Long Since Forgotten by Scheherazade

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Voldemort has been defeated, and as he slowly dies, his life begins to flash before his eyes....

Hey, this is well done.

It was wonderfully descriptive, and I enjoy those stories where you can see within someone's mind, and really be able to fill their shoes.

This story is a great example of, in the words of Atticus Finch, "You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view-until you climb into his skin and walk around in it"(Lee 30).

Although there were a few nitpicky plot inconsistencies (such as that Hepzibah Smith was poisoned not murdered in a bloody fashion), and that Voldemort never seemed to me like the romantic type, I enjoyed your details and anecdotes that mark careful reading and amazing perception.

Good job!

Author's Response: I do appreciate you taking the time to review my story, and I am sorry it took me so long to reply back. Thank you for reading, and I do appreciate the concrit, and that you liked the story overall. :-) It makes me very happy to know that.

A Blaze of Light by Leahr

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Blaise is misunderstood by most, and Hogwarts is his only regular home. Not that being a Slytherin is easy. His mother won't tell him what he wants to know. And worse, her penchant for rich husbands- many of them- puts him in the public eye far more than he'd like. Does anyone know who his father is? And why are all these Death Eaters on his case? Can't they just leave him alone already? Blaise isn't going to ask again, so pay attention, Dark Lord!

Follow him through the major complications of his life as he gets nearer to finding out a dark secret he never could have imagined.

Thanks go to Dara for being an awesome beta! Chapter 7 now up!

How To Fix Everything by cassie123

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: ‘I missed you,’ she whispered into his chest. ‘Two days is a long time.’

It would be expected for them to somehow be pulled apart, be it due to the status of their blood or the houses in which they lay, their seperation was inevitable. For Ted, the hardest part was knowing that Andromeda herself was the reason they had to be apart.

‘Not quite as long as two months,’ he said. ‘Which is how long I was left to miss you.’

A follow up to Don't Apologise, but it can be read as a stand-alone one shot.

Note: The non-consensual sex and violence warnings are minor aspects of the story, mainly written in small flashbacks.

Cassie, this is amazing. I'm afraid I can't write reviews at the length that you do, but I'll make the most out of this short one. I'm really not much of a person for romance fics, but this one is an exception. It's written at an angle where one can go just about anywhere, so congratulations on finding a good direction to go in. The ending of the story carried kind of a feel of rising after a fall, that Andromeda was able to come out of an abusive relationship and find a healthy and loving one.

Once again, remarkable job! ~Twitchy

Author's Response: Oh, thank you for this lovely review! I'm really glad this story could be an exception for you :) Don't worry about the length of a review; I write yours for my monthly requirement for SPEW (Society for the Promotion of Evaluations for Writers) on the forums, so that's why mine are so long and in-depth! Again, I'm glad you liked it and thank you for your kind review! - Cassie

The End by Karaley Dargen

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks both died alone; their friends would never know the story of their last breaths.

Here is, at least, the tale of the death of one of them. Tonks is looking everywhere for her husband, but in the end she will have to face the terrible truth and her own fate...

This is brilliantly written; it portrays Tonks and Bellatrix better than a lot of the other versions I've read. I rarely get emotionally involved in stories, but this one I found myself connected to. I felt Tonks's pain as she heard about Remus's death and though about how poor Teddy would have no parents to grow up with. This was a great piece where you do not need a ton of physical action to give the reader go through an emotional roller coaster as they read.

Author's Response: Oh wow, thank you very much. I'm really glad you liked it – it was my first time writing both of those characters (Bellatrix and Tonks), and also my first story in a darker genre, so I was rather nervous about it. I'm especially really happy that it made you feel with the characters, as this is exactly what I wanted to achieve.

Thank you so so much for leaving a review! (by the way, great taste in bands/movies/shows ;D )

I Knew Him As A Boy by ThatGirlWithThatSmile

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Tom Riddle takes two other orphans down into a cave, so what happened down there to make them take a vow of silence?
Reviewer: TwitchyGirl Signed
Date: 01/01/10 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

This is a unique take on young Tom's emotions and mind; it is flowing and believeable. The last paragraph is particularly moving.

However, the grammar and spelling errors were very distracting; I suggest you revise.
