The Sweetest Sin by annie

Rated: Professors •
Summary: In the years following Voldemort's victory in the second war, Muggle-borns must become slaves and servants to pure-bloods in order to survive. Over time, Hermione Granger has learned to suppress her pride and independence in households where she is considered lower than dirt. She thought she would be prepared for this new family, just like she was for all the previous ones. What she didn't know was that this new family was none other than Draco Malfoy's. Will she manage hold up when she finds herself struggling to withhold her sharp tongue, returning hatred, and...something else?

Wow, absolutely amazing. I only started reading your story last night (at around 2am :P), but I have now read all of the chapters. With each chapter, my addiction to this story increased. At first, I was a little sceptical about Hermione being a slave for Draco, but your amazing writing captured me and I knew you would pull through. When you explained that Voldemort had won the war, it all clicked together. Your writing style and choice of words is absoltely stunning. I have read my fair share of fanfictions, but I think your story is my favourite. The plot is intruiging and captivating, and has kept me on edge the whole way. I was stupidly grinning when Draco and Hermione finally kissed, and when Hermione went into the forbidden room on the third level, I felt this excited feeling that I often get when I figure out something. You portray the characters perfectly and I feel so attached to them now. Sorry for the long review, but I just wanted to let you know that your hard work and dedication to this story is truly appreciated. Please update when you get the chance and I will be readily waiting. :)

Wow, that was an excellent chapter. I love your writing, it seems very professional. I loved: “He’s disgustingly smitten, isn’t he?” Sirius commented after the door had shut behind James. Remus and Peter both stared at him. “If you’ve just figure that out,” Remus told him, “you don’t deserve to be a Marauder.” Haha, very clever. I also liked how you had Sirius, Lupin, and Jocelyn sitting around the fire debating about the scenarios. Very well done. :)

Amazing, amazing, amazing! I believe I have reviewed your story before, but I absolutely LOVE it! I think this is my favourite fanfiction of all time. I have found a lot of really excellent authors, but their stories have little plot. But your writing is very intruiging and concise, and your plot is very well thought out (or appears to be so) and exciting. I love your choice of words and you present the characters perfectly. 10/10 without a doubt, and please keep up the amazing work.

Very nice. I actually laughed (which is hard to get me to do) and read my brother the "The Brilliant Author: You know what? Harry’s pretty fit when he’s angry. Americans in Audience: Fit?" lines, and he laughed (which is even harder to do). :P So great job, I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response: Ooh, so are you British? *is suddenly very interested* I'm not, but I have fun confusing my friends by throwing in British words and slang occasionally. xD The next chapter is in queue at the moment -- keep checking for it.
