Hi, I'm CA. I used to be a college student studying (in a loose sense of the word) Genetics and Biotechnology with a minor in Music. Now I'm a part-time secretary with no delusions of grandeur whatsoever.

I am an avid reader. Sometimes I write. Other preferred activities include playing piano, dancing, singing, and generally loving life.

I'm a member of Hufflepuff House. One of those "we'll take the lot" cases more than hard work or loyalty, I'm afraid.

Before I started writing fanfiction seriously, I hated romance. I wouldn't even read it here. Then I discovered Other Pairings and I've unleashed a great power of fluff. I hope you enjoy my work. Feel free to drop me a review if you get the notion.

My favorites right now are "We Need All the Allies We Can Get" and "Catchphrase." "Gratification and Justification" has its moments. "Don't Get Caught" is my one featured story.

The Daughter of Light by Magical Maeve

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: An Irish witch languishes in the darkness of her family home, confined by her father and circumstances. What will it take to bring her out of this exile? The chance to return to Hogwarts? The opportunity to participate in the fight against Voldemort and his Death Eaters? Or will it be Severus Snape, a man she did not expect to see again in her lifetime?

This is canon compliant to OoTP but written pre-HBP.

Reviews and constructive criticism are most welcome, and thanks go to Ashwinder who kindly beta read the chapters for me. :-)

Sorry, I noticed a small joke and couldn't help but tell you I appreciate it--little things like this, on top of the writing style, the vocabulary, the sentence structure, etc etc and so forth, make this story a joy to (re)read. Anyway, to tell you what I noticed--Maeve's pink cardigan. The house-elves wouldn't touch it--I wonder why?! Thank you, that made my day to notice that. Have a nice day! *D*

Molly & Arthur - The Beginning by GringottsVault711

Oh, well, from Nikki's review, about making a ship in the Madam Puddifoot's forum, well, she did, and, because of this story, I'm part of it. This story was sweet and believable, and one of those stories that says "This is canon that JKR just didn't have room to put in the books." I thought you did a great job.

A 6th Year at Hogwarts by SomberBallad

Have you ever considered cutting out, say, half this chapter? It would leave even more of a "cliffie," and people would hate you when they read ch. 17. Eh, probably one of your best. Good action sequence, all that (but it would've been better if you'd stopped at "Harry thought quicker").

Author's Response: You know it's funny that you mentioned it because I had considered doing that, but that would have been a truly evil cliffie, they would be after me with spears lol! Maybe one day when I'm bored I'll switch it lol, but I did think about it!

Um, I couldn't find this in the Recently Added section. Hopefully it'll be there when I look next (I had to hunt for it). My favorite part of this chapter is the bet. I don't know why, it just is. Probably because it's so IC for Marauders. Well . . . You finished. Congratulations. I always look up to those who finish their novel-long fics. Have A Nice Day! *D*

Author's Response: I really liked the bet too! I'm glad you liked it as well. Thank you so much for your help as well (Cinderella Angelina is my beta everyone...she's awesome), I couldn't have done it without you.

I should leave a review every time I read this story. Maybe I have....

At any rate, I just (accidentally) read it all the way through again! Fabulous work, just like all the other times.

I'm reading this again! I wasn't in the mood to buy an e-book and figured out that I could read this on my device, so...here it goes again. It's apparently only been 7 months since last time. But I have to read something on my train ride. I just like this series.

I started your story this morning. I'm too lazy to log in usually, but this chapter made me cry when it got to Ginny's letter, so I thought I ought to let you know that your writing moved me . . . Truth be told, I read most of your other stories this morning, not the one about Siobhan though (we'll see if I get to that one). Sorry I'm too lazy to log in and review most of the time, but I'll take this opportunity to let you know that I really enjoy your stuff. Very much. Enough that even though I'm supposed to be studying for my tests this week, I'm reading your story insted, and I'm already past whatever chapter this is. But I finally logged in and told you in this one review . . . I'll stop babbling now. Thank you very much, I appreciate you (and I'm excited that once I finish this one there's a sequel WIP that I can anxiously await).

I just found this story. It's too bad it's not finished . . . are you going to continue it or do you just not have time? I found this chapter pretty intriguing, although I am also a little confused about Volten's lineage. *sigh* And a cliffhanger at the end. Well, Good job on this chapter!

Author's Response: -slaps self- i had no idea so many people liked this story. i have chapter.. what is it? 16? done. so ill be putting that up in .. hopefully no time.

Reign O'er Me by cts

Well, Sirius doesn't leave any holes, does he? My favorite was Bill's stipulation: get a haircut!

I thought the cord connecting Harry and Ginny was funny, too. And a lot of Sirius' will was just like him, rather tongue-in-cheek.

Good job on this chapter!

The Simple Evolution of a Faceless Butterfly by Seren

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •

Ha, like Patrick, I'm sure you know why I'm reviewing.

However, I was thinking about this story the other day, and I decided that as soon as I remembered I was going to drop a review and ask if you were going to continue this story. I printed it off and read it during my statistics class last semester, and it was beautiful. I couldn't believe there wasn't more.

Although . . . I always thought Orla had dark hair. Is that just my fanon?

Anyway, it would really make me happy if this came to some sort of "resolution."

Thank you for your time. Have a nice day!

The Mugglenet Murder by Patches

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: BOOK 6 SPOILER! This is a story that is supposed to take place in RL. A witch helps to investigate the murder of a Harry Potter fan. I thought it would be fun to do a story involving the Harry Potter fandom.
Reviewer: Cinderella Angelina Signed
Date: 04/09/06 Title: Chapter 1: The Mugglenet Murder

I think it is so funny that you wrote this before HBP came out. Once I realized that, it made me appreciate the story even more. I also thought that the whole idea of the crime was very clever. Quite an enjoyable read, although there were a couple typos (sights instead of sites, that sort of thing, no big deal). Have a nice day! *D*

Author's Response: Hi. My name is Patches and you gave an awesome review to me for a story I wrote over a year ago, which you said you enjoyed. \"The MuggleNet Murder\". Right now I\'m working on a multiple chapter new story that should take some time to finish (maybe through the rest of the summer). The story, once again, takes place in Real Life and involves Harry Potter fans. This time, the very worst thing imaginable happens to Harry Potter fandom. The only copy of the manuscript for the last book has been stolen! Now, fans of the Harry Potter world band together and hire Catherine O\'Hara to find the stolen manuscript before a print deadline and save the day! Catherine uncovers a deadly conspiracy involving the Catholic Church and faces deadly perils of secret organizations and assassination plots coming from the Vatican itself. This time Catherine will have to enlist the help of MuggleNet moderators and other online Harry Potter sites to track down the evildoers and save the manuscript. But, like Catherine, I could use a little help. For starters I would actually like to use real moderators in the story. Preferably ones who actually live in London (or close to it) but I haven’t been able to raise any. If you know of any who would love to participate, please let me know. Also I was looking for some RL reference on J K Rowling. I remember during an interview she gave on A&E during a two hour special she actually showed an old notebook, which held all the secrets of the last chapter of Harry Potter. I would like that particular notebook to be the focus of the story. Do you know what that notebook looks like, exactly (like what colour it is)? I’m trying to find a video of that two-hour special from A&E but I haven’t had any luck. Not even on A&E’s website. Also, if you know of other websites with fans or moderators who would like to participate, please let me know. Hope to hear from you soon, Patches

Between Now and Then by erikthephantom

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: In this riveting sequel to the "acclaimed" Veiled Revelations, Voldemort has risen to his full strength and is threatening both the wizarding world and the muggle world in an attempt to gain total control. A small group of people - the Order of the Phoenix - are all that stand in his way. Join James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, and Lily Evans as they battle the most evil wizard the world has ever seen. (Reviews are always nice and appreciated - and Erik has rated this story 6th-7th years as a result of her incorrigible pride).

A nice bit of irony there, when Lily says that Harry will fly on the motorbike over her dead body. *tear* Sorry I'm such a silent reader, I'm really lazy and you know that it's great, anyway. Better to get lots of reviews on one chapter than reviews every chapter, right? . . .

Author's Response: haha exactly true! don't feel bad about being a "silent reader" (nice word choice, btw). It was only until recently that I began reviewing, cos I wanted reviews so bad, yet gave none. I figured it might help my kharma ;)

I read this this morning right before I went to school, and as I ate my breakfast I thought, No, he's wounded, he's not dead yet, he's just wounded, surely he must give Harry some last words or something. But . . . eh . . . whatever works. I also wonder about Hermione/Ron/Siobhan. (As a side note, I actually dreamed about Siobhan/Lucius last night . . . I've never read your story, either.) But it makes me wonder . . . what about it? Obviously Ron and Hermione still care about each other . . . oh, I'm not going to worry about it. If you don't clear it up by the end of the story, then I'll clamor for more, but I have trust that it will all work out. However it will all work out. AMP . . . scary. Dumbledore . . . he's just wounded. He's just wounded. I'll just keep telling myself that until you crash my little castle to pieces.

Author's Response: *zips lips on the status of Dumbledore* Yes, of course Ron & Hermione still care for each other, and they always will. The question is... are they still in love? And, I find it amusing that you dreamt about Siobhan/Lucius, LOL!

Anyway -- answers will be provided, but not in this response *runs*

Ah! Finally! I'm so glad you updated this story--I have been anxiously awaiting! And I think it really was worth the wait. The story's really starting to go now with the AMP (but I don't know if I believe that St. Mungo's is their target), and . . . I dunno, good chapter! I'm so excited--I worried that you'd given up. I guess I was just impatient.

Have a nice day! *D*

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it! And no, I'm not giving up :D Thanks for the review.

Okay, it's time to admit it. I've read your whole story. But I thought that as a start I'd review this chapter (your plot bunny doesn't seem to need much help on this tale by now, anyway) because, I don't know, it could be viewed as a turning point. Or maybe I just like how Snape tries to be all calculating and "aha, she's growing up just according to plan" without admitting to himself that he's starting to kinda like her. I mean, of course it's possible that he got her that locket just to put her more under his power, but it had to have a little bit of genuine thoughtfulness too. And just in case I never get around to reviewing any of your other chapters: I loved this story. And I don't even go for the Hermione/Snape stuff regularly. Thank you for keeping your plot bunny alive. Have a nice day!

I'm too lazy to requote waht winky said, but that first one was also one of my most favorite lines. I also choose to review this chapter because it marks another significant change in their relationship. And also there's a bit of Bill/Hermione flirting, which I thought was cool. Did I already thank you for making this not NC? I don't read anything more than PG-13 and I'm so glad that I got to read this story.

I wonder where this review will end up, I'm just typing into the box at the bottom of the page -- probably the first chapter. I'll try not to include any spoilers.

Anyway. I've been looking through all your reviews and am appalled to find that I have only given one ever! This will not do! I read your story all the way through the other day -- again. I love it so much.

I should at least go through the chapters and highlight my favorite bits or something, but I'm lazy. Maybe next time I read it -- which, given my current record, shouldn't be too far in the future.

Thanks for writing such an awesome story that I keep coming back!

Reviewer: Cinderella Angelina Signed
Date: 01/23/07 Title: Chapter 21: Epilogue: Weasleys

This always happens. I was reading this story just on Saturday, because that's what I do with my favorite books -- open up to the middle and just start reading -- and then, to my great surprise, it was updated. Of course, I did have inside information that it was finished, but I had no idea that you would get it up while you were...you know...abroad.

I really really wanted Percy to give in, but he didn't. I guess that's okay, because it was important for Laura and Mr. Wood to reconcile, but I still wish Percy had too. It was in character for him not to, though, so I understand. (The moment Percy smiled about office relationships, I thought I knew who he'd been "seeing", but I'm probably wrong so I won't say.)

Thank you a million times for finishing this. I'm going to go to the next chapter and see if I have anything to add to that. Have a nice day!

Author's Response: If I were to open up this story to start reading, I\'d open it to the middle, too, because the beginning chapters make me cringe. I hope that\'s a natural reaction when reading things written relatively long ago.

I really wanted Percy to give in, too, but I didn\'t want the fic to end on a perfectly-happily-ever-after note. Who knows, though? Perhaps in thirty or forty years, Laura and Percy will get over themselves and become friends again. ;-)

Thanks very much for reading and reviewing!

This line is probably my favorite line ever (and I still think about it):

'We just put two and two together."
"That's like putting two hundred and two together."
"Which is still not that difficult."

Is it embarrassing that I'm rereading this again? Naw.
