Author's Response: Why, thank you! :) I chose Petunia because I really felt I could write something that was emotional but still awkward, and then I just imagined Petunia saying this out loud, or even in her mind, stuttering over some of the concepts and words that she is revealing. I'm glad to find that you still read this and enjoyed it, despite how you feel about poetry on MNFF. :)

The Dursleys will return later in the story. Bobbie has been part of my future history since I wrote Grave Days. I hope to update this story every four weeks or so.As for Strangers: now that real life has begun to return to normal, I hope to update several of my unfinished tales.

I first read HP when my kids asked for the books, and then, some years later, as I was going through a very rough time, the kind that makes people turn to drink or drugs, I picked them up again and reread them and for almost a year, strangely enough, I read almost nothing else. They did the job for me ... I eventually snapped out of it, but I still enjoy the characters and the wonderful world created by JKR. I don't read any fanfiction but mugglenet and even here, I stick with those authors who are canon-compliant and write in a way that can make you feel that you are back in JKR's world. There aren't many of those, but you are one and you get Ron and Hermione like no other writer on here. Your "missing moments" are great and I hope there are many more to come!
