I currently live in the great state of South Dakota. Why do I live in a place with such nasty winters, I don't know. Since most of my family lives far away in more exotic places than I do, my life revolves around my four dogs, Sampson, Raphael, Seamus, and Mayhem. They are a min-pin, a toy poodle, a teacup Malti-Poo, and a Great Dane, respectively.
I've always had a fascination with the mental illness aspect that characterizes Bellatrix Black Lestrange. My first story is her story. On one site I was sorted into Ravenclaw but I think the hat made a mistake. Most days I feel like a Slytherin!
They stayed out half the night and Arthur still can't tell Molly how he feels! I think she should just go with the flow--maybe he's never going to tell her how he feels:D Some guys are like that. The part I liked best was the Quidditch commentary--what was it the Banshee Strategy?? Great chapter.
It's funny to think of Arthur as being so shy now but going on to have seven children with Molly. And, those children certainly weren't shy. This is such a nice look at Arthur and Molly when they were younger. Since so little is written on this topic it would seem to be fertile ground for many authors. Great chapter.
I still want to shake Arthur. Why did he think Molly had the responsibility of saying something? Arthur's just assuming stuff and you know what they say about that:D Great chapter.
How sweet!! Now we know where William and Fred and George got their names. I really enjoyed this story. I'm glad it was featured or I probably never would've found it. Great chapter.
Another author suggested I read your work--Equinox Chick maybe?? I was of course delighted to see that you've written a number of stories that seem to have been well received. This gives me a bunch more to read. Reading fan fiction is my dirty little secret and I engage in it frequently:D This was a great first chapter. I plan to continue reading. One question though. You stated that wannabes were at the bar. Maybe Muggles or Muggleborns. How could Muggles be there?
I think I'd be scared to death being left alone after viewing my memories in the Pensieve. That was creepy. I'm surprised that most of these people don't have ulcers from being stressed out all of the time. This reminds me that as all kinds of things were happening to Harry there are a number of other things going on in the background--many other stories that are waiting to be told.
I would say that Remus should definitely go visit his father. There are a lot of unanswered questions. I'm curious as to what Remus will be doing at Hogwarts. Will he be teaching again?
That was a nice twist to have Remus' Mum be a former professor at Hogwarts and have Molly changing Remus' nappies when he was a baby. I also loved it that the twins found out that Remus was one of the inventors of the Marauders Map and were able to give him the respect he was due.
I loved the prank and the fact that it was the same as the one at the end of the Marauders' 7th year. Brilliant. I also loved Remus' response to Draco. I think this is going to be a very witty story.
That was very interesting. Your feral wolf almost sounds like a vampire. Remus was very brave to give out such personal information to his class. I agree with him though--the students will be better off knowing the info he gave out.
That was a very exciting chapter. If I were Remus I'd really want to talk to my Dad even more now. So, is Kane saying he's the one who bit Remus? And, what does Remus' Dad have to do with it? Kane's not some wayward uncle is he? This will be fun to find out.
I loved how Poppy took care of Dawlish. I hope Remus' Dad answers some of Remus' question.
Remus and Tonks seem to be getting along well. I love Tonks. She may be clumsy but she's witty and funny. She's probably the one person who can make Remus smile.
I hope Remus gets answers to his questions. I can't wait to hear the story. What did his father take from Kane?
I can see why Remus' father had a poor opinion of werewolves and why it was possible for him to have odd feelings toward Remus.
I can't wait to find out how Kane knew Rey's name. This is all very interesting. Those ferals sound like nasty characters. I take it Rey didn't get his family to safety in time.
I was feeling about as panicked as Rey did. And yes, I would've assumed the worst. Maybe he should just tell them to stay at Hogwarts and not come back for the night.
That was certainly exciting. I didn't realize there would be such an interesting relationship behind the family ties title. Kane must be delusional. Rey had nothing to do with Kane's father's suicide. But if he's delusional that won't make any difference.
I'm glad Harry is able to put his memories into a pensieve and sleep better. And I'm glad they're reforming the DA, legally this time. Great chapter.
I was afraid for a minute that Harry would be a gentleman and let Cho have the snitch--but I guess all's fair in quidditch. I liked Dumbledore's approach to legilimency--much trickier. Great chapter.
