That was really good. I think they sort of deserve each other, in a way. But I didn't see it coming. The dialogue was great, not turning the story into a cliche. Great job.

Fighting History by Lily6161

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Whne Zaire Riddle wakes up to go to Hogwarts, she expects to find hostility there. What she doesn't expect is to find a best friend, a new start, and quite a few lessons on fighting her past. She soon finds that maybe fighting har history isn't as hard as it seems. It just takes some cunning, some courage, and some good friends.
Substance abuse much, much later.

This story is exceedinly original and comes across really well. I hope you keep updating, because its a brilliant read.

Worse Side Story: West Side Story Voldemortified by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: It's been far too long since I posted a new musical spoof! This one is a collection of vignettes featuring Voldemort and the other bad guys in the style of "Dark Lord Voldy's Shattered Soul Club Band."

The songs are all parodies of songs from Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim's excellent musical, West Side Story. Someone-- and I'm so sorry, but I can't remember who-- requested I do this a loooong time ago, so thank you for suggesting it!

This is really clever, even though West Side Story is really precise. It fits perfectly. Great job :-)

Author's Response: Aww, thank you! I was worried, because this didn't have the same lyrical sound as a lot of the spoofs I like to write... but it was a lot of fun! And my Beauty and the Beast parody should be coming purrrty soon.

Buried Memories by Essence of Potter

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •

I really liked how the good and bad times with Regulus and Sirius were contrasted together. It made seem even worse that Regulus became a Death Eater. Also, James' letter and the dramatic irony was very moving. Well done.

Author's Response: Thank's so much! It's my first fic but I'm working on some others at the moment. Yeah, I like to think that Sirius and Regulus were friends when they where younger ant that they didn't just hate each other from the start.

But I'm A Gryffindor by KASK

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: James always put being a Gryffindor above all else...
Reviewer: Belledeg Signed
Date: 06/25/09 Title: Chapter 1: But I'm A Gryffindor

This is when of the most original approaches to James/Lily I've read in a while. I think it's great that James doesn't fall for her during first year and persue her for all time after. I think it's nice that he takes time to realise. Well done!

Author's Response: Thank you! :)

Harry Potter and the Eccentricities of Death by LuckyFelixFelicis

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Death. It is usually a simple thing, but when Harry Potter gets involved things have a tendency to get a whole lot more complicated. Death himself must get involved and he hasn't had this much fun in years.
Reviewer: Belledeg Signed
Date: 07/19/09 Title: Chapter 1: A Timely Death

I love how cheerful and jaunty Death is. He just makes the whole situation more sureal. Well done!

Be Strong From Within by luinrina

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: Ginny went back to Hogwarts for her sixth year, without Harry at her side. The school has been “taken over” by Voldemort’s forces. How will it be like, the new school year?

Follow Ginny back to school when there was nothing worth going for.

This was really impressive. I always wondered about Ginny while Harry was searching for the Horcruxes, and how hard it must have been for her. This story did a great job in exploring that. Well done.

Author's Response: Thank you, for reviewing and the nice comment. :)

It's Killing You by NeverTooLate

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Happiness damn near destroys you. Breaks your faith to pieces on the floor.

A Charlie Weasley/OC fic in response to the SPEW 007 prompt "asleep"

Date: 07/10/09 Title: Chapter 1: Even the Strongest of Us Break

Very moving. The second person approach gave it that extra touch of poignancy. The pace was just right as well. Also an excellent use of language and word choice. Well done, you!

Author's Response: Thanks. I actually didn't expect it to be accepted (if that's the right word...). I had fun with it and was very proud when it was done.

This is really interesting because it explores Voldemort's side of the conection between them. Also the scene with Dumbledore was intriguing. Great job, I loved this! :-)

Author's Response: Thank you so much! This is my first story and you're my first reviewer :-)

All That I've Got by J Raven
