Summary: The cats at Hogwarts have a world that only they know and understand. They have a part to play in the final year at Hogwarts. Crookshanks and Mrs. Norris have a major part to play when a spell meant for Harry gets them instead.

This story has not been abandoned. Due to having my Daughter, I have not had time to update it, but I do plan on continueing this in the near future.

Great chapter! I like how you brought out the old characters by highlighting how they have grown in your story, especially Blackie! Keep it coming!

Author's Response: Thanks! I kinda had fun with the newest addition to the cat world! She is based off one of my cats. :) Cyns

Awesome story!! Can't wait to see more! What was the rat up to? Was he working alone or for or with someone? How will they get switched back?

Author's Response: Thanks for your review! We will get to see some of the story from the "bad guys" POV in chapter 4. Keep your eyes out. I have Chapter three almost ready to post and I'm working hard on Chapter 4.

Lethal Affection by Phoenix5225

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: It has been said that when a butterfly flaps its wings, the effects are felt on the other side of the earth. And so it is the same with our past. Every memory, every scene we have witnessed, every emotion we have felt, has shaped us into the people we have become. How is it that an event that occurred thirty years ago can affect an action today? How do we begin to understand this phenomenon so that we may alter the paths of our future? And most importantly, how will one man learn to love one woman, when for him, feeling affection for another has led to nothing but death?

Wow! This is a great story! I like how you are trying to define Severus, why he acts the way he does. I do think that maybe some of the love scenes may be a little out of character, or rushed. I can’t see him sitting down in a situation that is a little uncomfortable in, like in Laurel’s room. Standing with his arms folded in front of him and his hard cold stare seem to be some of his defense mechanisms. This is very well written and I can definitely picture the story and see how maybe there was something between him and Lily that could not be because of his dislike of Mudbloods. Can’t wait to read more of the story as it grows!! 8)

Each of us have our hopes and dreams, even those of us who want to deny that side of ourselves! Can really see this in Snape here! Great poem! Very like many of my poems turn out...although I haven't done any Harry related ones yet...hmmm, may need to try here sometime!

Author's Response: Thank you for the lovely review... and keep up the writing!

The Long Journey by hermione_granger4life

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: This story takes place right after Half Blood Prince. The trio are still searching for Voldemort and trying to find the remaining Horcruxes. Harry and Ginny go through a split while Ron and Hermione get engaged. Will Harry and Ginny finally work out their differences or will the new girl take him away from her forever? Will Harry defeat Voldemort?
UPDATE!!!!!!!!! So I started writing this up and it turned into a Harry/Other Character(Rose is her name). I added some more warnings because of my chapter 2 I just typed- it has a smidge of violence and stuff. So I got chapter 2 off to my beta so hopefully I can get that up soon!

Wow, this is your first fanfiction? This is well written and a very good start to a story! Keep writing!

Author's Response: Ha, yep. I wrote this a few years back I believe and yes, it was my very first HP fanfiction ever...lol. I kind of got sidetracked and switched courses. Then chapter two was rejected and I just never got around to revising it...but I may do that now. Thanks for the review! :)

An Unexpected Collision. by Magical Maeve

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Hannah, a Muggle on her way to her parents' house for Christmas, has her journey intercepted in a rather startling way. This is a little fluffy Snape/OC romance, written for Secret SPEW at Christmas. It was written for Laura/Insecurity.

Great story! Really enjoyed this...different ideas of what many may see in the character of Snape, the chance for romance! 8)

Author's Response: This was a tough one, having to write instant romance for Snape. I\'m glad you enjoyed it.

Wow...Hope that isn't truly how the story ends, but knowing it could...and the beauty mixed with the despair...isn't that life?!

Author's Response: Hi, Cwiddy :) I, too, hope it doesn\'t end this way -and it probably won\'t- but as you said, isn\'t that life? Thanks for reviewing!

As the Dusk Grows by AstroFire

Date: 08/20/06 Title: Chapter 1: As the Dusk Grows

This night is one of those we all (who are HP fans) try to imagine! Great discription of what may have happened.

Author's Response: Ah, this night... I have to say that I always enjoy toying with the idea of this night. There could have happened so many things. I\'m happy that you liked it, and thank you very much for leaving your review :)

Come Back... by AstroFire

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: The rain kisses Ginny as she stands under the stars praying for Harry's safety. He has gone to finally fulfill his destiny; to kill or to be killed. In the midst of fear and darkness, Ginny asks the night to bring him back. Will Harry come back to her? Or is his fate already decided? One-shot.

The pain of Ginny, and the resolve of Harry both come out very well here! Great work and definately tells of the poetry of love and the strength that can come from it!

Author's Response: Ah, I really like this story. It\'s the only one of my stories that came out this way (although OceanSoul could also have some of this \'descriptive, poetry-like\' style). It makes me very happy to know that you saw all of that in the story; it means it somehow accomplished its objective :) Once again, thank you very, very much for reviewing :D

Great attempt at the Sestina! I did struggle some circling around with some of the lines, but this was well thought out and i can tell you put a lot of work into it! Thanks for sharing!

Author's Response: If you mean where the sentences continued onto the next line, I was frustrated with that, too. Thanks for reading!

You have totally kept Draco in character in this story...and the same with Remus. It would be very difficult on Draco to loose his parents, and the rest of his family would have issues with him being a werewolf. Remus would be a good choice of a guardian for him, having been in similiar shoes himself.

Fenrir has affected many children, and knowing that Remus has been in these shoes turns the story around a bit. Having the affected child be Draco increases the irony. Maybe Draco will learn to be less arrogant with a guardian such as Remus...especially since he will be looked down upon because he, himself is a werewolf. That scorn will be directed his way and may be an eye opening experience.

Ocean Soul by AstroFire

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: They say no one is born being evil. Is Tom Riddle an exception? A one-shot about the night a boy lost his innocence; the night everything changed for everyone. A story about how a boy turned into man... HBP spoilers. Please review. I'm very, very sorry for the weird problem with the format. It is now fixed, but I'm sorry if you had to read it without any spaces D:

such imagery...a view I would never have had...the dying of innocence, of the good that was/could have been. The final transformation into evil.

Author's Response: I think you put it in the right words: \'the tarnsformation into evil\'. That\'s exactly what I think Oceansoul is/shows. Thank you very much for reviewing (not only this story but also all the others! :D )!
