I currently live in the great state of South Dakota. Why do I live in a place with such nasty winters, I don't know. Since most of my family lives far away in more exotic places than I do, my life revolves around my four dogs, Sampson, Raphael, Seamus, and Mayhem. They are a min-pin, a toy poodle, a teacup Malti-Poo, and a Great Dane, respectively.
I've always had a fascination with the mental illness aspect that characterizes Bellatrix Black Lestrange. My first story is her story. On one site I was sorted into Ravenclaw but I think the hat made a mistake. Most days I feel like a Slytherin!
How cute. It's great that Ron and Hermione are a couple now. But it's not nice to tease Ginny and everybody else like that. Leave it to Hermione to look up the statistical probablility that the prophecy is right. Great chapter.

I'm always impressed by Harry's entourage. I was struck by Lucius' question to Ellie as to whether she would die for Harry. If you think about it, the Malfoys are rather cowardly, picking on a 16-year old. I can see Moody's instincts are as sharp as ever. Aww, Harry bought Ginny a cat. Great chapter.
I was worried about how Harry's gift to Ginny would be received. I felt bad for him when Ginny left crying. Wow--so the Minister's been killed. I wonder who the new Minister will be. I was impressed with Ellie's show of temper and power. She must have inherited some of her grandfather's magical power. Great chapter.
It was good to see Ellie take control of Draco. I was a little surprised to see Ellie recognize Neville. I liked Ellie's talk with Harry about remembering Sirius. I know that Sirius would want Harry to have a good time. He's so young with so many responsibilities.
I can wait a couple of chapters as long as Ellie lives. Harry doesn't need to lose her yet. Great chapter.
I kind of had a feeling that Ellie would be the DADA teacher. How funny that the gossip was that she was Albus' wife. Sometimes the craziest rumors spread and Hogwarts is no different. You did a great job on the Sorting Hat's song--quite frankly no one does those well in my opinion. The most important part was the ending. I enjoyed Ellie's first lecture. Great chapter.
What a tear jerker. I think there have to be at least a couple of those in every Harry Potter story. I liked the idea of a "We Saved Harry Potter" club in heaven. Great chapter.
I really like the concept of a second prophecy. I choose to be hopeful like Dumbledore. Ellie has to live on to save Harry again. Excellent chapter.
I forgot to mention before, I love the name Snuffles for Ginny's cat. I'm so happy Harry and Ginny got together. I see Snape is up to his old tricks. Great chapter.

I think there's an art to accepting a gift. I've gotten to the point that if someone gives something to me I just accept it rather than protesting. Sometimes people just find a gift and think of you so they buy it. I do that a lot. I think I enjoy giving people gifts as much as receiving them. Great chapter.

I guess if I were Hermione I'd be very confused. I don't think I could act as boldly as she does. It is nice to fantasize though. If I had had a professor like Snape I probably would've taken a chance and flirted with him. :D
Severus is clever and tricky. He really knows what Hermione likes. Unfortunately that makes it easier for him to manipulate her.
Neither one of them seems too upset at the charade the Dark Lord has ordered. I' m confident that Severus will be able to manipulate the situation to his benefit.
By reading Subversa's work, I became a believer in the Good Ship HG/SS. I was looking at her work today and saw that she had one favorite author, you. So, I decided to check out your stories. This is a great start although I thought you got into Severus lusting after Hermione a little soon. But, this was a great chapter. It was well written and that's iimportant to me. And, why not jump into the story right away. I look forward to continuing this story.
