I've loved hp since I was about 10, and I've loved writing since about that time too. I've got a lot of ideas for new fanfics, the only problem is actually getting the time to put them on paper. Or screen. Or both. XD
I'm really happy with how "a mourning to remember" turned out. It was my first fanfic, and now I'm addicted. As is life. :D
At the moment I am working on some other fics, (Ron/Hermione, and other types too) but they definitely are still works-in-progress, for sure.
that was cute! you seemed to capture what lily would have acted like, along with james and definetly sirius. (hey lils, lol) good job!
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Sirius is naughty. ~Carole~
nice, i really enjoyed that. at first i was kind of confused as to why there was 6 different versions of harry instead of 6 different imposters, but it all made sense in the end. very clever fic indeed, i laughed at the part "stay in canon, stay in canon" that was great. all in all, very well done!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review! I'm glad it all worked itself out at the end. I was worried it might seem a bit odd, lol. I'm glad you enjoyed it, I really appreciate such a lovely first review! ~Gina :)

Holy Movie Canon, Batman! This fic won the 2011 Quicksilver Quill Award for Best Chaptered Humor Story. Thanks so, so much!

this is very interesting because it shows how the book versions collide with script versions, and really, how the books collide with the movies. good job!
Author's Response: Thanks! I have more chapters planned, but they are not quite ready yet. :)
oh, i loved that! it was heartbreaking at first, but later, it was so tender and sweet and raw (much like ron and hermiones' relationship.) i really do love your writing, weasely mom. you really seem to have a talent for writing about ron/hermione. keep going!
Author's Response: Oh, what a nice thing to say. I am truly trying to branch out a bit with other characters, but I always come back to R/Hr in the end. They are the ones my brain sort of defaults to, if that makes sense. Thanks again for the lovely review. :)
dang! i wasnt expecting it to end like that, with ron and hermione getting back together again. i have to admit that i was really happy about it, me being the avid ron/hermione shipper that i am. with most of the dramione-type fics it ends with them just being together forever and all that jazz. but like i said before, you made hermione's relationship with draco that much more realistic and relatable. once again, great job and im very glad u finished it. so happy ron and hermione are back together again! squee! good stuff. :D
Author's Response: Thank you very much. I have a problem with Dramione, in general, because it tends to either ignore or demonise Ron. Plus it also ignores Hermione's friendship with Harry and how that would be broken if she took up with Draco, so I wanted this to be plausible and within the confines of canon. I'm glad you liked the ending. I do actually like Ron very much, but am not convinced him and Hermione would have had a perfect relationship (does anyone?) so I wanted to explore that as well. Thanks again ~Carole~
this story is intruiging. you really got into what draco is feeling, the tortured man that he is. usually, im not a advocate for draco/hermione fics, (im not going to lie) but your story makes that pairing much more realistic. i also thought you did a excellet job of capturing what hermione felt when she encountered malfoy manor again. i really enjoyed reading this, and i hope you add more on to it. :)
Author's Response: Thank you. I'll let you in on a secret, I'm not really an advocate of non canon pairings either, but I did want to see if I could make one feasible. The fact that you find this plausible means a lot to me. I will be adding to this because I've actually finished the story. There are 6 chapters in total. Thanks again ~Carole~
you did do it again, i loved it. in response to some peoples comments that hermione is acting "out of character" i do believe that hermione does seem to act a bit differently than she usually does, but let's see, nearly getting killed more times than you can count, running from only god knows what, and getting your heart dashed into a million tiny pieces would make anyone a little upset and just a smidge irrational. :) shes pissed at first, (anyone would be) but then she sees him again, and those feelings get pushed by the wayside because she truly cares about ron. nice job. :D
Author's Response: Thanks so much. I'm glad you liked this. You know, I've been thinking about this whole OOC thing... several times folks have said she was OOC and then agreed that these are intense circumstances, so who knows? I guess maybe it comes down to semantics, and I just wouldn't call it OOC. Because in my life, when I am pressed to the breaking point, I might act out in ways that would surprise those who know me best. And here, Hermione has really been pressed, and she's not talking about it to anyone, and this is the kind of emotional turmoil and inner dialogue that could really happen. (Well, if she were real, of course... hehe.) Anyway. Just thinking out loud, I guess. Thanks again for reading and reviewing--I appreciate it so much!
great job! it did remind me of ootp, and i loved the gap, both age wise and other wise, between lily and james. i thought you captured his and albus's characters quite well, along with everyone else. i hope you keep writing more next generation stuff, i enjoyed it a lot. keep writing! :D
Author's Response: Thanks for the review!! I'm glad you liked it so much. Yes, it was a lot like OotP - partially that's my lack of creavity, and partially because it creates and interesting parallel between them and their parents. I'm glad you liked how I wrote the gap between Lily and James and my characterisations. Thanks so much for reviewing, it makes my day :).
i think it is unusual, but in a good way. :) nice job, and keep writing!
Author's Response:
Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. Have a nice night.
~Jess
aww, i loved this fanfic. it was tender in all the right places, and gives u that warm fuzzy feeling at the end. i cant wait to read the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you! Hearing that the story gave you a warm fuzzy feeling made my day!
i loved this poem! i think you really captured the feelings and internal stuggles that each of these guys went through. i also liked how the definition of remorse changed as the point of view changed. the internal rhyming, (or at least i think it was that) worked very well. good job, and keep writing! :)
Author's Response: Thanks! You're right, the guys - Harry, Ron, Remus, Peter and Tom - all had internal struggles while they felt remorse. And, of course, like a lot of words in the English dictionary, remorse has multiple meanings, and I'm glad you picked that up in my poem. I'm glad you think the rhyming worked, I was pretty worried about that, so I'm relieved that you thought it worked. Thank you for your review.
~Soraya~
wow, that was intense. incredibly sad, of course, but the imagery was beautiful. its very interesting to read about what could have happened if voldy won. all i can say is, after reading this, thank god jk had the right side win in the end. :)
Author's Response: LOL, thanks so much :) xx
aww, i loved this! i always kind of wondered what had happened to neville after the battle. u really captured his character, how he would have reacted to all of the attention that he was suddenly receiving. also, in a short amount of time, u also captured the essence of hannah and nevilles relationship, which was very sweet and unfulfilled. (at least until now.) good job, and i hope u keep writing. :D
Author's Response: Thanks for the sweet review. I'm glad to hear you liked it. I always felt that Neville and Hannah's relationship started off as friends first and then grew into something more over the span of that horrible year at Hogwarts. I will keep writing. Don't you worry :)
i really liked this, the rhyming is what made it, and though the syntax and word choice you used in this story, it makes it easy for anyone to relate to. this story could be about anyone, (except maybe the "catching the eyes of pretty witches part", but you never know, some girls might be like that.) good job, and keep writing! :D
Author's Response: Thanks for the review, and I definitely will try to keep writing! :)
aww, i really like this one! i love me some ron/hermione fanfics. ;) it was so sweet, and not ooc with anyone, it was lovely. i hope you add more to it, i'd love to read more. :D
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm very glad you liked it.
very nice, i loved seeing this newfound depth that you have added to draco's character. the christmas carol theme is cool too, put's you in the holiday mood. you really seemed to capture the essence of who draco his, the way he thinks, the things he does...good job! :D
Author's Response: Thank you. I've only just become interested in Draco and the possibilities of his redemption. I don't think he became a saint, but there was some good in him. Glad you're enjoying the story. ~Carole~
very nice, i like this a lot, i hope u add more to it. i cant wait to read more. :D
LOVED IT!! i must admit, im not a big dramione person, but i thought that this story was told in a particularly realistic way. (in terms of how draco and hermione got together that is.) i wish there was more to it though. :(
you really got into dracos head, and you personified him beautifully by what he says and what he does. gold star for you! good job, and keep writing. :)
Author's Response: T H A N K Y O U ! ! ! The story's not done yet madam! :)
oh, that almost made me cry, and not a lot of fics do that. (especially when ron was holding jean for the first time, and of course, when she passed away.) i remember learning about SIDS in my child development class, but somehow it hits closer to home when you see it to happen to someone you know. (even though hermione isnt someone i dont personally know, yada yada yada.) you get what i mean though? the way you added to hermione's character, with dialouge and otherwise, was spot on. it was quite sad, but very beautiful at the same time. i loved it. :D
Author's Response: Wow!! Thanks for all the praise. I'm really pleased that you thought the way I added to Hermione's character was spot on, and especially that you liked the scene when Ron first held Jean, as I sometimes have issues writing Ron. I've never known anyone whose had anything to do with SIDS either, but I think it's just such a terribly sad thing to happen to people and I was really inspired by this song to write it.
So anyway... I don't know if I've ever had such a glowing review, you've really made my day!! Thanks.
I am ron lover of Gryffindor and this is my final for the Missing Moments class on the MNFF Beta Boards.
i liked this a lot, and i also liked what someone said before, (the fact that these characters really slip into the world we already know.) question: when robert is saying goodbye to his parents to go back to hogwarts, do they try to keep him from leaving because they know whats going on there now? or are they still half asleep and what he says doesnt really sink in for them until hes gone? just curious. :D
anyway, i hope u add on to this, id love to see what happens next. :)
Author's Response: I am pretty sure that you questions will be answered in the next chapter, so it would be unwise of me to tell you now! I'm not sure when the next chapter will be up, but hopefully within a few weeks! Thank you for reading and reviewing!
