writing fanfiction, unfortunately. College beckons. :)

Wandless by Wandering Wand

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:

It’s not just any 1st of September. The Philosopher Stone is hidden at Hogwarts, The Boy Who Lived is about to board the Express for the first time. It’s not the best September for something unexpected to happen, for something impossible. Or someone.

This story is not AU, but it focuses on the original character, her plot, her friends, her loves :)

Rating and Warning only for later chapters.

I'm rather hooked on this...

Great story and very suspenseful. I feel so sorry for Cybele! And I like the characterization of Snape...
:)

Author's Response: Thanks! I really appreciate that because characterization of Snape being almost nice is not easy; I'm happy you like it :)

My Troubled Tyrant by Belledeg

Rated: Professors • Past Featured Story
Summary: Keedie Dante has experienced many amazing things during her time at Hogwarts, including the hushed up drama that was the Chamber of Secrets. However, with two overachieving friends and a headmaster who does not even know she exists, Keedie feels that perhaps her seventh year will not be too spectacular. However, Dumbeldore sees her potential as a writer and enrols her in a simple writing course. Here, she meets the mysterious and terrifying Tom Riddle and they instantly get under one another's skin. She is drawn to his dark determination towards some unknown goal and he is fascinated by her, in every way. However, Tom's friends do not approve of Keedie and her unconventional ways and Keedie has many people trying to keep her away from the dark young man as well. Something inside tells Keedie that she can make him better, but even he assures her that this is an impossible task. But she's not one to give up easily...

"He is a dark one, Keedie. Try not to let him consume you entirely."

This story has the characters Albus Dumbledore, Armando Dippet, Moaning Myrtle, Rubeus Hagrid, Aaron Dante, Harry Potter, Ebony Abbott, Minerva McGonagall, Melena Creevey, Ollivander, Gregor Holmwood, Horace Slughorn and, of course, Tom Riddle and Keedie Dante...enjoy!

I really really really really really really like this story so far! You make Tom believable, which I know is impossibly hard.
Thanks for the great read!

WOW. Thats all I can say...
Incredible story, incredible take on old Voldy... I never thought his past explained how he was quite so evil... this makes so much sense and is so heartbreaking.
Thank you for the wonderful story, even if it did make me cry!

Author's Response: Oh, thank you. I'm sorry you cried, but I'm glad you liked it. :D

Once Upon A Time by DaniDM

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Pre-HP Hogwarts-mid-1930's. Elizabett Castlewood, a Hufflepuff raised in a circle of Slytherins, has created a new course for Hogwarts-Muggle Studies. Within the first months at school, she captures the attention of a certain Transfiguration professor.

I'm very interested in this story... the Grindelwald stuff absolutely freaks me out because they BOTH have secrets about him and neither of them know it... I feel like bad things are going to happen when they do find out. I'm quite curious to see how Albus decides to go after Gellert in the end, and what really happens at the duel, presuming thats in the story. :)
Great writing, keep it up!

Author's Response: A new voice! Good to hear from you. I think you'll like this story. It puts a different twist on things. At the moment, it's up to 23 chapters here, but 54 have been written, with a few more to end it. Keep in touch, I'd like to hear what you have to say. Dani

Bludgers and Meteors by lucilla_pauie

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: No candlelit dinner, no getting down on one knee.

This was how it happened instead. During Sunday brunch.

Surrounded by Weasleys and babies, instead of violin notes and posies.

With sniping and bellowing, along with the embraces and kissing.

But it was no less perfect.

I just read this whole story so far straight through and it's wonderful! I like the mix of serious angst and fluffy marauder goodness. Great characterization, and I can't wait for the rest!!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you like the characterization and think it a good mix of angst and fluff :) The next chapter should be up soon!

Oh no!!! Wonderful chapter with a chilling end... POOR Lily!

I think that Grace has something to do with the murders... maybe that is horrible of me, and I do feel sorry for her, but she totally could have put the curse on her boyfriend and some of the things she has said to Lily are suspicious... I also think Regulus might be involved somehow. That would make sense. And Lenore definitely knew something, that's why she was killed.

I love this story, the suspense is killing me! Update soon :)

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! And thanks for sharing your theories -- you'll find out soon enough ;) The suspense is really building, I know, but the next chapter will hopefully be posted soon!

Plan B: Risk scrambling Lucius' brain with a Memory Charm.

this is a cute little companion piece to Our Little Secret, (which is one of my favorite fics on the site).
But why did Lucius agree so easily? He's such a prat most of the time...

Author's Response: I could tell you Lucius is afraid of ending up like another Jason Isaacs character, Hook, "old, alone, done for" :D, but although he truly does value his family and does not want them to move out (or Narcissa to give him hell and hexes about it), the main reason was a very Slytherin one: he who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day.

Scenes from Shell Cottage by WeasleyMom

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: This fic is a series of missing moments from the time H/R&H were at Shell Cottage, beginning immediately after they Disapparated from Malfoy Manor. JKR shows us what was going on with Harry, but this is my version of what could have happened with Ron and Hermione after one of the most emotional/disturbing events in the entire series.

UPDATED June 2010 When I first wrote this fic, I didn't know what a beta reader was, and frankly, it showed. Thanks so much to Natalie for helping me polish this up and make it more readable. Thanks also to both Julia and Carole, whose helpful comments in the review section allowed me to make some much-needed corrections during the rewrite. I would love to know what you think ~ reviews are very much appreciated!

This was nominated in the 2010 Quicksilver Quill Awards for Best Canon Romance.

I really like this story. like everyone has been saying, its so realistic, which I love, especially for Ron/Hermione, which I think one of the hardest ships to write well and one of the best when it is!

I LOVED the line where Hermione tells Ron that she never fancied Harry because he was always next to Ron. Brilliance!
Bravo, and can't wait for more!

Author's Response: Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and that you liked that line too. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a review, too!

Playing It Straight by DeadManSeven

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Cho's last year was going to be different. She was going to focus on school. She was going to play Quidditch. She was not going to get involved with rebellions, or boys. She was not going to be distracted by anything.

And then came Katie Bell.
Reviewer: dominiqueweasley Signed
Date: 02/03/11 Title: Chapter 1: Playing It Straight, Part I

Hi, I'd just like to let you know how much I enjoyed this! I loved the natural way the relationship developed, the realness of the characters, and the way the dialogue and little details showed what was happening much better than plain old exposition. Very well written and well imagined, and I liked too that there wasn't this huge focus on "so are they both lesbians now, or what?" It was just a story about how two people fell in love. Thank you for the read!

Author's Response: Well, thankyou! That was exactly my goal with this story - write something that feels like a real relattionship developing naturally. It's not a very complicated story, but it did let me do a lot of things I like, like write long exchanges of dialogue or put a slightly slantwise twist on a well-explored subject. Same-sex pairing stories aren't exactly uncommon in fanfiction, but finding ones that don't really make a big deal of the characters being homosexual... There's maybe a couple of lines that bring it up, but on the whole it's a subtextual thing: I wanted to focus on Cho and Katie themselves. Playing the romance genre straight, as it were.

But I Could Never Climb Alone by MagEd

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: He knows he shouldn't say it, but there's still a part of him that remembers being fifteen, that remembers thinking it impossible to get Lily Evans to give him a chance, and it's never really been put to rest. "Don't stop loving me," he whispers. "Please, Lily. Don't ever."

He thought the war couldn't become any more unbearable. But, somehow, it does. It probably has something to do with his wife driving off in the middle of the night. (Companion to "You Told Me Once, Dear.")

I love this story (and it's companion) and I think they are both realistic and fascinating. The ending is happy but also somehow sad to me.. and beautiful. I love how you managed to keep Snape in character and yet have him replace Lily in canon... Wonderful job!!

Author's Response: Thanks! The ending is a bit bittersweet :) I'm glad you enjoyed both stories and thought Snape in canon!
