A Hero Never Cries by annie

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Seven years after the second war, Ginny Weasley can still remember everything. Seven years after Voldemort prevailed over Harry, she's still broken. These are her thoughts and memories, written down seven years after the greatest horror the world has ever known. A heartbreaking tale that describes the months before, during, and after the war from Ginny's PoV.

The last chapter has been sent in. Thanks for reading, everyone!

All I have to say is WOW! You really know how to capture a person's attention! This story is VERY well-written. When reading it, I felt all the dispair, hoplessness, and sadness that Ginny is feeling. Also, the fact that you made Harry lose the fight against Voldermort was an amazing touch. VERY good! Good job!

The Battle Within by annie

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Months after the second war has ended, Harry Potter has become lost in himself. Every evening is the same routine for him: wake up, wander the streets until the sun sets, sit in a pub and drink the night away, then return to wandering the streets. Then, one evening, he goes to visit Ginny.

Hi! I've just got to say that your story is one of the best I've read! The emotion in Harry's voice is so raw, and Ginny is very in character. The storyline is well written and well thought out. I got a bit teary-eyed as I read, and I think this is a great one shot! Keep it up!

Hi there! I just want to say, I am VERY intrigued by your story at the moment. I don't believe I have ever read a James/Lily fic with this take on it, and I enjoy the fact that James is a professor (though I would have thought he would be teaching Transfiguration, lol). It is really unique. Very original, I like it! Please update soon! I am interested to see where you are going to take this. Keep it up!

Author's Response: thank you so much for the interest and the kind words. if you like, you can find the story at Fanfiction.net here and here if you just happen to be Portugese.

Hi there! I just wanted to say I really liked this one-shot. The title was very catching and creative, and when I noticed that it was in present tense, it pulled me in even more. I really enjoyed that tense you used. I also liked how you described the details throughout. I find this very interesting since most one-shots about Lily and James are the "serious, romance" type where Lily admits she has feelings for James. This was very cute, and it was quite cunning what Lily did at the end. Good job, and keep it up!!

Author's Response: Thankyou! I feel the same way about J/L one shots, in that they are usually about a heartfelt declaration of feelings between the two, so I partly wrote this as a (hopefully) refreshing difference. I'm glad you liked the alternate writing style, I wasn't sure whether or not people would be receptive to that... Seriah x Also, I love your Too Sweet To Remember fic! Good luck with that!

Hi there!! First off, I just want to say, great philosophical opening. It really opens up the prologue very well, and since most readers know that this fic is about Snape, it really makes one think about his past and if he really is good or evil. Snape's brief family background stated is quite accurate (at least in my mind), and it really makes you feel for him. I liked the sarcasm of calling Snape's father "charming". To be quite honest, I'm actually a huge James Potter fan, and don't particularly like the whole Snape/Lily, but you are intriguing me with this start. Please update soon, I'm really interested to read some more!

Author's Response: thanks for the review<3 i just submitted ch1, so it should be up sometime soon perhaps.
