I am also a member at www.harrypotterfanfiction.com and I am known as Number_One_Ravenclaw_Forever there, so feel free to check out my stories there and the millions of other author's there. And lastly, I love reading the Harry Potter series fom J.k. Rowling, I love reading Harry Potter stories from other people, and I love writing my own Harry Potter stories!!!(:

DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, I am not J.K. Rowling. Never was, not am now and never will be. No matter how much I wish to be her genius, it will never happen. So, inspite of that, all of my stories will be playing with the wonderful world she has created for us to enjoy. And for this kidness, I thank her!!!(:

The Real Magic by goldensnidget92

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: This is a story about a love of books. It is a story about a boy and a girl united by this love.

Perhaps there's a reason why Hermione Granger values frienship so strongly. Perhaps there's a reason why Hogwarts: A History means so much to her. And perhaps there's more to her life before Hogwarts than we have been told.

This is her story.

This story was nominated for a Quicksilver Quill Award 2012: Best General Story!

Truth or Dare by Equinox Chick

Summary: Cormac McLaggen, a sports journalist for The Daily Prophet is looking for a scoop to make his name.

Zacharias Smith, Chaser for the Falmouth Falcons is looking for acceptance and respect.

Will a game of 'Truth or Dare' get both of them what they want? Or will this collision of two colossal egos leave both licking their wounds?

This is Equinox Chick writing for The Inaugural Great Hall Cotillion Challenge.
This story is dedicated to Ariana (lucca4) because she dared me.
Thanks to Natalie (hestiajones) for betaing this story and also to ma flist for encouraging the impossible.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling. I hope she doesn't mind what I've done to two of her 'most-loved' characters.

Completely and utterly overjoyed that this won the award for the Best SSP One-shot in the 2012 QSQ's. I suspect my pairing will grab the glory, which is as it should be ;)

Iris albicans by Lost_Robin

I really like the changes you made in this chapter and I can't wait to read more! I'm glad I was snooping through the reviews of some author who happened to read this because I would never have found it if I didn't...

Author's Response: Thank you. Originally, I didn't have a beta but I fixed everything up. And the next chapter will be up soon, I promise.

Becoming Calla by FearlessFlyer

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

Complete!

Muggle-born Calla thinks she is prepared for life at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. After all, her parents both went to boarding school, so what could be so different?

Calla soon finds out that expectations are never the same as reality, and learns more than she ever thought she would about loyalty, friendship, good and evil.

A/N: This story takes place during the Next Generation era. JKR’s characters have small parts throughout, but are not the main characters. I’m continuing in the alternate universe I began in Snape’s Son.

The rating for most of the story is 3-5th years, with warnings for the end chapters.

Nice chapter and hmm, can't wait!(:

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. Between writing a different story and going out of town twice, I got a little sidetracked since this last chapter. All's good, though, Chapter 5 is being beta read and should be up in a little bit.

All That Is Gold Does Not Glitter by ljmckay

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: An eleven-year-old boy residing at Number 4, Privet Drive, receives his Hogwarts letter in the summer of 1991. That boy is Dudley Dursley.
Reviewer: crbluvsravenclaw Signed
Date: 06/12/12 Title: Chapter 1: All That Is Gold Does Not Glitter

I like the idea of Dudley going to Hogwarts instead of Harry. You have one creative mind! The story was really well written. I liked the sorting the best because I wondered what house Dudley would be in. Something inside of me wanted him in Slytrherin with Malfoy, but I think he'll do well in Hufflepuff. It just seems surprising since he was so mean in the actual Harry Potter story. My question to ask is did Voldemort even happen. I noticed Lily was alive in well. I'm not saying it's a bad change or anything. I kind of like that you changed it up a bit. Good job and keep writing!(:

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it. :) I struggled a long time with what house to put Dudley in; Slytherin would be a great fit, obviously, but I think there is more to him -- even if it is buried a bit -- and I wanted to see how he would turn out if he was surrounded by more positive influences. But his friendship with Malfoy is not necessarily over, and that will also have an influence. :) Great question about Voldemort. I deliberately left it open, because I wasn't sure myself! I think Voldemort was stopped before he even came to power, or at least a lot earlier in his reign of terror.

Burning in the Skies by Envy_I_May_Be

Wow, 72 reads now and this is your first review for your poem. Well, I just wanted to let you know that I loved reading about what you had to say in your poem. It was really beautiful in every aspect. Though I don't know how to decipher the meanings in poetry very well, I like the darkness in this one. The end was really great it just makes me want to say wow!!!(:

P.S. I wanted to recommend a few poems since you seem to enjoy them so much... If you are looking for something good, Check out the poems by Nagini Riddle! Her poems are amazing just like yours! For a good read, check out her poem called "Her Hand." And then, if you don't mind, you should think about nominating that particular poem to the best poetry portion of the awar QSQ thing And spread the word around!!!(: Thank you so much!(:

Great poem!
~Cris!(;

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed my poem, and I give you mad props and thanks for being my first reviewer. And I have read 'Her Hand', and a few other ones by her; they are good. :)

Letters Home by RavenclawHeadGirl

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Lily Luna Potter's letters home during her first week at Hogwarts. Letters come from Harry and Ginny, Ron and Hermione, Bill and Fleur, and George Angelina and Roxanne.
Reviewer: crbluvsravenclaw Signed

It was okay. I understand how Lily is writing to everyone in the family, but she is just repeating the same things. I enjoyed some of it, though. As for Quidditch, it starts in November, not September... And what about all the other classes? You only mentioned Charms, Transfiguration, and History Of Magic. I don't want to put you in a bad mood and I apologize for doing so, but this is what I have to say...(: update soon because I'm nit giving up on you...(:

Author's Response: Finally! Something other than "it was very sweet"! As much as I love compliments, I need to know what I can improve on! Looking back on it now, I realize how repetitive it is. It originally was going to be multiple chapters and go through at least two months, and a lot of loose ends weren't tied up. For example, I knew I wanted her to be Seeker, but being lazy, didn't think about the dates, Paige Taylor was going to have a bigger role, and more classes were going to be mentioned. I'm most likely not updating this story, but I have a few WIPs, so stay tuned! - RavenclawHeadGirl :)

WOW! That was so sweet and touching! I feel so bad for Severus, but the good thing about this sad story is that you gave me an idea for a story. So I thank you for that!!!(: I really wished Severus never joined Voldemort, that way Voldemort would never have known about the prophecy and Snape would have his Lily eventhough she married James. Overall great job and I can't wait to read more of what you have!!!(:

Same rating, btw, haha!!!(:

~Cris!(:

Author's Response: I'm glad you found this sweet! I think it still had some dark moments... I'm super excited that it gave you an idea and I can't wait to see what you do with it! As for concerns, there are none! This was so nice and dark and after reading that last poem of yours, I see that you like writing about Tom Riddle and that you do have no problems with writing dark stuff.

I really enjoyed every word of this, uh, poem, story? It was obviously when Voldemort had killed his paternal side of the family. You do so well! and for my last review, I meant to put this...

(1,000,000,000,000,000,000/10) That's my rating for that poem and for this one!!!(:

~Cris!(:

Author's Response: Thanks! I have to admit, I was scared to write dark things, and I had trouble with it! Now it seems that is all I can write! I find it easier to get darker and darker!!!! I try to write happy things, but they become dark... It makes for an interesting time of writing! I really appreciate your review! Thank you!!!

I noticed that you made You Want To Make A Memory by Potter, one of your favorite stories... Did you read the whole thing? What did you think of it?? I did and I loved every bit of it!(:

Author's Response: I absolutely adored that story- that's why it is in my favorites. I also left a review behind for it, albeit short, since I was in great awe over it. :) I just loved the little details the author used, and the story made me cry at the end! I felt so bad for Remus! At least in the end he made up with Sirius! FYI, if you wish to contact me, use the contact button on my author page. You don't have to use the review button! :) And if you wish to read more of my poetry, visit my thread on the beta boards in Poetry Anyone?
