Oblivious by Pallas

Summary: What if there were more to Remus Lupin's bite than a badly timed stroll in the woods? The arrival of a feral invokes secrets of the past and terror for the present...

I can't believe it! Reading your story is so depressing; I could never write so detailed, so gripping, so well-devised, action-packed, thrilling and occasionally funny stories like this. The plot is awesome, the writing even more so! I'll resume reading immediatly!

Remus and Abel; it just came to me: they were both murdered by their brothers. I can't believe it took me 20 chapters to realize. Mainly I wasn't ever reviewing because I just stopped reading, when I had to do other stuff or just was to tired to take in another word. I loved how Reynard's fury nearly (and especially nearly) made him kill the monstrous werewolf. Have to ´resume reading now!!!!!!!

In this (and the one befor last) chapter I finally came across something I didn't like: Snape. Partially his behaviour is really believable, but that his temper would be likely to rise so alarmingly just because Remus hadn't taken his Wolfsbane doze just doesn't suit him. One of Snape's most important traits is his coolness. I think he would rather look foreward to Remus' hard week, than complaining about his lack of responsibility. He also would never, as described in this chapter, resort to any physical treatment (Making no effort to avoid a sharp impact to his colleague’s shoulder,...). That's just beneath him. He would make sure to embaress Remus with a last remark, allow his lip to curl in a triumphant manner and swep past him with a whirl of his cloak! Still, if that is the worst I can find after 26 chapters worth reading, it's definitely all for your story. Just three more chapters to go until I'll at last catch up with your writing btw. :)

I really felt the chill as well as I realized that the real Hagrid was hidden away in that conceiled passageway. And then the werewolf. That was definitely among the very best things I've read so far. Have to go on....

There could be only one werewolf at Hogwarts? Honestly! Just joking, I love it!

WOW! But didn't you say there would be about 40 chapters? This seems like (nearly? please, nearly!) the end though.

On an afterthought. Mad4Siruius, Snape said he could put a stopper to death, which means he could prevent it, but not make it un-done. Didn't Dumbledor in GoF say on the matter of priori incantetem, that there is no spell to un-do death? Sorry, to abate your hope, but that's what Dumbledore said...

If there is a positive meaning of ridiculous, it is your story. :P

Author's Response: Thank you soooo much! Spread the word nation wide :P. My next story "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" has funny moments but is more angsty/romance. It's about Sirius Black, YAY.

I really like your story, but I do think you should point out Dumbledore's earmuff-wearing, sherbert lemon-eating side more. It's his being a bit of an oddball besides being a genius and powerful and wise and loving that makes him so lovable after all. :) PS: Are you intending to add some background information about all the life-savers you hint? PPS:To short...

Really good! I like your story. You've definatly got style. I love to read about life at Hogwarts out of Dumbledore's view as a student. But weren't there supposed to be more Prefects? Two fifth-years get selected every year and stay prefects until leaving school or becoming Head Boy/Girl (How, otherwise, could Cedric Diggory be a seventh-year and still be a prefect?) So there should have been 6 instead of 2 prefects (4 in Gryffindor as those who would be seventh-year prefects are Head Boy and girl) for each house! Sorry to mess it up for you... I really enjoy to read about all those people who appear in the boox later, though. For example that Dumbledore`s sister is about to become an auror and marry a certain Alfred Moody, I loved that. Eagerly awaiting updates!

An Insider's View by CCCC

That was definitely really funny. I'll eventually read the Bellatrix fic as well now. It got me some time to pick up the hint about Fortescue and the Fat Lady, but that was really, really funny too. You are the only person I know, who'd be able to write so acurately out of the pov of a gargoyle. That was a really unique experience. Thanx again for telling me what maroon looks like! ;) Hope the forthcoming one-shots will be as good as this!

Author's Response: Thank you, and I'll try. My primary school uniform used to include Maroon fairly heavily, so I'm well acquainted with it.

Author's Response: and I'll try.

Canis Majoris by trinsy

Those quotes really got my attention and my curiosity as well. I'm really looking foreward to how this story will develope. Actually, I was just about to blame you, that Remus, James and Lily all are Prefects (because there are only two per house and year), but then it struck me that that is a mistake of Jo Rowling, isn't it? Because Hagrid says in HPatPS (?), that Harry's parents were Head Boy and Girl at their time at Hogwarts or so, whereas in OotP it is stated, that Remus got the badge. Interesting, interesting... So have you thought about it? Were there really three Prefects made per House in fifth year at the marauders' time? Or were Remus, Lily and James perhaps in different Houses? Anyway, good writing so far. (recognized you as an Amarican by that skeptical btw.) :)

Author's Response: Thanks. According to JKR you don't have to be a Prefect to become Head Boy. I think that's really weird, but she's the boss. *shrugs* (Yeah, I'm an American *sighs sadly* I'm attempting to write Brit-speak, but obviously I'm going to mess up, so please be gentle) :)

Author's Response: Okay, so I looked at your profile... Can I just tell you how jealous I am of you? I mean, the fact that you can write a story in a language that isn't your primary one is amazing! And you got "Master" on the Quizilla quiz, and I got "Student". What up with that? So, yeah, anyway, just wanted you to know how much I love you right now! Sorry if you think I'm weird :s

Wow! I haven't been checking on updates a while now, but you've certainly made some progress. 8 chapters to catch up with!

Well I loved that parallel dormitory scenes between Lily, Jocelyn and James, Sirius. That was a really clever way to show us, that they are just made for each other. I know you explained this already in the secound chapter, but I still haven't quite picked up on Peter's timetable. That was a bit confusing...

I liked the image of Remus, Sirius and Jocelyn sitting by the fire and professionally debating the possibility of different scenarios as well.

Ha! No need to ask for up-dates yet, still 7 chapters to go!

Sixth Year Summer by HermoneRULEZ

Your story is really adorable! I never spent a thought about Hermione's dilemma about telling her parents that Voldemort has returned. You description of her point of view and her family background and everything is really very convincing. I've got it very much in for details and was just going to congratulate you about your mentioning Ted the weatherman (asuming that you were refering to HPatPS, but then it stroke me that the news reader's name was Ted and the weatherman's Jim McGuffin, but probably that was just coincidence... It certainly gave me the opportunity to announce my complete HP obsessiveness to the public anyway. Well, congratulations on your fanfic again. PS: Would you mind reviewing mine, if it finally gets accepted?

Author's Response: Yay! Another one! Um, Ted. Did I mention Ted...yes, indeed I did. Sure thing about the fic.

Love You Forever by casually_a_weasley

Summary: A story of the bonds between parent and child, heartfelt traditions, and the rememberence of those who are never truly gone.

The mother nodded her head solemnly, feeling both pain and adoration at the same time. Her job was done, her baby was no longer hers, he was a man unto himself. On her way up, she planted a soft kiss on her little boys forehead, and saw him nod in acknowledgement.

Best fanfic I read so far (though that is not saying much as I just started reading them);o) Really sad. I really hate the original book though. Calm down, just joking. I Havn't even read it yet, but I think I'll buy it as soon as possible now. Thanx for the tip-off.

Sorry to abuse your review section, but would you mind telling me how long you normally have to wait until a story gets accepted/rejected?

Author's Response: No problem; you must remember that this makes me have more reviews! Normally the wait is about 2-3 days, with a 4 day limit. Lately things have been mayhem. I think their submission date-thing has gotten messed up... It all depends. If you've put a certain mod to see your story it used to make the wait longer, but it has made it shorter for me. With note for mod: wait 3 days, limit 5 days. Without note for mod: wait 6 days, limit 5 days. And normally the limit isn't 5 days but the mods have asked for it. I suggest if you're going to put a mod name (but then you'd have edited your story and will have to wait the full 3 days) I would put Janie or Ristan32. They are the ones I normally work with. I wuld actually ask for either one of them, because the mods have been taking vacations and I haven't had a story moderated by Ristan32 in a while. After 4 days with or without the mod note, email a mod. Laura might be your best bet for that.
