Luna has always been one of my favorite characters, simply because of her quirkiness. As with any time I am reading a great story, my muse set off "OOO! Possibilities!" pokes at me while reading this. I love it when you are reading something and you start thinking of all kinds of possibilities for expanding it, or part of it. That is one of the things that make a wonderful story...hence the creation of fan fiction. I didn't notice any glaring clerical errors (punctuation, grammar, etc), so that's another plus for your writing. I do hope that the next part of this is validated soon, because I would love to know the rest of the story. Keep writing!

*Phew* My Luna's acceptable (so far)! I must admit, writing the ethereally quirky Ravenclaw was more than a little nerve-wracking. She is such an iconic character! She comes out with such random, madcap phrases, but is so deeply perceptive (and deeply dippy - at times), that tackling her characterisation was daunting. But it really HAD to be Luna for this fic - there's no one better suited for AU mayhem than she is! I just hope I continue to deliver her as relatively true to character as is within my means (I don't normally write her, but will continue to try my best to do her justice for all the die-hard Luna fans, 'cos I love her too!).

And thanks for the nod towards punctuation and grammar :) It's by no means perfect, but I always (rabidly) scan my fics (oh, SO many times) to see if I've made any horrific errors, which leads to me getting so sick of the sight of my own words, that I invariably give up in frustration & post it 'warts and all'. Still, it's a relief to know this chapter was okay (grammatically). IMHO, nothing ruins enjoyment of a fic quicker than lack of attention to detail.
