I've loved hp since I was about 10, and I've loved writing since about that time too. I've got a lot of ideas for new fanfics, the only problem is actually getting the time to put them on paper. Or screen. Or both. XD
I'm really happy with how "a mourning to remember" turned out. It was my first fanfic, and now I'm addicted. As is life. :D
At the moment I am working on some other fics, (Ron/Hermione, and other types too) but they definitely are still works-in-progress, for sure.
i really liked this actually. it was interesting to see from ernies' perspective and from the perspective of someone who hadnt really been introduced before in the books. i found it refreshing though.
just one thing, though: im not sure if this would be ok for a first or second year reader to read, maybe a 3rd-5th year, but thats just my opinion. you can take it with a grain of salt. i thought the dialogue was very witty and smartly paced, and it made it that much more enjoyable for me. good job, and i hope u add more to it. :D
Author's Response: I do agree with you on the ratings – it really isn’t suited for 1st-2nd years. I have edited that part. Thanks! I am also glad to know you enjoyed it. I do like experimenting with new pairings which exclusively involve minor characters. : )
Nominated for a 2011 Quicksilver Quill Award in Best General Story.
That was amazingly fantastic! Brought tears to my eyes. :S Makes me want to 1) watch part 1 again just for that scene, 2) find that smashing pumpkins song, and 3) listen to "o children" again, in that order.
It's no wonder you got a award for this fic, it was just great. :D
Author's Response: Thanks so much! What a lovely review to wake up to :) The award means that the fic has been 'featured' in the side-bar but it makes me grin anyway. I hope you do listen to the Smashing Pumpkins song. I sort of associate it with this scene now, along with 'O Children'.
yay, loved it! please add more! i really enjoyed your versions of the adult ron and hermione, you nailed it. :D
Author's Response: Thanks so much for that review! the next chapter has been submitted for approval, so cross your fingers! and thanks for the thing about adult ron and hermione . . . i wondered how my versions would seem, but i'm glad i nailed it, even if you're the only one who thinks so!
i really like this, but then again, i adore anything you write, so im a bit biased. :) are you adding more to it? i'd love to know.
Author's Response: Oh, what a kind thing to say. :) I hope I don't disappoint you anytime soon. Haha. Thanks for reading and reviewing -- I really appreciate it!
oh, i just saw the "one shot" label you had on your piece....oops. :)
Author's Response: :) no problem.
Just a fun little one-shot, dedicated to Lori (WeasleyMom), the Queen of all things Romione.
i loved it! this was a great little snapshot of ron and hermione's life after dh, but before the epilogue too. great oneshot! :D
Author's Response: Hey, thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. =)
And the plot thickens! im interested to see where this goes. keep going! :)
Author's Response: Thank you for your review! :)
aww, that was adorable! my favorite ship, no doubt. i hope you write more. :D
Author's Response: Fluff, fluff, fluff. Ain't it great? ;) Don't worry; I'm working on it. :)
very disturbing and creepy, but it definitely works for this piece. is this a one shot, because it would be cool if you could add more to this. im very interested to see what happens next. you really seemed to capture greybacks pov...good job!
Author's Response: Sorry, but this is one chapter only. Your imagination as to the next chapter is probably much more vivid than mine. Thank you for the review.
As the world around them darkens, Lily, James and the Marauders struggle to find reasons to live - friendships, love, and the future.
Now a series of one-shots!
great! it was nice to see some light stuff despite all the darkness and decay of those scary times. loved the way you portrayed the characters and the setting, nicely done. :D
Author's Response: Thanks! I tried to put my own twist on the characters. In most fanfics, you know, Remus doesn't snog anybody...
oh, i enjoyed the dickens quote too...it fit very nicely in with the context of the story. i was wondering if you were also making a connection about how similar those stories are, notably the theme of sacrifice between "tale of two cities" and the hp series? (the main people who sacrifice themselves to save the people they love... carton in dickens world and lily in hp?) i thought that was cool if u did intend to draw that line between them. :)
Author's Response: I actually had no intention of drawing that connection, but now that you mention it, it does fit perfectly. So let's pretend it was deliberate. I was trying more to get at the feelings Lily and James must have been experiencing at the time - all the feelings of loss that you feel as you exit your teens and childhood, plus the scariness of having to live in the "real world."
aww, very cute; i hope u keep writing! :)
Author's Response: Thanks, and I will definitely keep writing, your review means so much ;)
this was great! just the description made me laugh. XD
this fic provided insight into Ron's character that I never thought of before, it was...just awesome! this story is shaping up to be one of my fav fics by you. Keep writing! :D
It was great! As usual WeasleyMom swoops in for the kill and delivers a whole lot of awesome! The dialogue fit with each and every character that was used, the description was just enough so i could picture it, and the plot itself was...heartbreaking. But in a good way. You're the reason i really started fanfic, and that reason rings with every sentence that's read. (That's a lot of R's i know.) :D
Thank you for writing, who knows what would have happened if i hadn't read "Scenes of Shell Cottage" when i did? By the way, i loved the symbolism of closing the door on the night, it worked so perfectly in the context of this fic. Fantastic.
Author's Response: Wow, thanks so much for all of that. I'm glad you thought the end worked with the symbolism of the door. I really appreciate you always reading and taking the time to leave a review. It means a lot!

I've never felt this way before.Â
Fleur struggles with life and war. A missing moment from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.Â
This is WeasleyMom of Hufflepuff writing for the Great Hall Bannermaker's Challenge. The banner used was Doubts by TM_WandStick. I chose this banner immediately Toni--so gorgeous!Yay! Those lovely SBBC people have added this story to the SBBC Hall of Fame! I knew there was a reason I joined that group. Hehe. Thanks, you guys!
Â
Thanks so much to Natalie/hestiajones for beta reading this so close to the submission deadline. She is everything she is cracked up to be.Â
I'm not JK Rowling. This is exactly what I needed; some quality fanfic that really gets me thinking about stuff of the hp universe and adds depth to characters I had never really analyzed before. As the series progressed, it turned out Fleur was more than just a pretty face (and a gifted witch.)
But this story really brought that point home to me, moreso than any other piece had before. (Not to sound blasphemous or anything.) D:
Anyway, kudos for another great yarn, albeit a short one. :D
Author's Response: Aw, thanks so much. It's fun exploring some of the characters that are not as often the focus of fanfic stories. I was inspired by the banner for this story and the mood it portrayed... it was fun to write. Thanks for always taking the time to leave a review... I appreciate it so much!
It's Harry's first Halloween, but the raging thunderstorm prevents an overly eager Lily from taking him out to trick-or-treat. Instead, she, James, and Sirius spend one of their last carefree moments together.
I loved it, but at the same time it felt very bittersweet for me too. The part about Halloween being Lilys favorite holiday made me feel a bit sad. :( Anyway, excellent job, very well written. :D
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I know, I couldn't help making it a little bit sad, having Lily's favorite holiday be the one she was murdered on. On the other hand, it's nice to think that they weren't always surrounded by the fear of death and dying and that they dreamed of having a real future. Thanks again xx Ariana
oh boy, this is getting more and more intense...i almost don't want to hear the whole story, (almost) but then another part of me really really wants to hear it! please update soon! :D
Author's Response: Chapter 3 should be up soon. It might be pretty miserable for a while, but I promise that at some point things will turn around for Lily <3
oops, that last review was meant for the second chapter...my bad. :D
Author's Response: okay :P
I'm intrigued, not gonna lie. Lately I haven't read too much next-generations stuff, but I'm pumped to see what's coming next. :)
Author's Response: Thank you very much <3
wow, that was really good! I had usually avoided au fics, but this one convinced me to pursue them. :D I'm really interested to see where this goes, please update soon! D:
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm trying to get chapter 3 uploaded. The entire story is already on fanfiction.net but I'm getting them posted here as well. It's also a way for me to improve my writing by going back and changing things from how they were when I first wrote them.
