Finally there's some real action! Snape's reaction was so undeniably... Snape! It was absolutely, amazingly perfect. I'm really glad you didn't go the easy route and him confess his undying love to her right then and there, because that would have been too unSnapeish and cliche.
I hope the next chapter is as good as this one was! Keep up the good work.
