Hello! I'm Alyssa. I joined this site just after I turned thirteen and I'm still here. Well, I'm here off and on.

Mugglenet is where I read my first fanfic, and it's where I tried submitting my first story. I met some of my best friends here.

This is just a great place.

I don't write very often, and when I do it's short. That'll never change, so never expect anything more than a one shot from me.

To anyone who has given me a review, thank you very much!

My first ever one-shot is Home, and my second is Talking in the Ministry. I don't think they are very good, so read at your own caution.

My stories:

Two is Better Than One - Harry/Hermione
Regret - Dark/Angsty (Molly's POV)
Home - Harry/Ginny
That One Detention - Other Pairing (Rosmerta/OC)
Your Time - Marauder Era (Lily's POV)
True Happiness - Dark/Angsty
Love Reign O're Me - Marauder Era (Remus's POV)
I Get By - Same-Sex Pairing (Crabbe/Goyle)
On my Own - Dark/Angsty (Sirius's POV)
Birthday Surprises - General
What Would You Do? - James/Lily ~ Won QSQ for best Canon Romance
Over and Over - Dark/Angsty (James's POV)
Talking in the Ministry - General

My poems:

Awaiting - A poem about the Final Battle.
Light My Fire - A Dolores/Fudge poem.
Character Haikus - Haikus about HP characters.
The One for Me - James's POV about Lily.
Father - A peom about Harry dying.
Madness - A poem about Azkaban.

I really like this chapter. I'm glad that they found Hermione. I think you are very good at ending chapters. You leave off at a spot that has readers wanting more, without giving too much away. This is a great chapter and i can't wait for the next one.

Author's Response: Why thank you, Alyssa. I love reading/writing cliffhangers that are amazing and make you angry because you want more but happy because it was a great ending. Thanks for the great reviews. ~Lexi~

I like this chapter but I thought it was funny because my sister eats soup for breakfast and i make fun of her for it.

Author's Response: all right, the response for the above review was meant for this one. I accidentally clicked on the wrong button.

Summary: For the past six years, Lily Evans has put up with James Potter's pranking. But as her seventh year commences, she decides it's time to give James a taste of his own medicine.

Chapter 7 has finally been submitted!

Kickin' It at the Top by Soap

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: A Marauder-era fic - this story takes a look at all the characters we've come to love (and hate), as well as an OC or two thrown in for good measure. Follow the Marauders through seven years at Hogwart's, with appearances from the infamous Black sisters, Lucius Malfoy, Regulus Black, and of course the one and only Severus Snape.

There are a bunch of pairings in this story (although romance is not necessarily the central theme) to include James/Lily, Lucius/Narcissa, a splash of Lucius/Bella and unrequited Snape/Lily, and finally, plenty of Sirius/OC. Enjoy!

Over 120,000 reads! Wow! Thanks everyone!

At Friendship's End by SilverLily_13

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Just a poem about Lily's thoughts as she thinks about Snape. Takes place even before the scene at the lake in their fifth year--more like a week or two before, as she realizes he's changed for the worse.
Reviewer: ron lover Signed
Date: 10/12/10 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Hello!

I have to say I love your poem! Although, without reading the summary (I liked the title!) I thought it was about Snape. The last line is what made me make this face: :O. So I read it again. On the second read I thought more about the poem, and things seemed more girlish and nothing that Snape would write.

There is silence where
We used to talk.
Feet are still
Where we used to walk.

This is my favorite stanza. It is very well written. The last part doesn't make sense at all, but I still get it. I love lines like that. And what I understand from it is amazing. Its a great way to show how they're not together anymore.

Now it's all over,
Our friendship died.
It was nice while it lasted,
The ending aside.

I like that stanza, but I was thinking that the comma between the first and second line could be changed to a semi colon. If you did that I think adding 'has' before died would make it better. But that's just me because I like the fuller stop there. But I think both work. Just a suggestion. :)

I've read all of your poetry, and I have to say that I loved every one! I think you have a great skill with Lily/Severus! Please write more? :)

Alyssa

The Twinge by MagEd

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Some say to follow your heart, others think it best to follow your head. And what does Ginny Weasley believe? A short history of Ginny Weasley and how she learned to follow the twinge, from her first kiss to the day when Harry almost died. *one-shot*

I really like this story. I could see Ginny thinking that when everybody thought Harry was dead. I also like what was going through Ginnys mind before she was with Harry. I really see Ginny dateing Michael for no reason.

I really love how Harry and Ginny got back together. It was so cute! I love how he fallowed he there and how he was nervously just standing there looking at her.

I just love the whole consept of the story. It's so cool.

I really like this story a heck of a lot.

Author's Response: Thank you very much! My first relationship was similar to what I think Ginny's relationship with Michael was; I'm glad you agree that it seemed Ginny dated Michael for no reason. As for how Harry and Ginny got back together straight away -- I've read a lot of fanficitons where they have a bunch of issues to work through and they wait months and months to get back together, and while some of those can be very realistic and very good, I personally think they got back together soon after the final battle (at least within the summer after) and then worked through their issues together. It's good to know you liked how I had them simply get together again -- I loved writing that scene :) Thanks again for the great review!

Learning To Live by MarauderWannabe

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Learning to live, just might cost them their lives.

Lily Evans needs to learn how to really live. Not her imitation of living. Real living doesn't involve homework, school, following the rules, or playing it safe. Real living is taking risks, breaking the rules, being spontaneous, and going to fast. And there is one person that is going to show her how. One summer and James Potter later and Miss Lily Evans might not recognise herself. Too bad, all good things must come to an end.....

"Lily, we're friends. I would never betray any of my friends. Plus, you honestly think I would let old Moldy-shorts get to me?" he joked.
