rozzer work, yup
preferably by some kind of book

keep up the good work

Author's Response: Possibly it’s because I had a lot of problems uploading it. It didn’t seem to work.

Great lead in it is a real treat to see Ron get to be the big brother for a change it was like the definite declaration chapter in Aurors and Schoolgirls his brain does work (he plays chess!)
keep up the good work

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I thought that it was time for Ron to play big brother. I’ve never doubted that Ron’s brain works, but he’s got Hermione, so it doesn’t need to. -N-

Harry: mortified
Ginny: I'll buy one!

great story keep up the good work!
When can we expect an update on Aurors and Schoolgirls? not to rush you or anything
Great story telling.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
Harry didn't always give one word answers.
The calendar won't be available any time soon.
Next will probably be Strangers, although I'm working on A&S, honest.

Man this a good one. I can picture Vernon's face looking a that envelope.

The spot MacMillan is in is pretty tough it may be years before he makes any effective business decisions and he knows it. He has a good point who would make up a story about being Harry's buddy. The Battle probably takes up five chapters in the history books already. And I doubt the membership list of Dumbledor's army was much of a secret after the medals were handed out. IIRC he also fought at Collin's funeral. It would take a pretty thick layer of stupid to BS about knowing Harry. His life and known associates is probably better documented than the history of quiddich.
Excellent work, can we have some more, please, sir?

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
This is the first (and probably the only) chapter of this story not to directly feature Harry and Ginny. Vernon definitely isn’t happy.
As for Ernie, there is a reason I focussed on his invitiation, but that’s for later. More of something soon.

Hunters and Prey by Northumbrian

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:
February 2000 Newly Qualified (in record time) Auror Harry Potter remains obsessed with “The List.” The ten people still wanted for their part in the Battle of Hogwarts. Their capture is essential. It will bring closure to the events of the past few years. Harry has set himself a target. He wants to see “The Last Death Eater” and the other nine captured before the second Anniversary of the battle. His attempts to meet his target will bring heartbreak, danger, pain, and a lifechanging injury for one former DA member.

Hi great chapter, keep up the good work.
One nit to pick Doxine would have worked to keep her persuit upwind of her location. When you are dealing with scent hunting stuff (large canines) you try to stay down wind of them to avoid detection. Also applies to hunting in general as most prey have good noses too.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
I thought I'd said "upwind of her pursuers", I'll check and correct if necessary, thanks.

Great keep up the good work. Last death eater goes down. Looks like Auror tactics will get rehashed in the after acton review. Bit of a zero sum when the target has no scruples. Hmmm what is Fenilla up to? May we have more please sir?

Author's Response: Thanks. There are two more chapters, and both are being beta read, so you may see the end of this story before 2014. What is Fenella up to? You'll find out in the final chapter. -N-

I figured the after action review was going to go south. For crying out loud Dumbledore's Army ws better organized at Collin's funeral (Grave Days) the delay on the ministy end was insane. Keep up the good work.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
I'm glad you think that the DA were better organised, Harry agrees. Change is needed. More soon.

Good to see Terry Boot figure out Harry and Co. might have been a bit circumspect with regards to 'hunting' Finnella. Yup you can't find Harry's pad with out Ginny's help. Good chapter please Sir can we have more? Probably isn't the first time and won't be the last time Terry wonders what Harry's info flow priorities are. It is actually pretty simple who needs to know what and when does he need to get all the info to the DA (those Galleons still work).

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
This story is now marked complete. However, you can expect a sequel: Friends and Foes, very soon. As for the DA Galleons, they’re a fairly basic communications device. Harry is looking for something better.

James and Me by Northumbrian

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:
Annabel is having a bad day. Her sudden and unexpected meeting with a face from her past is unlikely to improve matters.

This was Northumbrian of Ravenclaw House writing for Round Three of the 2012 Character Triathlon. This is now a longer chaptered story.

Nominated for: Best Original Character (Chaptered) story (for the narrator, Annabel) and Best Next Generation Story - Quicksilver Quills 2013

Reviewer: fi103r Signed
Date: 06/07/13 Title: Chapter 3: Dreaming

Excellent! Love the blended dream. A lot of my early memories are plug in pieces like Anna was dreaming Good way of working some of the Strangers at Drakeshaugh story back in too. Keep up the good work. This and the Dennis story show the issues of 'the masquerade' that JKR talks about sometimes. Hogwarts as a posh school is hilarious. I wonder what Harry would think of that one. No TV, no video games, Dudly would have lost his mind there.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
I’ve managed to keep cousin Rosie out of the story so far, but she, and Al, and Lily, are waiting in the wings. As they appear, and Annie’s childhood memories begin to resurface, James will face some interesting times.
Hogwarts is an exclusive school in the Scottish Highlands, and that’s a fact. I think Harry will be amused.

Nice day on the road so far.
Fun trip into names/geneology
And Rosie has some fun with James and she isn't even on the road >snicker<
And Ye Olde English as well
Good Story keep up the good work

Author's Response: Thanks. I wanted to add Peveril into the mix although even Annie thinks that James should concentrate on one thing at a time. (She's not the only one.)

Uncovered by Death by Equinox Chick

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: All Scorpius Malfoy had wanted on the Saturday before Halloween was to spend some time in Hogsmeade alone with his girlfriend, Lily Potter. But Fate appeared to have other plans. Not only is her annoying cousin Hugo Weasley tagging along, but in the aftermath of a violent storm, a body is uncovered.

Working with his boss, Head Auror Harry Potter, to discover the identity of the victim, and the truth of her death, Scorpius quickly learns that not all skeletons are buried underground.

This is a the sequel to High. It is not necessary to read that to understand this, but what the heck, you might just enjoy it!

Many, many thanks to Kara (Karaley Dargen) for not only beta'ing this story, but putting up with the tortuous search for a title.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling, but I think you know that.

Uncovered by Death won the 2013 QSQ for Best Chaptered Next Generation Story. Thank you very much.

This was an excellent work. I loved the interweave of the original books and the next generation. Excellent work in keeping the characters sharp and action going. You are one of my favorite fanfic authors because you work at keeping the characters in Rowling's universe and somehow in the right 'voice' eq this sounds like stuff the Potter crew would get into 20 years later. Keep up the good work.

Author's Response: Thank you very much for the lovely review and the reads; I really appreciate it. I'm not sure how much fanfiction I have left in me, as I'm concentrating on my own fiction, but if anything can drag me back, it would be the NG crew. Thanks again ~Carole

Hogsmeade by Northumbrian

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Students in their third year and above can visit Hogsmeade. Only one second year student ever managed to get there. How did he do it?
Reviewer: fi103r Signed
Date: 04/06/13 Title: Chapter 1: Hogsmeade

Excellent, fits to the cannon and uses Collin's skills and Ginny's built in mischief factor, love Micheal, Anthony and Terry as backup, Flitch was, as usual, addled and incompetent. Great work,
Where is the rest of Aurors and schoolgirls? We are waiting, Keep up the good work.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
I wanted to know how Dennis got to the first DA meeting, and using Colin's photographic skills seemed logical. Poor Filch didn't stand a chance, particularly when Ginny arrived.
You'll see more Aurors and Schoolgirls when I finish Hunters & Prey.

The Hourglasses by Oregonian

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: They have existed for centuries, seeing generations of students. What have they learned that we need to know?

This poem won Second Place in the 2013 Aisling Challenge.

This poem was nominated for the 2014 Quicksilver Quill Award: Best Poetry.
Reviewer: fi103r Signed
Date: 12/08/15 Title: Chapter 1: The Hourglasses

Excellent
Those hourglasses have seen it all and remind the students the score is not win lose but guidepost on the path

Author's Response: Thank you so much for leaving a comment, Richard. It is such a pleasure to know that someone is still reading and enjoying my poem. You are right; they have seen it all, and neither victory nor defeat is, in the long run, permanent.

Knavery by Northumbrian

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: In which Draco looks for a girlfriend, and Ginny visits Malfoy Manor.
Reviewer: fi103r Signed
Date: 12/07/13 Title: Chapter 1: Knavery

Great,
Ginny at here best. However, inquiring minds want to know when can we expect Abraxas Gray to be discharged from St Mungos? I'm guessing Finella's reaction to her invite/acceptance by her Dad was furious and non linear given Draco's treatment of the Creavy brothers during his time at Hogwarts

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
Fenella (unlike the majority of my female characters) doesn't do furious. However, a revenge story may bo on the cards one day.

New Year's Eve (or: Amour Tension) by Northumbrian

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: New Year's Eve, (or Hogmanay if you prefer). What sort of imbecile thinks it's a good idea to give a married man with two kids, and a very pregnant wife, a love potion? It should be a time to celebrate. For "the best dad in the world" and his wife, it's time for chocolate biscuits, cocktails, an Auror in a leopard print dress, Dung and Coco.

Date: 12/27/13 Title: Chapter 1: New Year's Eve (or: Amour Tension)

It looks like Cheat! will have either a lot of news on Coco Crave or their competition sure will. I am pretty sure the security dudes get signed Harpies gear and more likley tickets. Love it that like the Imperious curse it is possible to resist the amortentia. Wonder what Coco thinks about amortentia now. A kiss from Dung? eeech

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
They certainly won't get the headlines they hoped for.
Perhaps a kiss is all Dung needs. Redemption through love is a standard trope in romantic fiction, isn't it? :-D

Friends and Foes by Northumbrian

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: It took Harry and his friends years to discover who killed Colin Creevey. Ginny and Luna's classmate is the only person whose killer remains free. It is 2001, and the search has been ongoing for a year. Will the killer ever be brought to justice?

Excellent. Love the Ginny/Petunia mix can't wait to see this New Dudley. 'enjoy their Misery' consider that sooo stolen. It so well describes some folks I know. If they don't enjoy life why should anyone? Keep up the good work. Loved the 'flying motorbike is outside' that probably set a purple face rage record before the kiss started

Author's Response: Thank you. Ginny was very restrained, fortunately for Petunia. There are, unfortunately, people who have that attitude. It does no one any good. I enjoyed making the bike joke, and as for public displays of affection… -N-

Dudley grows up who would have imagined? It must have taken maximum restraint to avoiid asking Dudlley's 'witch' what house she was in at Hogwarts. Excellent, keep up the good work.

Author's Response: Dudley started growing up in OotP, I think. Harry just managed to stop Ginny from asking that very awkward question. -N-

I spent several months as one of only three men I a store. I know what you mean. I’ll leave you to decide how much of Lavender’s diatribe she really meant.

Poor Bobbie
fell down the rabbit hole we (US readers) fell into back in 98 She gives Muggleborn a new definition. She did want answers, for some reason she doesn't seem to think much of the info she is getting.
Looks like she is holding up OK
can't wait til she sees Kreacher or better yet Luna
Excellent keep up the good work!

Author's Response:
Thanks.
Next: Harry and Kingsley have a chat; Bobbie gets more information, chooses sides, and gives some useful information; and, Lavender is Lavender.
No Kreacher or Luna, but the Ministry.
