My name is Moira, and I Trust Severus Snape. I'm a total Potterholic, if I may use the phrase, and I was never really interested in fan fiction until I read this one story I thought was pretty good--and the image of the Veil wouldn't leave me alone after book five, and it spilled over into a one-chapter kind of fan fiction thing. And then the ideas wouldn't stop coming... So that's me... you may clap now... or not, as you choose.

Harry Potter and the Randomness That Follows by trevorthetoad

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Featuring: Harry on his never-ending quest to brush his hair, and Voldemort's attempt to stop him. Also featuring: a certain geometry teacher, Charlie Brown, the actual sparkly hairbrush, and much, much more! Other chapters include more random events, and none of them have to do with anything even remotely important. YAY!

Hilarious. This whole story had me laughing out loud which drew me some rather odd looks. But that's not nearly as odd as when they leaned over my shoulder and started reading and started laughing and started drawing strange looks themselves...

Author's Response: YES!!! I'm not the only one who gets those looks! I knew there had to be someone else too. I'm so... proud to be the reason that those looks were on innocent passerby! I could cry, you know.

Curse of the Reapers by deanine

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: A different sort of alternate universe... It is a world under the thumb of an ancient emperor. Muggle society has been oppressed beyond recognition. Wizards rule over all, their only laws defined by power. This is the story of a rebellion, a family, a traitor, and the long road that leads home at last.

That was hilarious!! I love it. The tattoo did make me wonder, though--an anti-dark mark, perhaps?? I hope you add more about Dumbledore and Snape, though, that could get really interesting... great job! I love reading this story.

Author's Response: I'm so glad it made you laugh! :)

Everyone seems to really love those tatoos, but they're just a mundane symbol between fledgling friends.

Snape is very important to the fic and will continue to show up, but he never stops being peripheral.

Albus, the pupetmaster, never leaves the canvas for long.

Thanks for the review!

Harry Potter and the Liar's Vow by TatteredBloodyRose

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •

I can't believe you killed him! Nooo! It's so very sad. A good story, but... you KILLED him! *sob*

Dear Lily by chloish

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary:

Messrs. Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs -- These names are known by every person in Hogwarts. These names, and an envelope with a scarlet wax seal bearing the letters: MWPP.

The teachers dread it, the students revel in it...but who are these 'Marauders,' as they are called? That's just it. Nobody knows. Most every prank Hogwarts sees is at the hands of these mysterious Marauders, and the perpetrators always walk free. They could never be caught. You can’t catch phantoms.

Lily Evans is just as curious as the next student as to who these Marauders are, but her curiosity is transformed into a hungry need, when she receives a letter herself from a certain Mr. Prongs. [This story is slightly AU, but more on that in the author's note at the end.]

This is an awesome story! I'm not usually too fond of Lily-James love stories, but you've got me hooked. More, please!

Author's Response: Thank you!

The Prongs Complex by Cherry and Phoenix Feather

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: James finally asks Lily out. The problem is, he chose a roundabout way of getting to her. Plus, he stands a high risk of breaking his neck in the process. Told from Remus Lupin's POV. Rated 3rd-5th years for slight language and mild innuendo on James's part. One-shot.

A/N: Quick note to all: I am sorry, but there are no plans for a sequel for PC. I hate to disappoint you all, but I feel that the story is better standing alone, leaving the rest to your imaginations.
