I'm 21 years old, born and raised in Michigan, USA. Harry Potter's been in my life ever since I was 8. I accidentally started by reading Prisoner of Azkaban first. Whoops. My dad corrected me before I got too far, though.

I'm a fourth year English major, and I love fanfiction because it sharpens my writing skills, and of course, because I love Harry! I started doing it in the summer of 2011. I wrote my fanfictions in this order:

The First Howl
A Werewolf at Hogwarts
From Opposite Sides / Ways To Say Goodbye
Merry-Go-Round

My top five characters are Lupin, Hermione, Neville, Luna, and those hilarious Weasley twins. I can relate to Lupin and Luna the most, which is why I honored them in my pen name.

My favorite couple by far is Remus & Tonks, although Tonks' parents (Ted and Andromeda) have really grown on me, since I wrote their story. And I may or may not think that Hermione would've been better with Harry... Favorite couple that never happened? Neville and Luna!

You'll notice pretty quickly that the music I love inspires me in every way, whether it's chapter names or a sample of lyrics that go perfectly with the story. I'm also really inspired by the books I read, but If you ask me what they are, prepare for a long list :) It includes the Hunger Games trilogy and a load of books by Scott Westerfeld.

Thank you so much for letting me share my writing on here! Reviews are much appreciated.

Potions and Prejudice by solemnlyswear_x

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: It is a truth universally acknowledged that Muggle-borns wishing to maintain their good health should refrain at all times from talking to Andromeda Black. Ted and Andromeda don't get along, to put it lightly. But when situations push them together, can they get over their pride and prejudice and come to care for one another?

Ted/Andromeda for VV's Pride and Prejudice class.

You know, I really think Ted and Andromeda deserve more credit. They obviously overcame a lot to end up marrying! That's why I love their story so much. You did a very good job at telling the beginning of it :)

This was a great mystery, and kind of bittersweet that you changed when Tonks died :( But I love Kingsley even more because of this story, and I had no idea whodunit until the end! Wonderful job.

Fractured Snow by Mistletoe

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:
Biting.

He wrenched his wrist from her calming grasp, angry that her simple touch could have this effect on him right now.

Frigid.

That was too far, she couldn’t have said that, done that. It was too easy for her and too hard for him.

Numb.

“Am I no more than a game, Andromeda? A secret pleasure for you to tantalise at your every whim?”

Raw.

Ted/Andromeda

Reviewer: LoonyLupin Signed
Date: 12/22/11 Title: Chapter 1: Biting. Frigid. Numb. Raw

I'd always thought Andromeda and Ted had a wonderful story behind them, and this just proves it. I can see her doing that to Ted. But we all know that they got together in the end :)

It's a perfect view into the mind of our favorite werewolf. The story is just bittersweet in so many ways. Wonderful job!

Good Enough After All by Nitwit Blubber Oddment Tweak x

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: It's the morning of the first match of season: Gryffindor versus Slytherin. As usual, Ron is nervous. He takes a walk by the lake and encounters some Doodle Shadowed Knooks - at least, according to Luna.
Luna always was good at making peole see things they'd never noticed before...

Great job! When you put it this way, it makes me think that Luna would've been good for Ron. She really is so optimistic, and Ron needed someone to cheer him up. As you can tell by my username, I love Luna :)

Sunshine by jacquelinenicole

No matter how it's told, I never get tired of reading a Remus and Tonks story. Their story's just so wonderful. I loved the "sugarplum fairy" joke, too :)

Faces by lilyofseafoam

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •

Wonderful story. I think it's great that Draco found a girl who thinks like him :) He really needed someone like Astoria, to help him get away from the demands of his family.

Must Be/Maybe by Indigoenigma

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: There is always the question of what must be and what simply may be. No matter the answer, the question is one of the most difficult to grapple with - something both Remus and Tonks quickly find out.
Reviewer: LoonyLupin Signed

Usually, I think stories need dialogue, but this is such a great look into their thoughts. I love Remus and Tonks :)

I've always liked Arthur and Molly. What a twist, that she's got a boyfriend right now! We're going to have to fix that, won't we? ;) Great story.

The Start Of A Life Of Lies by ZephyrDragon

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: What if Draco had seen his father for who he really was right from the beginning?
Harry's visit to Madam Malkin's from Draco's point of view.
Reviewer: LoonyLupin Signed
Date: 12/30/11 Title: Chapter 1: The Start Of A Life Of Lies

This makes me wonder if Draco would've dared to betray his family, like his aunt Andromeda did, for a good reason. Nice look at his side of that first conversation. J.K. Rowling mentioned that he reminded Harry of Dudley, and that's pretty true. I can see that here, as well! Wonderful job :)

If You Only Knew by ToBeOrNotToBeAGryffindor

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:

If you only knew
I'm hanging by a thread,
The web I spin for you.
If you only knew
I'd sacrifice my beating
Heart before I'd lose you.

If I drown tonight, bring me
Back to life.
Breathe your breath in me;
The only thing that I still believe
In is you.

If you only knew...

They weren't sure, but they might have loved one another all along. Some avenues were always meant to be explored.

When I read "Goblet of Fire" when I was 9, I kind of thought they would end up together. And I can see all this confusion happening. It was great! By the way, I love that song you named it after. It's always cool to use song lyrics in writing :)

Author's Response:

Haha, I'm right there with you. I remember reading HBP and being annoyed that Harry was being slated to end up with Ginny and Hermione with Ron. Still a bit miffed about it, but I guess it's not my call. It doesn't mean I can't bend it a little for my ebil purposes. :D

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

The One by kickingchick94

Reviewer: LoonyLupin Signed

That's a great way of describing how Hermione used Cormac. In the book, I thought it was really funny, but you made it serious. Nice job!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! My goal is to stay as close to canon as possible in my writing, except of course for the plot elements :)

A Fortuitous Encounter by Phoebus Apollo

I'm glad that you gave the trio more people to back them up. And Sophie sounds like the kind of girl who's willing to help them. It's always interesting to add your own ideas and think, "what if?" That's what the alternate universe is for, of course. Great job!!!

It Wasn't the Nargles by IBelieveInNargles

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •

The world is looking bleak to everyone, even this usually happy-go-lucky girl. The bit of hope that remains in their hearts is the club of students who are still willing to fight for what they believe in, Dumbledore’s army. Every Single Day by armagod679

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Ernie Macmillan had never had trouble speaking his mind... until he met Justin Finch-Fletchley. But with the Wizarding World at war, Ernie has to tell Justin everything, because when you love someone, you should tell them every single day.
Reviewer: LoonyLupin Signed
Date: 12/22/11 Title: Chapter 1: Justin, I Love You

I really loved the story. It's got a great message, and we never heard much from Justin or Ernie after "Chamber of Secrets". Nice job :)

Author's Response: Thank you!

Forever by ginny6142

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: In the Final Battle, we know that Remus and Tonks lost their lives fighting; however, we never saw a death scene for the two of them. We don't know what was going on with them during the battle. We only know that Remus came before Tonks, and then we see that they are both dead. This story is my take on how the power of love can never be ignored, just like Dumbledore always said.
Reviewer: LoonyLupin Signed
Date: 02/14/12 Title: Chapter 1: One-Shot

That struck all the right emotional chords. They're my favorite out of the main couples, and I'm glad they got to say goodbye. Sounds like they went to a better place after all :) Aw.

Ambition's Downfall by goldensnidget92

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Draco Malfoy's sixth year at Hogwarts is as infamous as Dolores Umbridge's detentions, but what really motivated him to attempt to kill the great Albus Dumbledore?

After his father's imprisonment in Azkaban, Draco is left feeling humiliated and alone. Coming from a family where reputation means everything, he jumps at the chance to prove himself to the Dark Lord; but will he be able to go through with the momentous task of murdering the greatest wizard known to man, or will he learn to value just how precious life can be?
Reviewer: LoonyLupin Signed
Date: 12/21/11 Title: Chapter 1: Temptation

I really felt Draco's confusion over what choices to make. He's one of those characters that feels forced into the family business. You told it very well :)

Author's Response: Thanks! I found it difficult in this chapter, because I know nothing much happens, but I really needed to set up how his ambition contrasts with his family ties. It's something I want to make him struggle with much more - especially how let down he feels now that his father is in prison. I'm glad you liked it!
