Hello, and welcome to my author's page!
I'm a seventeen-year-old Potter fan(atic...), and have been a member of MNFF for the past four months. I currently have three stories up in the archives, and have plans for many more!
My stories are:
One-shots:
The Only Goodbye: A memorial to Colin Creevey. How will his family cope in the aftermath of the final battle?
A Lesson in Love: Ron learns something about the nature of his relationship with Hermione that will force him to grow up just a little more!
Dementor's Kiss: The story of a Dementor who hadn't completely forgotten its former life.
Chaptered fics:
The Seven Years' War: The story of the rivalry between Lily and James. Just what was it that kept them at each others' throats for so long?
Chapter Two: Second Year is now in the queue!
I can't tell you how much fun MNFF is: if you are already a member, then you will already know, and if you aren't but love Harry Potter then join today! :) What I love about this site is that everyone here is here for a common purpose; to share our love of the written word! Everyone is super-friendly and willing to help you out, so I just want to say I love you guys!
Well, I think that's enough about me (or things that are vaguely related to me) for now! Thanks for reading, and if you feel like taking a look at any of my stories (hint hint...) please do so! I love to read any reviews or feedback on my work, so feel free to leave me your thoughts!
'Nuff said!
The ending brought a lump to my throat! It's still hard to believe Fred's gone... Well done!
Great story so far. I loved the line at the beginning;
"I heard Ron’s snort of laughter from the opposite side of the room. I smiled in spite of myself."
So cute!
And are we going to see Hermione destroy the Horcrux? I wonder how she'll react to it...
I just found this story and read all seven chapters in one go! Its sooo funny, some of the things Ron's said had me wanting to slap him! Keep up the good work!
Author's Response: I\'m glad you found it! Add me to your favorites to get updates about this and other stories! And don\'t worry, Ron\'s really going to try to clean up his behaviour for Hermione\'s attention!
Wow. What a powerful piece! I was completely blown away by this! It's so utterly poignant and devastating without being the least bit melodramatic. Great job, I'm definitely adding it to my favourites. Once again, well done!
Author's Response: Thank you very much! I\'m glad that I was able to avoid the melodrama....
Very sweet. I especially love the first verse, it kinda reminds me of waiting for Santa! Well done.
Author's Response: Thanks! Yes, there are many things that you just have to wait for, and Santa is certainly one of them!
Narcissa Malfoy was innocently singing her young son to sleep when an unexpected guest knocks upon Malfoy Manor door. A traumatizing event lead by this intruder will lead her to question her present and future alliances and discover what’s more important to her, her life—or her son’s? Based on a character study drabble I wrote.
Well done, this was a great story. I really felt for Narcissa, especially her despair at Voldemort's hands. You did a really good job of bringing a new perspective to the final battle, so well done! I also thought that you portrayed Lucius very well too; I could imagine him "stiffen beside her," as you described.
T
here were two things I noticed that could be fixed...
"He would definitely hurt Draco and Lucius…what did it matter though, they would all likely be killed anyways."
I don't know if this was a typo or not, but I think "anyway" would be better
"If the Dark Lord were ever had any sort of soft spot for anyone besides himself, it would’ve been for Bella."
And I think this is just a typo too!
I also loved the lullaby; did you write this yourself? Because it's really good! Chilling, but beautiful!
~Sarah
wow, that was a really intense (if that's the right word) read! well done!
Author's Response: He he, I\'m glad you liked it. :D Thank you.
I really enjoyed this story. It was a very interesting idea to fill in the missing scene, and you pulled it off brilliantly! It really seemed like the "missing piece of the puzzle", as I emerged from the story with a whole new insight on both Ginny and Hermione. I loved that so much was discovered and so much happened in such a short space of time! Keep up the good work!
Author's Response: Thanks for your review, Hufflepuff! I have always felt that Ginny and Hermione are quite close, but we never get that perspective in JKR\'s writing because it is from Harry\'s perspective. Now that I\'m older and living in a new town with my husband, I really appreciate the close ties I have with my girlfriends. I think there are many areas in the HP series where the relationship between Ginny and Hermione could be further explored - this one just seemed so right to me when I finished HBP that I had to write it. Thanks again!
I was completely blown away by this. It captures such a terrifying sense of stifling deprivation, isolation and inhumanity. Such an amazing piece.
Well done. I really liked your take on another Wizarding society, and there was a poignancy to Harry's voice that I really felt.
Author's Response: Well, I'm glad you like it. Bronte really did surprise me a lot in this story.
Great beginning, I look forward to the next chapter!
Author's Response: Well thank you!
His fears? Flying...his own wand...fitting in...sticking out! His best friends? A passionate fire-breathing cousin, and a cool, aloof Death Eater's son. His destiny? Anything but ordinary!
Join Albus as he experiances his first year at Hogwarts and begins the journey out from under his father's collosal shadow, if he can survive it of course!
Meet the new Tenacious Trio, Albus Potter, Scorpius Malfoy, and Rose Weasley
Another great chapter!
I was rather surprised at the drastic change in the teaching staff, but I suppose I'll learn to love them all the same:)
I think my favourite part of the chapter was Neville's reaction to the ickle firsties. It's really sweet the way that he helps them along, since we know how he himself reacted twenty five+ years ago during his own sorting! Great stuff!
Author's Response:
Yeah on another site they almost hung me from the nearest tree when I asked if I should make Neville more serious! Evidentally my take on him is here to stay! LOL!
THanks for reading!

Oh wow! I love this story so far. I think my favourite part was the "creepy little boy moments"! This really seems like a continuation of JK's prologue, so give yourself a pat on the back! Can't wait til the next chapter's up!
Author's Response:
Thanks, someone pointed out that Albus was reading older than eleven, and I asked myself why...and I had one of those earthshattering character moments when you really get in your characters head and realize some integral nuts-and-bolts about what makes them tick. So glad you are enjoying it! I've run into a snag with the mods on Chapter three...no idea when I will be able to post it...but stay tuned!

Wow, those kids learn fast!
I noticed something in chapter 4 which I think might be a typo? It says;
'Albus saw his Fred look over at James, and saw James shrug as if to say, "New year, new pranks!"'
I'm guessing "his Fred" is a mistake? Although it would be really cute for Albus to think of him as his Fred!
Anyway, back to the story! You've definitely kept my attention! The characters are all very interesting, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of them, especially Fred and Cormac. (And was that a spark of Hermione-and-Ron-like chemistry that we saw there between Scorpius and Rose in Potions? Ha, chemistry in Potions!)
Oh and another by the way; in the review section it say you can review chapter 7, but that doesn't come up in the table of contents...
Great stuff! Looking forward to the next installment!
Author's Response:
I fixed the typo and now Chapter seven is up!

That was a really good story. I especially loved the symmetry between the two of them, like the lines
"I don’t know.
I don’t know.
I don’t know at all."
(I'm sure you didn't need me to spell it out but I did anyway! ) And even though we have a pretty good idea of how it's going to end, I was crossing my fingers for a happy ending. Really well done.
Author's Response: While I am a sucker for happy endings, not all things end happily. Thank you for reviewing.
I didn't explain what I meant very well in my last comment. Rather than me hoping for a happy ending, I meant it had me believing that a happy ending could be possible. And again, well done!
(I'll shut up now!)
Author's Response: Well, that\'s quite alright. Thank you, again, for leaving your thoughts!
Ah, what a wonderful story!
I was very confused with who was talking until the end too! It's so sweet to see Severus as an overprotective father -
"very advisable, Lily, since getting close to a stranger is very dangerous and would disappoint one’s parents greatly"
I loved that line! So sweet and such a father-like thing to say!
I got a lump in my throat at the end, realising what their lives could have turned out like. Really well done.
~Sarah
Author's Response: Hey Sarah! Great to see you.:) Thank you for the wonderful review. Yes, Severus is quite the overprotective father. I would pity the boy who dares date Lily Jr.;) And if you got a lump in your throat, I see great things in your future. *coughSevGirlfellowshipcough* Thanks again, love. *hugs*=Sammy
Well I know my fics are in safe hands after reading this! It fitted together excellently as a three part story, and I loved the symmetry of each of the chapters. It's nice to see that George can get through with a little help from his brothers. Well done.
Author's Response: thanks for the review and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've just remembered that I need to send you an email - i'll be in touch soon
This was an amazing prologue. I'm definitely hooked! Can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: Merci beaucoup. It\'s so nice to have fans.
Great story!
Hey again, PnP! And I don't think I've talked to you, BertieBotsBeans, yet, so well done to you too!
I knew as soon as I read "Don’t bring Black" that I was going to enjoy it! Funny that the letter turned out to be far more sinister than I'd expected, but it still makes me laugh!
I really enjoyed the story, especially since I've been looking for stories about how the two of them got together.
I hope you did well in your Gauntlet challenge, and once again well done!
~Sarah
