This story was awesome, I really enjoyed it and I have put it in my favorites. I love stories from Draco's point of view, and I must say this is one of the best ones i have read yet. Thanx!
Great follow up story to Summer of Year One. I am a huge Pansy/Draco fan, and I think you did an excellent job portraying Draco in his earlier years. This story and your first one (which I just barely read before this one) really made my night. I'm going to recomend them to my mother and brother to read. So can we expect a third?
Author's Response: thx very much! :) i have started the third one, but am only about 10 pgs into it. i suppose since i have people waiting for me to get my stories up here i'd better get a move on hehe. thanks so much for commenting, i like knowing what people are thinking when they read my stuff lol.
First off, I want to say I really enjoyed this fanfic. Definetly one of the better post-hbp stories I've read. I thought Ursula Hardwick was a pretty cool charcter but I think Moody would have been a little more careful when selecting a serch party. I really liked the Pensieve scenes. I do not know if Dumbledore would have had students preform the Unbreakable Vow. It seems a little to dangerous. Great story though, I've added it to my favorites. I just wish it was longer.
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it! First, regarding Moody: he rarely spoke to Ursula during the years after she quit the Ministry, so he would not have known what she was up to. Everyone makes mistakes, in this case Moody just didn't expect an old friend to start working for Voldemort.
In regards to the Unbreakable Vow...I hope to answer that question in the back-story to this fic. Dumbledore was their Bonder, but he did it very reluctantly. He was extremely concerned about Snape and knew that Ursula was the only person Snape would actually come to with information. Sorry I can't say much more, it'll all make sense later. However, the backstory won't be up for a few months, I'm currently working two jobs and rarely have time to sit down and write (my brain is totally fried at the moment). If you liked the Pensieve scenes, though, you'll definitely like the backstory. Ursula and Bellatrix REALLY hate each other (like Harry and Draco, but they're in the same house and never hold back from hexing each other), while Ursula and Lucius have a love/hate relationship...or should I say lust/hate? *snicker* Hopefully I'll have that fic ready by the new year.
Good story, i enjoyed it. I had been wondering what Dumbledore and Snape's relationship was like behind closed doors and why Albus had trusted Snape all these years.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! We're glad you enjoyed it! Yes, it's our little interpretation, but I think it would have had to have been a pretty darn good reason for him to trust Snape so. ~Aeryn (of aerynfire)
Awesome story SeaIsleWitch, I am a huge Draco/Pansy fan, and your storry was just what I needed. I think you portrayed Draco's character perfectly and I defintely have an even bigger crush on Pansy Parkinson after reading this fanfic. Thank you. I'm reading How Ever Far Away next, I'll let you know what i think.
Author's Response: A Draco/Pansy shipper? I don't believe it! Finally! *wipes stupid grin off face* Geelincoln, keeping Loverboy!Draco in character was definitely top on my list, I'm glad you think I succeeded. Draco knows a good thing when he sees it too and I am so glad you saw Pansy as I meant her: beautiful, strong, talented, devious, and confident, yet vulnerable to Draco’s charms. She is worthy of a crush! In Part II of the Trilogy, How Ever Far Away, more of Pansy’s character and upbringing is revealed. I hope you’ll give it a try. Chapter One is now posted. (Chapter 2 and 3 are not far behind.) Thanks for reading and leaving me a satisfying review! LOL!
Yet another great Pansy story SeaIsleWitch. I can't wait for more. Good song too. Tori Amos also did a beautiful cover of this tear-jerking The Cure song. You should check it out if you have not yet heard her version. Keep up the good work.
Author's Response: My Draco/Pansy shipper is first to review! I'm glad you came back for more Slytherin-style drama, geelincoln. The next two chapters are almost ready to post, so it shouldn't be long. I’m working on 4 and 5 right now. Then Part II will be complete. I don’t think I’ve heard the Tori Amos version of Love Song. I'll give it a listen. I just love the 311 version, though. It’s got that something extra…that indefinable quality that gets me every time.
