Ready or Not by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: The wizarding world picks up its pieces after the war and apart from the inevitable grief from the loss all around, everything seems to be peaceful. However, little do Harry, Ron and Hermione know that this is just the calm before the storm, because there is something else that they have to come face-to-face with: life.

Auror training. Death Eater chases. Hogwarts. Relationship hurdles. Even without Voldemort around, Harry, Ron and Hermione may just have to come to terms with the fact that life can never be normal for them.

Very good so far! All of them are in character and I love to see how their relationships are developing. I'm looking forward to reading more!

Author's Response: Ooh, thank you! I am so glad you're enjoying the characterisation, and the romantic developments! Like I said, I'm suffering a block at the moment, but I will most definitely bounce back. I just need a break, and some time, I think, ha! Thanks! :)

Two Guys, a Girl and a Whole Lot of Embarrassment by hestiajones

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry, Ron and Hermione are on a trip in America. Or are they? It's April Fools' Day, and they might just be the victim of one cosmic prank pulled by a red-headed man and a ghost.

For my flist, and for you.

It's not even April anymore, but this made me smile. I teared up a bit towards the end just because I'd never thought of Tom Riddle in that light before. This tale you've woven is of Shakespearian proportions--never before have I read something so beautiful, so fragile, so...real. Even Rowling herself would have been shocked and amazed by this brilliant masterpiece.

Author's Response: It's reviews like this that restores my faith in the power of my writing. -sniff- thank you, for making me believe in myself!

That's such a beautiful poem! I love how he compares her to all of the seasons so that she is a part of them. The ending was lovely and sad and horrible all at the same time because poor Severus will always be trapped by darkness and winter. I think that you captured everything very well--everything from the tone to the imagery was flawless.

Author's Response: Wow, I am speechless. Thank you for that high praise! :) I hope you enjoy everything else you read. :)
