My name is Daniel and I'm back from another Hiatus! Sad to see the place isn't as full as it used to be, but absolutely loving the stories I'm finding! Would love to hear from any of you to chat or if you need Beta services.

I don't know if this is AU or anything, but it was listed as historical, but this first chapter keeps saying 'young' when refering to Albus and Grindelwald, but Albus was born in 1881, making him roughly sixty during this time period, and I know Grindelwald was of similar age. Not a big deal really as it is fan fiction, but I thought I would have me a nerd moment =]

Author's Response: You're right about Albus' age. I thought I had edited that out. I kind of wanted the characters to think he looked young, but I should have been more clear on that. Thank you very much for the review and for catching that mistake.

Uncovered by Death by Equinox Chick

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: All Scorpius Malfoy had wanted on the Saturday before Halloween was to spend some time in Hogsmeade alone with his girlfriend, Lily Potter. But Fate appeared to have other plans. Not only is her annoying cousin Hugo Weasley tagging along, but in the aftermath of a violent storm, a body is uncovered.

Working with his boss, Head Auror Harry Potter, to discover the identity of the victim, and the truth of her death, Scorpius quickly learns that not all skeletons are buried underground.

This is a the sequel to High. It is not necessary to read that to understand this, but what the heck, you might just enjoy it!

Many, many thanks to Kara (Karaley Dargen) for not only beta'ing this story, but putting up with the tortuous search for a title.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling, but I think you know that.

Uncovered by Death won the 2013 QSQ for Best Chaptered Next Generation Story. Thank you very much.

Simply amazing. I have found myself binge reading chapter after chapter, even having tears well in my eyes during your depiction of the Battle of Hogwarts. Some of the best writing I have read in a long time. Rowling would be proud! Bravo!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! That really means a lot to me :)

Through The Storm- The End Was Just The Beginning by HarryJamesPotter10

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: This story picks up where the books left off, mostly canon, and it follows almost all major plot points revealed by Rowling about the future. I'll be starting slow but I promise it won't be boring. I will be adding things that aren't strictly canon but aren't technically contrary to it either. This could be classified as adventure, action, romance, with elements of mystery now and then. No bashing, normal pairings, Hallows, Aurors, and Death Eaters.

Two major differences from canon, but you'll see why later as they kind of make the story. Hope it keeps you interested.

Very well written! Can't wait for more! As a quick note, there are a few small mistakes I noticed. First, there are a few typos I noticed. Nothing big at all, just letting you know so you and you're beta readers can be on the lookout. Secondly, I noticed two occasions when you had people using the summoning spell Accio on the Deathly Hallows. If memory serves, the canon mentions that the Hallows were immune to such spells. No big deal if you wanted that changed for whatever reason, but thought I would mention it in case it was an oversight. For your reference, the two cases you had them do this was Harry trying to find the stone in the forest, and Ginny summoning Harry's Elder Wand in the Lestrange vault.

Again, great writing! I'm eager to read more and love how well you are portraying the characters!

Author's Response: Hey Morbius thanks for taking the time to leave me a review :). I'll try and keep a lookout for them but those pesky little words occasionally fall through the gaps. Google docs just doesn't do a great job catching a lot of them. In regards to the Deathly Hallows and the accio spell... I actually found no research pointing to the fact that the wand and stone couldn't be summoned. Only the cloak. I only know because I thought the same thing you did until my beta pointed it out. I think the cloak is just special because of its hiding powers ect. If you have direct info that points otherwise though let me know and I'll change it :)

The Aurors by FloreatCastellum

Rated: 6th-7th Years •

Author's Response: Thanks so much!
