This is brilliant. I am waiting for more. And Jacqui is intriguing. Further, after reading the Drakeshaugh Dragon, a certain idea has been playing in my head. I have this strange feeling that little Annabel May might turn out to be magical! But it's only because you mentioned that Jacqui had some magical blood! Oh, this makes me so hopeful!

But nicely done as usual :)

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
The next chapter is close to completion. I hope to have it to my beta by next weekend. Is Annie Magical? You'll have to wait and see.

The Question by Northumbrian

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Ron is on his way to ask Hermione a question. He thinks that Hermione knows everything, but will she be able to answer this question?
Reviewer: Shreeja Signed
Date: 11/19/11 Title: Chapter 1: The Question

I loved it, I did. I was anxious throughout, wondering how he'd manage THE question. I laughed when Ron describes, appropriately, the reactions on Hermione's face. I think it was great. Loved the mush at the end too.

Author's Response: Thanks. Ron's anxious self-doubt made this a lot of fun to write. I'm glad Imade you laugh. -N-

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •

Great story again. I love how you bring in all the canon themes in. So this is how Luna and Rolf Scamander meet! Ah, this is just wonderful! Going to the next in the series :D

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. This is how Luna meets Rolf in my stories. It's about time he made a reappearance, too. -N-

Snow in June by lucilla_pauie

How to Wait by WeasleyMom

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Though the trials of war are behind them, life will always include difficulties that must be faced.

This fic won the 2011 Quicksilver Quill in the category Best Canon Romance, one-shot. Thank you so much! :)

It was beautifully done. I was wavering toward dramione of late (though I have always been fiercely canon), but this brought me back to why Romione are what they are. And Ron's humour has been captured really well. It made for a good read, and a bittersweet smile in the end.

Author's Response: Oh, you've made my day if this fic has swayed you more toward Romione than Dramione. LOL. I jest. (sort of) Thanks so much for reading this and taking time to review. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Players Rites by Northumbrian

Summary: Ginny Weasley is about to play her first ever professional Quidditch Game. Why aren't her team mates ready?
Reviewer: Shreeja Signed
Date: 12/18/11 Title: Chapter 1: The Changing Room

This was great!!! Your planning is brilliant, everything has a follow up and you always leave readers wanting more (no puns intended). this was hilarious and Harry-Ginny definitely get better with age :-D

Author's Response: Thank you. This bit of fluff helped me to figure out who Ginny's teammates are, becase i'll be needing them again. Harry and Ginny are maturing together, which means, of course that they can be immature when they want to be. :-) -N-

Masks by Misdemeanor1331

Rated: 6th-7th Years •

It's nice. Fills up gaps, yes. Nicely done!

Author's Response: Thank you! That's exactly what I wanted to do - answer any lingering questions you readers might have had. :)

More Wandless Magic with Malfoy by jenniferes

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy attend the Wizarding University of Paris the year after they graduate from Hogwarts.

This is a sequel to the Dragon Does the Tickling, where Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy complete their seventh year at Hogwarts after the war.

For me, The Dragon Does The Tickling and More Wandless Magic was almost a one shot. I couldn't stop reading! I am eagerly waiting for you to update! Good work!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the whole thing so far. I'm working hard to finish MWM and the next chapter is already in the queue. Thank you! Jenny

Is it wrong that I am almost glad I am not the only one who can't seem to access the story? Argh, I wish the glitch in the system gets fine soon. Can't wait to read more of the wandless magic!

Author's Response: Okay, the site is still having problems, so I'll let you in on a little secret: my story is also posted at Lumos, so if you really can't wait, you can go over there to read it. But MuggleNet's mods have been so helpful to me, I feel like a traitor to even suggest it! Thank you, Jenny

Finally ! And I like how you showed that Harry was more accepting, I'd have thought that would happen, though I thought he'd be more accepting, like the bit where he scoffs at her. Ron's emotions were perfect too. Great!

Author's Response: I'm glad to hear you liked it. I thought that it would be consistent with Harry's personality to be more accepting, where as Ron would freak out. I'm glad to hear I was successful in writing those emotional responses in the story. Thanks, Jenny

Aaaah! This was too short a chapter. and nothing much happened. :'( Write soon!

Author's Response: Sorry to disappoint you. The next chapter is in the queue. Hopefully you'll like that one better. :-) Jenny

Reviewer: Shreeja Signed
Date: 11/27/11 Title: Chapter 17: Chapter 17: Final Exams and Mistletoe

This was nice. The Mistletoe Ball was something, and I thought it would lead to a major argument, but didn't, thankfully. This Tabor Peltier guy is not going to leave soon, it appears. Hermione's nervousness about the relationship still persists and has been well portrayed. I think she should realise the sooner she makes her relationship with Draco official, the easier it will be for them. The whole jealousy thing is going to lead to something nasty, I believe.

Nicely done :) Looking forward to what happens next.

Author's Response: Thank you for your thoughtful review. I think you will be pleased with the next couple of chapters. :-) Jenny

Is Draco Malfoy a Git? by Northumbrian

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: This important question needs to be answered. Reputations are at stake.
Reviewer: Shreeja Signed
Date: 11/25/11 Title: Chapter 1: At the Wizard Courts

This was amazing! I am studying law, and it was funny how you worked libel laws into the HPverse. Usually I find my reading through my material a tad monotonous. However, if things could be put across in this method, I'd probably have finished most books by the end of the year :P It was hilarious, and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
I read a few judges summaries before attempting this, but my main impetus was the "keep libel laws out of science" campaign. I'm glad i could make you smile.

The Orange Cat by SaboteurVictory

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: We all know Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger met at Hogwarts, became best friends, saved the world, fell in love, and got married.

But did they really meet for the very first time on the Hogwarts Express, or was there perhaps another moment in time, long forgotten by the time they turned eleven?

Ginny's Rival by Northumbrian

Summary: There is a new girl in Harry's life, and Ginny needs Hermione's help.
Reviewer: Shreeja Signed
Date: 11/28/11 Title: Chapter 1: Ginny's Rival

This when I was wondering if I could read about Lily Luna :) Perfect, Harry is smitten :) But I think all Dads do that, right? Great one shot again! Your series is addictive.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review
I suspect that all dads are smitten, yes. Strangers at Drakeshaugh is (chronologically) next. However a Christmas story named Beard Hunters will fall between Sleepless Night and ginny's Rival.

The Drakeshaugh Dragon by Northumbrian

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary:
Al Potter is a brave and world famous Auror, but sometimes, he still needs help from his dad. Especially when faced with his brother, and a dragon.

Nominated for: Best Next Generation (Chaptered) story - Quicksilver Quills 2012

Reviewer: Shreeja Signed
Date: 11/09/11 Title: Chapter 3: The Dragon

It's a lovely sequel. I have been waiting for more at the Drakeshaugh, and this helps a little. I love how you have brought out the characteristics of each child perfectly. Harry is a loving and doting father and Ginny could very well be a younger Molly Weasley. Waiting for more at the other fic. Great work!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
I tried to make the kids individuals, I'm rather fond of Henry at the moment, because he's far from perfect. But we can't choose out children's friends.
Harry was a doting father in nineteen years later, which is the key to my attempts to characterise him. There is certainly a lot of Molly in Ginny, but I hope that there's a bit of Arthur, too.
"Strangers" chapter 10 (Conversations and Invitations) is in the queue.

You Don’t Use Your Eyes, Do You? by Hermione Jane

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Ron’s point of view through the years when it comes to Hermione. Trust me darling, he uses his eyes more than you could possibly know.
Reviewer: Shreeja Signed
Date: 11/27/11 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

I definitely enjoyed reading it. Ron's humour showed brilliantly, even through his consistent concern. I like how you wrote this :)

A Rose By Any Other Name by Alice Mac

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Four Valentine's Day balls. Four very different encounters.

Scorpius Malfoy and Rose Weasley could never exactly be accused of getting along, but four days over four years test the nature of their relationship. From hatred, to sympathy, to attraction, to perhaps something deeper, Scorpius and Rose find themselves in uncharted territory. Can they rise above their ingrained dislike for one another? Or will their prejudices keep them from realising the true reason they can so easily get under each other's skin?
Reviewer: Shreeja Signed
Date: 11/29/11 Title: Chapter 4: Liking

I loved the fluff. Your dialogues are brilliant. I thought you captured the characters of Scorpius and Rose well. Rose blushes like her father, and is just like her mother when it comes to everything else. Scorpius reflects typical Malfoyness (lol), with his sneer and smirks, but there is a kind side to him, which sets him apart from Draco, and also shows how he has grown up with a different set of values. Again, I loved the conversations your characters have, they have much depth and are beautifully written. Great fic!

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked the fluff! I find it quite difficult to write, so I'm glad I pulled it off. You're exactly right how you interpreted my representations of their characters: Rose being so like her mother but still hot-tempered and prone to blushing like Ron. And Scorpius is like what Draco could have been with better up-bringing. Thank you so much for your kind review :)

The Hufflepuff by Northumbrian

This is Northumbrian of Ravenclaw writing for the Great Bannermakers Hall Challenge
Reviewer: Shreeja Signed
Date: 12/18/11 Title: Chapter 1: The Hufflepuff

This was brilliant. The minute details that you have added to Hannah Abbott's story is amazing. I really liked this. True to the title, Hannah is a true Hufflepuff, extremely hard working and persevering. Great job!

Author's Response: Thanks. I have ideas for more Hannah, and Hannah/Neville stories. It's simply finding the time to write them. at least I now know how Hannah ended up as a barmaid. -N-
