I seem to be joining a lot of Potter sites at the minute, though I haven't written for the universe in a good while.

College and uni sucked away a great deal of my free time for the last four years, and the time I did have, I put towards developing original fiction and my artwork (the website linked is my account on Deviantart, where I'm almost always lurking about). So with education done, I can hopefully reabsorb myself into the world of Harry Potter and get back into writing for it.

About me...well...I'm in the UK, I have my own brand of insanity, I'm sarcastic, blonde, a scorpio, desperately want to own chipmunks (or raccoons. I'd love raccoons). I've been riding horses since I was about nine (over half my life, since I'm nearly 21), I have the hugest soft spot for Buckbeak and wreaked havoc when I went to boarding school until I was 16.

I've loved the Potter books for as long as I remember (though I do remember reading the CoS first, then having to go find PS). The movies started out great, but I'm not such a huge fan of later ones, as a lot had to be written out. I can be quite loyal to pairings, but like to read lots of character interpretations - ie, stories with a Dumbledore who acts like an oversized child, as well as ones where he's a manipulative twerp with ulterior motives across the board are all ones I'll look at. The only pet peeves I have tend to be bad grammar or writing and stories that for whatever reason aren't believable.

That said and done, hopefully I can get some stories up soon :)

Hogwarts Musical: Chamber of Secrets by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Anyone heard those rumours about a Harry Potter musical?

It better be just like this.

No, but seriously, it's a spoof of the songs from Disney channel's infamous "High School Musical," telling the tale of JK Rowling's infamous "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." (I was dared; I took the challenge.)

You will never see the Basilisk the same way again.

P.S. You may also want to check out my Beatles and Phantom of the Opera spoofs. Just click on my username and it'll take you to my delightfully chaotic author's page.

I've been getting odd looks from my family because of how many times I laughed out loud at this. I have similar feelings for HSM, in that I don't mind watching it on occasion and some of the tunes/music is decent, but it definitely irritates me if I have to watch or listen too much. How you managed to replay all the songs over and over to create this masterpiece is beyond me.

That said, it really is a fantastic spoof. In places the lyrics don't match up so well, but those lines are overshadowed by how wonderfully written the rest is. The lines are very good, and so are the song choices for the moments in the plot. Stick to the Status Quo always sticks in my head, so I could practically Hear Sharpay's voice singing your lines (which only made me laugh more).

My favourite has to be 'Get your head outta the way'. That's a work of genius right there.

I've already started on your Voldy's blog story and I think my family want to have me committed. Its been a pretty rubbish day, and your stories have been a real high point; I hope you keep writing, and keep writing with this humour. We need more humour this natural in Potter stories.

I'm stopping now, before I've written an essay.
