not bad... sometimes it gets a little boring, though. try to leave the "old" jokes out (such as Petunia: remember the money...), though. :-)

Author's Response: that's why i love that i'm the author...i choose what i do...MUAHAHAHAH!

It's really well-written...but I thought you couldn't name your fics after actual HP books?

it's well-written and attention-catching...but I don't really see a connection between Draco and Hermione. Hope that is coming soon!

Author's Response: Don't worry, it'll come *smile mischieviously*. I just need to set the stage so to speak. Anyway, thanks for the compliment!

The Long Road Home by Ashwinder

Rated:
Summary: Sequel to Ginny's Gift. Read that story first. Harry must deal with the aftermath of Voldemort's defeat. Written pre-OOP.

Wow. It was wonderful! I've been reading it for forever but decided that I should leave you a review. I think some parts of your story actually resembled J.K. Rowling's writing, and the occasional humor also. I did feel however that there are times when you did not capture Ginny's personality exceedingly well (when it didn't sound exactly like her), but you shouldn't be blamed since we have never been exposed to Ginny very much in the books. However, wonderful job, a golden palace compared to a lot of other Harry/Ginny wooden shacks, I loved it!

Born the Day You Kissed Me by CLee

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: I was born the day you kissed me...I died inside the night you left me...But oh how I lived while you loved me. . . .

The sequel Agapanthus is up!

it's really, really good...but I think you kind of need more transition in the story...it's like one second they hate each other and the next moment they're in love? Give them a little time. :-)

Veiled Revelations by erikthephantom

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: The Hogwarts Express brings mystery and mischief in the Marauders' seventh and final year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter are facing a year of N.E.W.T.s, romance, intrigue, and, of course, a little mischief-making. There are plot twists galore! James (in the midst of saving the world) continues desperately to try to woo the incorrigible Lily Evans. Sirius deals with family problems while dealing with his incredible popularity and good looks (the horror!). Remus is provided with a backdoor to avoiding the prejudices of the inevitable real world, but at what cost? (dun-dun-dun) And Peter...well, Peter gets himself a girlfriend (but don't worry: it doesn't affect his hero-worshipping of James...or DOES IT?!)

That was really really good! Just one little thing when you were doing the flashback with the Sorting Narcissa Black should have come before Sirius since N comes before S in the alphabet.

Author's Response: hahahaaaa.....well, in the sorceror's stone/philosopher's stone movie McGonagall's list was SO screwed up that it wasn't even funny! I am allowed artistice license on behalf of my many brain freezes ;)

Good...but I can't see why it's rated R, though.

Prefect Not Perfect by TaraAnnFelton

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Hermione Granger normally cannot stand perfection, having been mocked for being perfect her whole life. Matters become worse when a simple plan to prove her "wild side" turns into the romance of a life time. The problem: He is absolutely perfect. According to her, at least.

Things get out of control, and after one thing leads to another, Hermione is forced to choose between losing what she has and losing what she wants.

Ignores books 6 and 7, but takes place in year 7

just a little note...Hermione's middle name is Jane.

Author's Response: really? i never knew what it was so i made one up thanks, but i don't know if i'll change it.....maybe

Cupid and His Twin by Leora V

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Valentine's Day is nigh at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and an unexpected couple is making the halls buzz. But are Malfoy and Hermione really made for each other, or is it just another joke?

well written...but I don't know, I think it would fit better in the romance category. :-) Maggie

The Secret thoughts of Hermione Granger by Hermiones_Revenge

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Hermione describes her Ron troubles in this series of hilarious journal entries, notes passed in class, and lists. And...Mrs Norris is a duck?

NOTE: This was written quite some time ago, in my younger years. It was my first story...which should explain a lot.

That was great! You are a really good author and this story totally grabs attention. I can't wait to read the next chapters!

It's really well-written and attention-grabbing but I thought Harry Potter never took Muggle Studies?

Author's Response: Hi there! Well, you are correct. Harry never took Muggle studies. In this story the actual class name is The Magic of Muggles, but it really doesn't matter. You will notice that this story is not 100% on with the books it is a bit AU. I change things around here and there. IT is all in good fun ;) It is a fantasy.

Highly Improbable by Vocalion

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •

Thanks, MuggleNet!

A little shorter than usual...but I liked it! So that a brew lends pep prof thing WAS an anagram?

Author's Response: Actually the word count for this chapter is greater than the last three chapters. Perhaps there is more dialogue so it seemed like a quicker read. Yes, it's an anagram. I hope Snape can solve it before the readers! Thanks for the review.

Yay! I love it that you make your chapters long. Most people only have less than 800 words. The story just gets better and better!

Reviewer: Maggie Signed
Date: 11/25/04 Title: Chapter 1: Prologue: Witch In Exile

this is random...but it kind of weirdly reminds of the Sound of Music! :-)

Author's Response: Hmm. That is a comparison no one has made before. Both stories involve music, but aside from that, I can find no other similarities. I assure you that this story will not end with Snape and Clancy climbing a mountain to escape Voldemort and the Death Eaters.

Date: 02/14/05 Title: Chapter 25: Believe It, Beloved

Oh and another thing: I like this chapter because it has more humor than past ones!

Author's Response: This story is really meant to be more of a romantic comedy with the emphasis being on wordplay more than on slapstick humor, although I will admit it has crept in, at times. I'm glad you are able to find SOME humor in it though. Thanks for reviewing!
