Oh my cod I LOVED IT! This was so ADORABLE! Emma and Tyrone were hilariously cute, Haley's random ambush of someone with the name "Sinclair" was great and Jordan ... Well. Talk about the sweetest thing ever written.
Anyway, yeah, I loved it. And I totally picked up on the Monty Python reference! One time I went with my family to where that was filmed, and in the gift shop there were two coconut halves on the counter, but no one could tell us whether they were the originals or not. I like to think that they were.
Also I loved "Oh, is THIS hanky panky?" It was pretty funny. I love Tyrone. Actually ... I basically love all the Pentagon boys. I am such a hussy. Although I'll admit Jor-jums is still front runner, especially after I got to imagine him in a tux. Hello adorable.
Anyway. Happy Christmas! I loved it!
Author's Response: Thank you! I thought you might like the Jordan-ness, hehe. And I would have LOVED to see the genuine Monty Python coconuts. And you know what? I'm an INCESTUOUS hussy, because I love all of the Potter's Pentagon boys as well, and I created them. So that's even weirder. (And Jordan is a total cutie, yes!)

I'm not going to pretend like I totally understood all of this, but I do know that I loved it. I don't even have any way of knowing if the sciencey stuff in this fic is even real, but I totally loved every last bit. I loved all the characterisations, particularly of Sirius, and even though I didn't follow all of the physics, somehow it still made sense. Is that weird? I don't know. But even though I've never been that amazing at science and maths and physics, I've always loved listening to people explaining it, if they do it properly. And you made it absolutely beautiful. :)
This completely deserved the QSQ, congratulations.

Loved this! I think, in fact, I'll list the things I loved most. You know ... for fun.
1. That James kept taking more and more biscuits. I'd have made him do the exact same thing, I thought of it as soon as I read the first scene, and so was extremely pleased to see that you'd obviously done the same!
2. That James decided to use it as an opportunity to wind McGonagall up as much as possible, but then got very serious very fast, right at the end. That last little part captured his personality perfectly - joking 99% of the time, but fully appreciating, in all its seriousness, what needs to be done.
3. McGonagall's sympathetic attitude towards Remus, which made me love both characters even more than usual.
4. The SPOT ON interpretation of Peter trying to be James, and consequently selling himself short. Perfect.
5. The sweet scene between Sirius and Remus at the end (including the description of James's boasting, which I can also see just perfectly). It's nice to see that, even though they are a four, they work just as well in twos - and not even the traditional friendship pairings of James & Sirius, and Remus & Peter, but it can be completely interchangeable.
Basically, I thought the whole thing was amazingly perceptive, and captured the Marauders perfectly (and I say that as a Marauder-era writer myself, so I feel like I've really got to know them much better than any of the original trio ... or at least, I've got to know my own interpretations and ideas about what they should be like).
Congratulations on the QSQ nomination for this - I hope you get it, because it definitely deserves recognition! =D
Author's Response: Thank you so much for a wondeful review. I'm particularly pleased you liked James because I giggled all the way through writing it. I just think he's such a wind-up merchant ... Ahhh I love the guy. It means a lot that you, particularly, have liked my interpretation because I love The Cause so much. Thank you also for appreciating that McGonagall can be sympathetic at times. She's harsh on Sirius because he needs it but Remus doesn't have a great deal out of life.

James Potter was going to Azkaban for the rest of his natural life, and his whole family was in shambles. His wife and child have fled the country, his sister was missing, and his parents were a wreck. However, James knew that he had larger problems: his guilt was coming more and more in question.
Though he knew that James was withholding information about the circumstances of the murder of which he had been found guilty, Harry had secrets of his own; however, even he could not handle this torrent of trouble alone. Can Harry trust his darkest confidences to anyone? Even family?Â
How will the Potter clan stop the downward spiral into pain and disaster, and can they recover what they've lost?

I really loved this fic, I thought the plot and the relationships between the characters were brilliant, especially the Next Generation kids! Albus was amazing, I loved his gradual "awakening" type thing throughout the story as he took control and became this new man ... I liked that he had all of Harry's good points, but without the same faults that broke up him and Ginny (which, I'll admit, made me sad, but was also very realistic so I don't blame you for it, and thought it was a very daring and original choice). I also loved that even though things worked out in many ways (such as Goyle being arrested and James being cleared) they weren't perfect, because that's also a very realistic way of ending things.
Anyway, congratulations on writing and finishing this fic, because it was truly amazing, and doubly so considering it's your first time! I look forward to the epilogue, and anything else you do connected with the characters you created. =)

Ah, thank you so much for stopping by!
I'm glad you understood my plans for Albus, because I really wanted him to become someone real in this fic. He's a blank slate in JKR's world, but in mine, he's vibrant, multifaceted, and alive. At the moment, Anne is still a bit Mary-Sue, but I have plans for her in future works.
The ending couldn't ever be perfect. In no realistic way could every one of the protagonists come out with everything they wanted; that would be ridiculous. I just wanted justice to be served, which I believe was done. There are still loose ends to tie up with the Epilogue, which is still in the works (I've been waiting for response from readers to let me know what they want to see resolved in it), and I think it should tie up nicely.
There are several works in my brain connected with this series of events, starting from right after the Epilogue to all the way after Harry and company leave school (with much more Trio involvement). The next one in the immediate future is about Draco and how he came to be the man that appeared in this book. It was actually my NaNo piece, and it's not far off from being readable and is already half done.
Anyway, thank you for stopping by and reviewing. I adore every reader, even the ones that give me hell for breaking up Harry/Ginny. This isn't the last of my epically long stories, so if you're looking for them, they are in the works (if only in my mind at the moment).
