Hi there! My name is Hayden. I'm a Hufflepuff on the Boards. I love fanfiction, writing, and Tom Riddle. At the moment I've got a story up: A Great and Terrible Beauty, which is something completely different from my normal writing. Also, most of the answers start coming out towards the end of the story, and I really can't wait until I get all of it done. Give it a read, and I hope you like it!

My Troubled Tyrant by Belledeg

Summary: Keedie Dante has experienced many amazing things during her time at Hogwarts, including the hushed up drama that was the Chamber of Secrets. However, with two overachieving friends and a headmaster who does not even know she exists, Keedie feels that perhaps her seventh year will not be too spectacular. However, Dumbeldore sees her potential as a writer and enrols her in a simple writing course. Here, she meets the mysterious and terrifying Tom Riddle and they instantly get under one another's skin. She is drawn to his dark determination towards some unknown goal and he is fascinated by her, in every way. However, Tom's friends do not approve of Keedie and her unconventional ways and Keedie has many people trying to keep her away from the dark young man as well. Something inside tells Keedie that she can make him better, but even he assures her that this is an impossible task. But she's not one to give up easily...

Yay! I can't wait for the ball! I like the way that you're slowly turning Tom against his gang. I wonder what Keedie's reaction might be once Tom has turned up to protect Keedie. Maybe she will get mad or maybe, hopefully they will make up. I hope they do!

Date: 07/30/09 Title: Chapter 22: Learn To Be Lonely
Hello everyone! I really can't wait for your next chapter and all of the memories! I think there might be some funny ones, knowing Keedie, and maybe some sad ones. And maybe Tom gets to show his memories, and maybe the flashbacks are memories too, so they can see that they've known each other all along! I don't know if I've already mentioned this or not, because I think I left a bunch of reviews but forgot to submit them when my mom called me for lunch... but when you're back, everything will be back to normal. And these past few chapters I don't think I've really said how great your story is. It's a truly remarkable and unique effort and there is probably no better story than this on the whole site. I'll be very sad when it ends, but maybe Saif and I will come back for the Andromeda Ted one, it looks pretty good. But I'm not going to review the others yet. I'm sticking with this story till the end. You should enter this in a contest when everything's posted. I'll always be for My Troubled Tyrant!

Author's Response: The memories will reveal what happened to Keedie´s mum, p`lus there will be another meeting between young Tom and young Keedie. We´ll also hear what the Sorting Hat said to her.

Wow! I like Tom beating up Gregor, too. And at the end, is the flashback real? Does she know that the boy was Tom? Please keep poting, I can't wait for the next chapter! It sounds exciting!
Author's Response: The flashback is real but Keedie doesn't realise it was Tom and vice versa. There are more flashbacks to their pasts as the story goes on. Next chapter's in the queue :-)
Date: 08/26/09 Title: Chapter 25: Just Like You
That's really sad and unfair to Keedie. He sounds like he's put her on a level. He loves her, but he's not talking to her that way. Atleast he's confiding in her, something he would never do to Bellatrix. Plus I'm listening to 'Love Hurts' by Incubus, and I'm totally feeling the song, I'm really into it right now and so this just makes things sad from my perspective. All he knew was war. He grew up in a war- though it wasn't in the immediate area, it was a long way away, but still, I like that you put that.
Voldemort cannot talk to Keedie like that, if he's talking to her, then he should let her talk to him! Instead he goes 'I don't have to listen to this.' Yeesh, Voldy.

YAY!!!! Thank you for posting that up. Everyone, especially me was getting a bit hyper and excited. If Keedie is present, then what is she going to do? Will she talk to Harry at all? Will she cry? Does she start hating him at the last minute? So many possibilities... mwuahahaha... Anyway, I am really excited to read the 17th chapter and I can't wait for it to be posted! It sounds really good! I just saw the new excerpt! She actually talks to him! In the battle! OH MY GOSH! I'm all excited right now, thank you, thank you so much for putting that up! I wonder what they talk about. Maybe it's in that excerpt before the last, with him telling her that he wanted to be numb and solitary and what such.
I was also wondering if you put a little King's Cross thing in Tom's head in the forest, too. I'm so excited, I can't wait!

This is a really good chapter! The Peter Pan thing was just so amazing! Tom might be getting ideas from Keedie, though. Will he think of Keedie as a happy thought when he flies, later on?

Tom is changing Keedie without the both of them knowing. Or they both know. Keedie is feeling bad for Tom when she knows that he will be evil. She's turned into one of those girls who thought they could fix someone going the wrong way... but instead the girl is changing. Sad, I guess.

Make Keedie and Voldemort talk about Voldy's appearance! That would be funny. Does Harry see Keedie? Do they talk? I'm smiling all wide, I'm really so thrilled!
Keedie would look older, now. Maybe a few grey hairs, haha. Anyway, does Keedie just let Tom die? Does she die at the hand of Bellatrix?
I KNOW! When Bellatrix and Mollyd duel, Bellatrix fires a curse that misses Molly and kills Keedie, and at the same time Bellatrix dies, so everyone thinks he's angry for Bellatrix dieing, when he's really sad that Keedie died! Haha, that's probably all wrong, but I like to make my guesses.

So if Gregor gives up on Keedie, then does... no, Melena gets married to some other dude... but she's a girl, her name line will disappear after she's married. But there must be some twist for Colin's last name to be Creevey. It's sad that Melena feels like this about her friend.

Author's Response: Melena, in my notes at least, has Muggle brothers and sisters. Quite a large family. I just reckoned the Creevey family had to have a witch somewhere if both Colin and Dennis were wizards.

The Nagini - Voldemort talk is really nice, like Nagini is one of the only ones he can confide in. But he can't tell her everything, still, I would guess. Also the fact that Voldemort has a feeling things might go wrong... the wand... so it must be before he kills Snape.

I just wanted to say that the 'Oh no, he cannot love. That's part of the riddle of his being.' part is good, but it doesn't really fit with Tom bacause everyone can love, and Tom loves Keedie. Unless you're saying he stops loving as he makes more horcruxes or something.
I like the idea, though. Peter Pan cannot love because he always needs to be happy... I think... and Love is pain, so it makes sense.
I'm awaiting any updates! Oh- and only 4000 words? Are you sure? Positive? That's shorter than regular chapters, yet you've put up so many excerpts from the epilogue!

Author's Response: That quote went in simply because it had the word "riddle" in it. Felt too good to be true. Also, that's how everyone is supposed to see Voldemort. :)
Date: 09/06/09 Title: Chapter 28: The Epilogue--My Immortal
Well, this is it. It's actually over. I've gotten so used to this story over the past few months and I think about it everytime I read Deathly Hallows. I thought that you were tricking us by saying that you had a bunch of twists and the epilogue was only 4000 words. I was thinking that the excerpts were part of bigger scenes, but they were most of the scenes themselves. Ah, well. I loved it as always.
The ending was so beautiful and it was as if Keedie was coming to fetch him. She was calling him to sleep, to death, kind of like the middle Peverell brother and his wife.
My heart is aching from the last few sentences, it's so beautiful. I don't think I have words to describe it. He remembered her, and it was over. *Sighs* He kind of felt remorse, I guess. I was wondering about the letter last night, because you told me to remember the emerald and the letter. But I logged on today and the last chapter was updated so fast! The letter is heartbreaking and it's a perfect ending. I like how she goes 'My Troubled Tyrant... You know who'. So I'm guessing that Tom eventually found the letter and used 'You Know Who' as an alternate for his name. My HEART ACHES! And I'm half- crying.
Thank you for the amazing journey and I will keep reading and re-reading this story, for it's my most favorite, and it will always be because I can guarantee you that there is no better story on MNFF than this one. I'm so sad that it has ended, but this isn't goodbye! I'm coming back for your other stories!

You have have HAVE to do the one-shots. You said that you might do a one-shot for the letters that Tom and Keedie sent back and forth when they were separated and you said that you might do a one-shot on their reunion, if you can work out a way for them. Please? For your loving readers? Super-Please? The reunion sounds better to me, it would be like and extra epilogue. I can imagine possibilities right now, that Tom is his handsome self again and Keedie is as beautiful as ever, and they're both pearly white and they're standing in this beautiful paradise... or hell... and then Keedie says 'I told you so.' And then she hugs him. Should be something perfect and breath-taking.
Speaking of breath-taking, I'm literally having trouble breathing because I feel so sad and happy and all of these weird feelings mixed together! I don't think I'll ever be able to forget this story, especially with Tom Riddle being my favoritest character in the whole world and this story being the most perfect, believable romance. Thank you so much, once more! I really hope you win the awards this year! You deserve it!

NO, YOU CRAZY WOMAN! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING! YOU CAN'T JUST KILL KEEDIE LIKE THAT! YOU KILLED HER AND THE BABY! YOU! EVIL PERSON! YOU CAN'T KILL YOU'RE MAIN CHARACTER! *sobs really hard* I am in so much shock right now. Just-- no. No. Tom will die, I can imagine... he's definitley going to kill that guy who killed Keedie. I am soooooooooo freakin' shocked that you could do that. *SCREAMS* Keedie's gonna die... Tom will just... fall apart and kill everything that comes his way. I know I'm ranting, but now I realize how much I love Keedie... but you killed her! That's evil!

Wow, this is an awesome fic. Didn't you say that Harry Potter is in this story? Maybe he comes in the future. I have an idea about what might happen that involves Priori Incantatem and Harry seeing into Voldie's past and asking Dumbledore who Keedie Dante is. And finding out that she may be his only weakness. Please don't make Volders kill keedie to get her out of his way to reach his lifelong goal!!! Because you said this isn't an Alternate Universe. Just make them have a happy ending somehow. Don't be cruel. Anyway, I check for updates, like, everday. And Tom is uberhot. Love the way you shape his personality and don't change it from the real J.K.R version of it. There, I'm done rambling. Cheers!

What in the world happened to the review page? Its long! What did you people do to it? It's all funky now.
I want to see how Tom takes it when Keedie says no, and how he takes it when Keedie might tell him that she's pregnant. That should be so interesting to see him freak out.
Also, does Tom leave because of the baby girl? Does he stay or go abroad again, or does he find out at all? I can't wait!

Hi again! This was an awesome chapter! The lyrics were perfect! And the last part, the memory was kind of like a... foreshadowing of the fact that Keedie and Tom are destined to be together. That makes me really sad that Tom has to die in the end. If Keedie has a fate with Tom, then her life will be ruined if the love of her life disappears. I hate to imagine her cold, blank and emotionless face after the battle. Unless this has a good ending for both of them. Atleast you could have them die together- because I don't think she would want anything to seperate them again. Unless she turns against him at the last moment and breaks his heart before has to die. I think that you can see I'm trying to make you feel guilty if this ends horribly.
But still, I'm happy that they leave Hogwarts together. After he hides the diadem in the Albanian Forest, I wonder what changes there are. Like maybe Keedie gets... finds out about the little baby while Tom's gone. She could try to find him desperately and finds him in Knockturn Alley, where she sees where he lives and who he works for... meet H. Smith, the owners of the shop... and Keedie finds out how powerful Tom's wand is. Hahahaha this'll be good!
Please, nobody forget that Tom has to trash Holmwood soon... but I'm scared that Tom might use Crucio and Holmwood will report it to the Ministry! How will Tom and Keedie get him out of that one? I'm getting waaay ahead of myself. Oh, what the hey, I don't care, this is my favoritest story in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD! *Shouts to the skies without any shame. And waves arms wildly like a child.*

The memory is a foreshadowing and, along with the flashbacks of their childhoods, it is a big arrow pointing to the fact that they are two halves of one whole. *sighs* If only it were that simple. As for making me guilty, I will happily reveal that Keedie will not break his heart again. She's prepared to accept him as he is. And as for Gregor, Tom will deal with him soon enough. Next chapter's in the queue ;-)
