I love two things: Harry Potter and writing. I am also an aspiring author, and I am honored to do fan ficion for J.K. Rowling's wonderful series.

Regarding relationships: I do them, but only canon ones (e.g. Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, etc.). The only non-canon ship I like is Neville/Luna (and even that got a bit in the movie, or so I heard...).

Hope you like my stories!!!

NOT An Essay On The Life And Achievements Of Harry Potter by Goodbye_Earl

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary:

Lily Luna Potter is given History of Magic homework to write about the life and achievements of one Harry Potter, and (being the abnormal weirdo that she is) she decides to write it in verse. Sadly, Lily is labouring under the delusion that she is a talented poet, even though her rhyming is almost as good as her mother’s (as exhibited in CoS)…

Well this is what she wrote! Professor Binns won’t know what’s hit him...

A millon billion trillion Thank Yous to lunirina, who saved this from the horrific state it was in!

I can't help but giggle--I think you've clarified that Lily Potter is not exactly the world's best poet.

But I love it anyway!!

The Golden Gnome by mudbloodproud

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Christmas without Fred could never be the same. Even after ten years, Arthur Weasley felt the loss of his son as much as he had the first Christmas without him.

Could Fred’s namesake and a garden gnome help Arthur to learn to like Christmas again?

I should say there is a touch of mild violence and abuse to a garden gnome in this story. But it is all for a greater good.

Also, the spelling errors in Roxanne's speech are deliberate. She is only three after all.

Funny yet sad at the same time...and little Fred and Roxie are giving me cuteness overload...Excuse me while I go lie down.

Courage for Christmas by indigo_mouse

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Neville and Luna's last night before Christmas of their seventh year. Canon compliant because, you know, it could have happened that way!

I never thought of Luna as one who plays the viola, but...I like it!

And I got the "it's often infested with..." thing. She was gonna say, "nargles," wasn't she? Just like she said to Harry in OotP? Or was it HBP?

Anyhow. I love this story.

Author's Response: She was indeed going to say "nargles". Just like OotP. :-) I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I've always envisioned Luna playing the cello or the bassoon - something rather large and unusual. But the viola is a lovely instrument. And I love the name "viola".

Incredible by ginnyrulz13

Summary: Except:

Before I can rethink my actions, I'm running towards him.

This is it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it!

I kiss him.

Harry and Ginny kiss after the Quidditch game, but what happened afterwards? This is kind of the sequel to my fic "Invisible", but it can stand alone.
Song-fic to the song "Fearless" by Taylor Swift.

I love, love, love this! I love Taylor Swift, and I love thinking about Harry and Ginny's kiss from Ginny's point of view! Just love it!

Sorry. Should I stop saying that word? Anyhow, I think you did a great job on that story.

But- I'm British! by Trivia Camlee

OMG, that is SO FUNNY! I especially like the part in which Thomas starts yelling out random British phrases. I laughed out loud, I really did!!!!

I Will Survive by KarasAunty

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: CoS era: Ron meets Aragog and his charming family when Harry drags him along for a visit - and he is afraid. Very afraid... A hopefully humorous songfic from Ron's PoV, inspired by the Gloria Gaynor song of the same name.

I absolutley adore the song you do this songfic on. Your version is oh so funny (excuse the pun). I'm actually giggling, right now, as I write this. Great job.

A Perfect Fit by OHara

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Years after the events of "Deathly Hallows," Ron has an important question to ask Hermione. Can he ask it? What will she say?

One-shot.

I love it! Short & sweet, you know...Plus a lot is going on. I never knew proposals could be that nerve-wracking. Then again, I've never proposed or been proposed to, so what would I know? :)

Anyway, great story!

Author's Response:

I'm so happy that people are still reading and enjoying this story! I'm surprised that everyone seems to enjoy this one so much, since "short and sweet" is not my usual genre.

And I, like you, have exactly zero experience with proposals of any kind, but I figured that Ron would be pretty jumpy about it.

Anywho, thanks for reading and reviewing! It means a lot to me that people like what I've written!

Lost In Translation by sorrow_of_severus

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: After young Percy Weasley uncharacteristically takes his brother Charlie's dare to sneak into Ottery St. Catchpole, he hears some Muggle children saying mean things about witches. He comes home confused. Will his father's answers straighten him out or only make him even more confused?

This is sorrow_of_severus of Gryffindor writing for the Halloween Challenge, Halloween Explained prompt.

Nymphadora Tonks and the Dead Parrot by OliveOil_Med

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: When Nymphadora Tonks accompanied Arthur Weasley to a London pet shop as an Auror escort for an official Ministry investigation, she imagined them being in and out with very little fuss.

She was very wrong.

My brother's seen this sketch...I haven't...but I still found this hilariously funny. Especially the part where the shopkeeper is trying to insist that the parrot is MOST SINCERLEY NOT DEAD. Poor Mr. Weasley...

Kissing the Joy as it Flies by Equinox Chick

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Seamus Finnigan only asked Lavender Brown to the Yule Ball because he was pretty sure Angelina Johnson would say no. They'd have a drink, a dance, and a laugh - that's all. Dean might be after a snog from a girl, but Seamus wasn't bothered.

But then Lavender appeared in the common room, in a swirl of a dress, and he was lost.

This is Equinox Chick of Hufflepuff and this is my entry in the February Love Challenge - category First Love - over at the Great Hall on MNFF beta boards.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling. Is anyone shocked by that announcement?

I need to thank Natalie (hestiajones) for beta'ing this fic and being generally amazing and VERY supportive whilst I wrote this.

Thanks also to Emma (Amortentia x) for filling me in on Irish boyspeak.

Finally, the title for this story is a tweaked line from Eternity by William Blake.

On Parents by Phoenix13

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Victoire and Teddy are at that awkward stage. They're not adults yet, but they'll jinx you if you refer to them as "one of the kids." Victoire, especially, is sick of all her little cousins at the Annual Weasley Family reunion, so when Teddy finally shows up, the two of them escape out into the garden as fast as possible.
Reviewer: canufeelthemagictonight Signed
Date: 10/30/13 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Cuteness overload; you got Teddy spot on and, while this isn't exactly my image of Victoire, I still love how you characterized her. Reminds me a little bit of myself.

Hermione's in Trouble! by OliveOil_Med

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary:
"I tried a few simple spells just for practice and it's all worked for me."

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

My answer to an early plot hole that has always bugged me in this story.

Oh, poor Hermione....Good story, though. It explains why she hates getting in trouble (Miss "Killed Or Worse Expelled"...no wonder she's always on Ron and Harry.)

P.S. She's my favorite. Hermione, I mean.

Too Rash With the Rash by Karaley Dargen

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Molly Prewett and her best friend Lucy have had enough of Bellatrix Black, and so have dozens of other students. If the two girls played a prank on Bella-Cruella, as students call her when she can't hear them, they would certainly go down in Hogwarts' secret history of famous pranksters.

Their plan is easy and foolproof until another Gryffindor decides that he has been pushed around for too long, and takes a step that everyone will regret in the end.

This was originally written for the April Monthly Challenge in TTB, but turned out.. a bit too long. This is the longer, and in my opinion, much better version.

A billion thanks to Natalie for being a fantastic beta and friend!

Arthur/Molly=spot-on. (No pun intended.)

Bella Cruella=great nickname, btw, but I HATE how she didn't get even the slightest bit of boils! Ah, well, Molly, you'll get her next time...;)

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review! I really appreciate it, after all this time! Made my night, to be honest. And yes, in my head, there were a LOT of other opportunities for them to carry out that feud... and Fred and George certainly got there spirit from somewhere! Again, thanks so much for the review.

Magic by The_Real_Hermione

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Robert Henson was one of the few to notice Hermione Granger’s strange disappearance at the end of primary school. It is ten years since then and he has given up on solving her mystery, when he stumbles across the truth by accident...

This is a good story. You characterized all the characters (forgive the pun) really well, and your OC, Rob, was really well drawn out. Thumbs up!

Author's Response: Thanks for such a lovely compliment! I find some of these characters (especially Harry and Ron) quite hard to write, so I'm glad they came across well. And I'm glad you thought Rob was a good character too. Thanks again very much for taking the time to leave this lovely review ~Katrina

Our Done Deal by Aria_Aurora1

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: He withdrew his arms from around her, and reached into the back pocket of his shorts. As he bent down to kiss her again, he took hold of her hand, and placed inside it a square box. “Happy birthday.”

This is the tale of a birthday… A seventeenth birthday, no less. It tells of a present given to a redheaded teenager by the love of her life, a gift that became the best present she would ever receive; better than all past and all future presents. It tells of a present she would never, ever forget.

The Orange Cat by SaboteurVictory

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: We all know Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger met at Hogwarts, became best friends, saved the world, fell in love, and got married.
