Hate to be so boorish, but, i'm tired of checking this website and being disappointed. Update please!

Author's Response: *is sufficiently chastised* :*( I know. I'm really sorry. It is frustrating for me, as well. I get on a roll and feel like things are going fast, then I get hit by real life and it all comes to a screeching halt. *sigh* The next chapter is actually written, but my beta has had computer difficulties and I am unable to find a temporary interim beta. I really don't want to post without a good beta check. The story is getting a little more complicated and darker, things that I'm not sure of my ability to present well, so I really need the second set of eyes. I'm trying to save you from confusion and melodrama! LOL I hope it will be up soon. Forgive me for the horrific lack of updating. I really hope you aren't disappointed in the chapter when it is up. I had hoped to have the one that comes after it as a 'Christmas Gift', but alas, it doesn't seem that it was meant to be. At this point, I'll just be relieved to have something by then. Hope you are, too. Thanks for the tongue lashing/motivational poke. ;)
