I am 23 years old and live in the UK, in the South-West.
I decided to join Mugglenet after reading a few fics and being seriously impressed by the quality of the writing, not that I expect my work to be as good!
I am, of course, a Harry Potter fan and I have been since I was 10 years old (still waiting for that letter *sigh*). Nowadays, I like reading practically anything I can get my hands on, fiction or non-fiction.

I really like this story! I think you have characterized George and Ginny really well. The part where you described the clock was very moving.

Author's Response: Thank you for reading and reviewing! I'm glad you liked this chapter:)

A Darker Nightmare by Nagini Riddle

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Her heavy despondent face stared morosely at the thick dust on the wooden floors. Just dust. Dust covering up the wear and tear of poverty. Dust proving the abandonment and desolation of happiness and love. Dust, dust, dust.

She herself was a mess. True, she was slightly more clean than her father or brother, but still, dirt stuck to her pale skin. Dirt covering up the wear and tear of poverty. Dirt proving the abandonment and desolation of happiness and love. Dirt, dirt, dirt.

Poor Merope :-( I always felt sorry for her. But still, I like your story! I wonder what the rattling in the cupboard was...

Author's Response: Boggarts, though harmless, I think are probably one of the worst creatures because they mess with your mind. I didn't specifically say that the rattling was a Boggart, but that was because Merope possibly would not know it was a Boggart, having never attended Hogwarts (at least, that's what Potter Wiki says, and I'm inclined to agree). I love Merope, and if I could, she would get to live happily ever after. But unfortunately, JKR didn't write her character that way. Maybe Merope could learn in time to fight her fears, but for now, she is terrified of anything that harms her. Thanks for your review!
